Chapter 2938: Strange Sphere

Ye Liuyun not only let the Spirit Cat Warship go harass the ancient demon tribe's army, but also occasionally sent out a puppet beast, directly charging the ancient demon army to observe their combat strength.

However, the Guiyi Third Layer experts pursuing him were all blocked by the ancient demon guards he released, then subdued one by one with Divine Soul Power, and instead he ended up capturing many of those experts.

After a period of turmoil, the ancient demon tribe's army also began occasionally sending a small squad of ancient demon soldiers to assault the Formation where Ye Liuyun was stationed.

"It seems these ancient demons have also learned to harass opponents from me!" Ye Liuyun felt somewhat anxious. He estimated that Qiong Qi and company couldn't recreate a big killer weapon, so the ancient demons on the opposite planet could no longer hold back and would send troops here.

Before the helm was something like an arrow quiver, bearing rows of energy cannon muzzles.

The rest were various connecting devices, which Ye Liuyun simply couldn't figure out what they were for.

"How are all these cannon muzzles inside the sphere? Could the front of the sphere open when attacking?" Ye Liuyun asked offhand.

Qiong Qi just grinned at Ye Liuyun without speaking, obviously wanting him to keep guessing.

Ye Liuyun knew his thoughts and said directly: "Just tell me the purpose already! I can barely hold out out there."

"Haha!" Qiong Qi laughed twice, also knowing the pressure outside was greater for him, so he began explaining.

"This great sphere is driven by six people, able to travel and attack in different directions. But after gliding for a while, the sphere began spatial teleportation, arriving before an uninhabited small island.

Within Ye Liuyun's Space World, as soon as he thinks, he can firmly lock onto that sphere.

Not long after, the small island was pierced by a single shot from the energy cannon; then the sphere fired multiple single shots, unleashing twenty‑eight energy beams together that made the island tremble, blasted a large crater in the ground, and left it utterly devastated.

"Watch out! The fun is coming!" Qiong Qi laughed while reminding Ye Liuyun.

As soon as his words fell, the great sphere began rapid‑fire bursts, sheets of energy beams shooting at the small island; after a few rounds the island was blown to fragments.

"This power!" Ye Liuyun was so shocked he didn't know how to praise it.

At this intensity of bombardment, not only the ancient demon army, but even a Guiyi Fourth Layer ancient demon expert would be blown to ashes.

After blasting the small island, the great sphere then fired a six‑direction multiple single shot, but stopped after just one volley.

"Haha, I was afraid they'd blast your Space World to pieces, so I didn't give you more of a show." Qiong Qi looked at Ye Liuyun's stunned expression and grew proud again.

Ye Liuyun also nodded repeatedly, praising it without end.

At that moment the great sphere also returned via spatial teleportation, coming to rest before Ye Liuyun.

"You guys researched this great thing so quickly?" Ye Liuyun then thought to ask Qiong Qi.

Qiong Qi mysteriously told him: "We started researching this after pulling back from the Foreign Tribe; only now did we feel it was ready enough to actually build it."
