Chapter 253: The Second Match, Officially Begins!

Time slipped away in a flash.

On the last day of June, the second match of this season's "Simulated Crime" was finally scheduled!

The premiere date is just three days away!

Once this news broke, related topics quickly climbed the trending lists on major social media platforms, sparking the attention of countless people!

In less than ten minutes, the promotional video released on the program's official social media account had been reposted over a hundred million times!

To capture this wave of traffic, many self-media video creators produced interpretation videos of the promo at the first opportunity, pushing the hype for this live broadcast to an unprecedented climax!

Especially the discussions regarding the match's premise, which almost became the hottest trending topic of the moment, completely dominating half of the landscape on major social media!

At the end of the promo, the Program Team also left a cliffhanger, claiming that new experts and a Pursuit Captain would be joining the pursuit team for the next match!

At the same time, the match rules would also undergo corresponding adjustments.

These changes were basically all targeted at Chu Chen.

Even if the Program Team didn't say it explicitly, everyone knew it in their hearts!

【The Program Team really has no shame left!】

【Aren't you guys just trying to target God Chu?】

【They have to target him, they can't afford the prize money!】

【Good heavens, new people in the Expert Group again?】

【God Chu might be facing an epic nerf!】

【So looking forward to God Chu's performance in the next match!】

【Haha, the Program Team is clearly panicking!】

Judging by these bullet comments in the promo, it is clear that people are full of anticipation for Chu Chen's performance in the next match!

And the facts are indeed so!

From the moment the Program Team released the broadcast announcement until now, the internet search volume for Chu Chen's name has directly leaped to become the No. 1 trending search term of the year, easily breaking the search record set by Liu Feiren back in the day.

However, among them, there are also some who do not look favorably upon his performance in the next match.

They believe his extreme sports have certain limitations!

If the match premise is a non-violent crime like fraud, the room for him to maneuver will certainly not be very large!

It is understandable why these people would say this.

Because in the last match, apart from extreme sports, Chu Chen had displayed almost no other criminal skills.

Based on this point, his performance in the next match is indeed an unknown; to know the truth, one can only wait and see.

At first, this issue was only being discussed in small circles.

But as the heat fermented, it quickly rushed onto the Weibo trending list and evolved into a very intense fan war!

Both sides of the war were Chu Chen's fans.

It's just that some were die-hard fans, and some were casual fans, and the momentum was ridiculously large.

This war lasted for three whole days, and because the traffic was simply too massive, it ended with the Weibo app being forced to go offline!

If the Weibo app had been any more resilient, it is estimated that this matter would have soon affected normal internet order and completely evolved into a public opinion disaster.

Three days passed quickly.

Under the anticipation of hundreds of millions of viewers globally, the day for the second match of "Simulated Crime" to air finally arrived!

As early as eight in the morning.

The moment the official live stream room was lit up, countless viewers poured in instantly!

In less than three seconds, the online popularity broke the one-billion mark!

【Front row!】

【First!】

【So excited, family!】

【It's finally starting!】

【I've waited until my flowers have withered!】

【When does it start?】

【Liu Ming is here!】

【Zhang Heng, stop watching!】

Various bullet comments came in wave after wave.

They quickly swallowed the live broadcast screen.

Right now, because the program hasn't officially started, the screen has been looping the previous promotional video.

At the same time, the countdown to the start in the top right corner has also officially begun!

At the same time, besides Huaxia, the live broadcast platforms of the other five continental television networks were also extremely hot!

These viewers, without exception, were almost all here for Chu Chen.

Watching the rapidly growing live broadcast data in the control room, Chief Director Zhang Yiwen immediately notified the Technical Department to add ten more network lines to the live stream room to ensure the broadcast was foolproof!

This return to the air is no small matter.

The quality of the return data is directly related to the life cycle of the program!

If the data passes, the entire program will usher in a qualitative leap and radiate infinite Life!

Facing such a situation, how could Zhang Yiwen dare to be negligent? He personally directed and deployed almost every link!

From last night until now, he has slept for less than an hour, spending the rest of the time in the control room!

Following Zhang Yiwen's order, the live stream room's network lines soon increased by ten.

Four high-definition feeds, six Blu-ray feeds!

In this way, the popularity also easily ushered in a surge, breaking through the two billion mark in the blink of an eye!

This is still under the condition that the broadcast hasn't officially started; if it officially starts, the five billion mark will truly be broken with ease!

At the same time!

While the Program Team was going all out for the premiere data, Chu Chen and the other fourteen contestants who advanced to this competition had already arrived at the contestant preparation rooms under the guidance of the Logistics Team staff, waiting for the Program Team to announce the Life topic!

Just like the first competition, this time, each contestant also occupies one contestant preparation room!

There are two rooms in the contestant preparation room, separated in the middle by a one-way viewing glass used for interrogation rooms.

Through this glass, the Logistics Team staff can clearly see every move the contestants make.

At this moment, on the other side of the glass.

Inside the spacious room, it was so quiet that a pin drop could be heard.

Watching Chu Chen sitting motionless in his seat, the expression of every staff member was very complex.

Right now, although the competition had not officially started, a strange, bad premonition had inexplicably arisen in their hearts!

At the same time.

The atmosphere in the Command Room was the same!

The entire pursuit team was looking forward to another clash with Chu Chen!

But because of the previous defeat, their mood at this very moment was also very complex, with excitement and apprehension coexisting.

Very soon.

The time finally reached ten o'clock in the morning.

Accompanied by the end of the countdown, the live broadcast officially began!

The next second.

When the camera cut to the resplendent Studio Hall No. 1, the host Xiao Sa appeared in the live broadcast frame for the first time, and said his opening remarks to hundreds of millions of viewers around the world:

"Dear audience friends, good morning everyone. Welcome to watch the large-scale outdoor live reality show 'Simulated Crime', jointly created by China Central Television, major satellite TV stations, and the ten major live streaming platforms. I am the host for this program, Xiao Sa!"
