Chapter 89: Target Located!

The night passed without incident!

In the blink of an eye.

The next morning!

As the pursuit operation was in full swing, after an entire night of navigating, Chu Chen finally arrived at the Kisangani section of the Congo River!

After entering Kisangani.

Being there, Chu Chen immediately felt the massive changes in the river's conditions!

This drastic change was not just in the flow speed of the water.

The drop in terrain had also increased significantly compared to before.

Because of this, the entire river channel had become exceptionally turbulent!

In between, all kinds of small waterfalls were becoming more and more frequent!

During this time, the audience could see the exciting live broadcast of Chu Chen performing Kayaking over waterfalls almost every minute!

Some waterfalls were three meters high, some reached five meters, and there were even ones ten meters high!

Watching these scenes, the discussions in the live broadcast room never stopped!

【Damn, this is too thrilling!】

【He's really courting death!】

【Could this be the legendary Water Spirit?】

【So cool! It's really too cool!】

【Chu God's stamina is truly invincible!】

【Yeah, he's been going for a whole night, only eating a few energy gels, and he can actually keep going until now!】

【It's truly formidable! If it were me, I would have probably kicked the bucket long ago!】

【Go Chu God, the Pursuit Team is already on their way!】

【This time the Expert Group sent six Pursuit Captains over, and it seems South Africa has also dispatched troops to coordinate with them!】

【Really? Now there's a good show to watch!】

At the same time!

On a military helicopter above the Congo River!

At this moment.

All six Pursuit Captains were in position.

They had only arrived in South Africa early this morning, and under the arrangement of the Expert Group, they quickly assembled to prepare for the capture of Chu Chen!

To ensure their capture operation went more smoothly, the South African military was very accommodating, directly dispatching twenty thousand National Defense Force soldiers and dozens of helicopters for them to deploy at will!

After receiving this assistance, the six captains immediately laid out a dragnet in the middle and lower reaches of the Congo River.

This time, in order to trap Chu Chen in Africa, they went to great lengths at the river mouth southwest of Kinshasa, directly pulling up a steel wire net dozens of meters long to enclose the river mouth!

The mesh of the steel wire net was so small that even the smallest sardine could not swim through it.

Let alone a person!

After setting all this up, the six captains immediately boarded a military helicopter and traveled upstream along the river, heading toward their destination: the Hell's Gate Waterfall in Kisangani!

Because just a short while ago, they had received news from the Expert Group that Chu Chen was currently active in that area!

Sitting inside the cabin, Zhou Yun stared at the Congo River outside the window, lost in thought.

Even now, he could not fully visualize in his mind the scene of a person Kayaking through these large and small waterfalls!

In his eyes, the difficulty of such a challenge was in no way inferior to the "Heavenly Birth" of Mount Everest!

Without enough guts and courage to support it, it was truly hard to make it to the end!

Especially those large waterfalls downstream!

How could one conquer them with just this small boat?

Thinking of this, Zhou Yun couldn't help but let out a long breath to ease his inner tension:

"Hoo!"

Seeing him like this, Zhuang Yan frowned and asked calmly, "Team Captain, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, just feel like this place... is a bit terrifying..."

At this moment, in the live broadcast room!

Seeing the burly, muscular captain actually showing a bit of cowardice, the audience became interested and teased him one after another:

【Let me translate for everyone: I'm scared!】

【Haha, he's definitely scared!】

【The muscular captain has finally chickened out!】

【It's not shameful; no one can handle this scene except Chu God!】

【Whoever goes to this place is just asking for their own funeral!】

Hearing him say this, Zhuang Yan also felt a lingering fear, but her gaze remained firm!

She didn't reveal even a shred of cowardice!

【Yanyan is so beautiful!】

【Captain Muscle, don't you worry, with my wife here, this is nothing!】

【@The guy above, whoever has yellow urine, come and spray him awake!】

【Haha!】

【I'll do it!】

【Front row, high-profile claiming Goddess Yanyan!】

【Suppose, I mean suppose! If I say I am Yanyan's boyfriend, would you believe it?】

【@Yellow Urine Brother, there's another one here, trouble you!】

"I really can't imagine how he made the decision to come and carry out a challenge like this, this crazy guy..."

Gazing at the Congo River coiling through the primeval forest, Zhou Yun sighed once again.

Hearing this, Captain Sun Bo, who was sitting next to him, raised his voice in agreement: "If he didn't have this bit of courage, he wouldn't have jumped down from Mount Everest. Come to think of it, this kid is truly daring; after reading his file, I still haven't recovered even now... He cannot be underestimated!"

The next second.

Before he could finish his sentence, Chen Xiong, who had been searching for the target with binoculars the whole time, suddenly said:

"Everyone, there is a situation at two o'clock!"

Hearing Chen Xiong say this, the remaining five captains immediately perked up and simultaneously picked up their binoculars, looking in the direction he indicated!

Amidst the surging river, one could see a man wearing a black waterproof suit, using the paddle in his hands to fight against the rapids!

Not far in front of him was the famous Hell's Gate Waterfall!

Looking out, the massive torrent was like a white silk ribbon dancing wantonly, spanning across the cliff hundreds of meters wide!

During this, countless columns of Water poured down heartily, occasionally kicking up giant waves several meters high in the river channel below!

The rising mist of Water made everything in the surroundings sink into a hazy blur!

Seeing this scene, Zhou Yun immediately picked up his walkie-talkie and ordered the helicopters following behind him: "All units please pay attention, all units please pay attention, target spotted! Target spotted!"

"His current location is Kisangani on the upper reaches of the Congo River, about five kilometers away from Kisangani Falls!"

"Now, all pursuit team members in the vicinity, please assemble immediately below Kisangani Falls and prepare to carry out the capture of the target! Additionally, all snipers, please get ready and wait for my command!"

At the order, the pursuit team members in the vicinity responded immediately, arriving one after another below the big Waterfall, preparing to surround and intercept Chu Chen!

At the same time!

All the snipers on the helicopters also got ready, taking out their Explosion-proof Net guns to aim at Chu Chen, waiting for Zhou Yun's command!
