Chapter 2939: The Two Armies Go to War

"How many of these fine items have you refined?" Ye Liuyun immediately asked Qiong Qi.

Qiong Qi told Ye Liuyun: "This is a test sample; many aspects of the design are still imperfect. However, about three finished products have already been refined. Use them to hold out for a while, and then every three days I'll give you three more."

He also worried Ye Liuyun might be impatient, and explained: "We are refining them within your clone's Space World; all senior alchemists are working together, so this is already the fastest speed."

Moreover, the soldiers who pilot these spheres need training time, so it doesn't delay anything! Your side just needs enough; we will continue to improve this great weapon later, and this time serves as a field test.

After speaking, Qiong Qi released three spheres. The team piloting the spheres consisted of exactly eighteen soldiers, with six soldiers standing beside each sphere.

"Good! These three spheres are enough for us to hold off the ancient demon army!"

Ye Liuyun nodded in confirmation, ordered the soldiers to rest in place awaiting orders, and told them that when battle begins he will directly translocate the entire sphere outward, so they should be ready in advance. Biquku

At this moment, Qiong Qi told Ye Liuyun: "You need to prepare several more Primordial Powers for them. Though this thing's power is great, its consumption is also huge!"

"A single Energy Cannon attack, bombarding continuously for one hour, will consume roughly one Primordial Power!"

Ye Liuyun didn't mind the consumption, smiling: "It doesn't matter! If an Energy Cannon fires at full power for an hour, even an entire planet would be reduced to rubble! What kind of enemy would have to be so terrible for us to strike so fiercely?"

"Hahaha!" Qiong Qi laughed satisfyingly, but still warned Ye Liuyun: "Don't be careless! This fine stuff mustn't be snatched by the enemy!"

Ye Liuyun smiled and nodded. Then he suddenly recalled something and asked Qiong Qi: "Could the enemy use Spatial Power to completely translocate this large sphere?"

Qiong Qi scoffed: "Do you underestimate our design ability? We anticipated this long ago. The Formation that prevents Space Translocation is placed inside the sphere, so even if the outer shell is blown apart, others can't capture it."

Moreover, it is driven by Primordial Power. The power of Primordial Power—how many people can translocate

it?

Ye Liuyun no longer worried, walked around the large sphere and turned several satisfied circles. The sphere was not small either; it stood about ten times his height, and even a single smash could kill the ancient demons.

Immediately, he issued three Primordial Powers to each squad of soldiers. Those soldiers promptly installed one into the sphere, stored the other two, and prepared for battle.

Ye Liuyun also instructed them: "If the fight truly breaks out, consume as much as you like; don't be reluctant to use that energy. Just avoid intentional waste!"

"Yes!" the soldiers answered in unison.

Ye Liuyun immediately gave the orders to Heishan and Hutou Half-Beast King to prepare for the expedition.

Afterwards, Ye Liuyun used Divine Sense to communicate with the Ten Thousand Gods Command, having it seize the planet they were on.

And when this planet vanished, the opposing ancient demon race also realized the great war was about to begin.

Ye Liuyun no longer let the Spirit Cat Warship attack the ancient demon army; instead, he found a landing spot, first rushed over himself wearing the Invisibility Cloak, and then released the Demon Race army.

He also donned two layers of armor to guard against ambushes. The Monster Beast and the women didn't let them out at all, nor set up any Defense Array. After the Demon Race army formed a proper formation, it began to advance toward the ancient demon army.

Recently, with ample resource replenishment, the soldiers of the Demon Race have all advanced in realm, and with so many ancient demon resources awaiting capture, they are excited and morale is high.

On the ancient demon side, the whole army also set out, each legion activating in succession, marching toward Ye Liuyun's Demon Race army.

Within Ye Liuyun's Space World, the three large spheres each had doors open, with six soldiers training at each doorway, awaiting orders.

"This battle rests on you!"

Ye Liuyun took a deep breath and began issuing orders: "Spirit Cat Warship, one squad to the starry sky to monitor enemy reinforcements and the whole planet's situation. One squad to watch enemy movements. The remaining Spirit Cat Warships, guard above the Demon Race army, ready for battle.

All battle wagons and Puppet Beasts, move to the front of the army formation and prepare to charge. All forces must have Energy Cannons ready; without my command, no one may engage!"

Orders cascaded down, and the corresponding soldiers acted immediately. First the Spirit Cat Warships lifted off, then the battle wagons and Puppet Beasts were deployed, positioned at the front of the army.

directly in front.

The outermost edges of the Demon Race army on all four sides—front, rear, left, right—were equipped with Energy Cannons. The several rear rows of soldiers also readied the micro Energy Cannons on their armor, and the army continued to advance steadily. Biquku

Then, information from the ancient demon army was fed back through the Spirit Cat Warship.

Ye Liuyun learned that the fifty thousand ancient demon legion charging at the front was their weakest line, evidently sent as cannon fodder.

As the two armies kept advancing, they would soon meet. The opposing fifty thousand ancient demon army had already accelerated its march, preparing to charge directly, using brute force to scatter Ye Liuyun's army.

But as soon as they accelerated, a swarm of Spirit Cat Warships surged forward, bombarding and intercepting them, preventing them from gaining speed.

"Battle wagons and Puppet Beasts accelerate gradually, pulling away from the main force!" Ye Liuyun issued this command as well.

Both armies were already very close, and one could even faintly hear the warships' bombardments and the ancient demons' roars.

At his command, the battle wagons and Puppet Beasts sped up, creating a short distance from the main force.

Not long after, the forward troops of both sides had already sighted each other.

Ye Liuyun's first clone also donned the Invisibility Cloak, left the Flying Demon Wolf and the fifty‑eight Demon Beasts for Ye Liuyun, and rushed into the starry sky to monitor the whole battlefield's situation.

Once the clone was in position, Ye Liuyun immediately withdrew the Spirit Cat Warship, preparing for the official battle.

On the ancient demon side, without the Spirit Cat Warship's interception, they instantly launched a full‑scale charge, still a chaotic, uncoordinated onslaught.

Seeing this tactic, Ye Liuyun felt considerably more at ease.

"Begin the battle!"

Ye Liuyun immediately issued the order, handing the army's command to Heishan and Hutou Half-Beast King, while he focused solely on the actual combat.

The battle wagons and Puppet Beasts, under Heishan's command, immediately began bombarding the ancient demon army without charging forward. The Demon Race army behind them also halted instantly, preparing defensive positions in place.

Once the ancient demon army engaged, the bombardment from the battle wagons and Puppet Beasts caused considerable damage. Moreover, even if they reached the wagons and Puppet Beasts, the front‑line Energy Cannons of the Demon Race army behind could protect those units, preventing the demons from fully confronting them.
