Chapter 896: Gifting the Dragon Eagle

Xia Tianqiong explained, "If you can give this Dragon Eagle to me, I'd already be grateful! No matter how you say it, it's something you risked to obtain—I couldn't just take it for free!"

He then asked Ye Liuyun for the Token, wanting to directly deduct five hundred points from Ye Liuyun.

Ye Liuyun didn't want points; he wanted her to owe him a favor. But in the end he couldn't win against her, so he had to accept.

"Alright, now you don't owe me anything, but my little sister Ling Shuang—how are you going to thank her? She's worried sick for you!" Xia Tianqiong said to Ye Liuyun with a smile.

Ling Shuang glanced at the Dragon Eagle; although she liked it a bit, she still said, "I don't want it—I already have a Winged Dragon. Moreover, the rank of these two Dragon Eagles is rather low; you should turn them over to the academy."

Ye Liuyun thought it over and felt Ling Shuang had indeed helped him a lot, so he should show gratitude, but he couldn't bring out the higher-ranked Dragon Eagle in front of Xia Tianqiong and the others.

So he directly invited Ling Shuang to ride the Flying Eagle: "Come up and try it first; we'll ride back together, then you can decide whether you want it."

"Hehe, you two can slowly fly side by side; I won't disturb you!"

Xia Tianqiong gave Ling Shuang a meaningful look, smiled, then returned to the Warship and left first.

Ling Shuang, blushing, mounted a Dragon Eagle and walked back together with Ye Liuyun.

Ye Liuyun, in order to distance himself from Xia Tianqiong, deliberately flew slowly, making Ling Shuang blush all over her face.

Only after Xia Tianqiong and the others had gone far away did Ye Liuyun release an Honored Rank Dragon Eagle.

As soon as the Dragon Eagle appeared, its huge size startled Ling Shuang.

"This Dragon Eagle is a gift for you. Just now the Pavilion Master was present, so I couldn't bring it out!" Ye Liuyun explained to Ling Shuang.

"For me?" Ling Shuang was so excited she didn't know what to say, still thinking Ye Liuyun had intentionally saved it for her.

Ye Liuyun nodded: "Your spatial power is rather weak, isn't it! Moreover, this Dragon Eagle's rank is higher—it's far stronger than your Winged Dragon!"

Next, he helped Ling Shuang and that Dragon Eagle sign a Master-Servant Contract, removing the Slave Seal.

"Thank you!" Ling Shuang said shyly.

"Don't be polite! You've helped me many times—it's my turn to thank you!" Ye Liuyun said.

Ling Shuang looked at Ye Liuyun and secretly thought: "Is it just to thank me?"

After a while, she finally mustered the courage to ask Ye Liuyun: "Do you want to know what I look like?"

Ye Liuyun, however, laughed: "I already knew!"

Saying that, he also pointed to his Golden Pupil.

"Ah? Your Golden Pupil can see my appearance through the mask?" Ling Shuang exclaimed in surprise.

"Yes!" Ye Liuyun nodded in confirmation.

"Then I've basically been seen naked by you..." Ling Shuang, upon hearing this, blushed all over her face, her hands unconsciously covering her chest.

"What are you thinking! Am I that kind of person?" Ye Liuyun helplessly shook his head.

"You really haven't looked?" Ling Shuang asked, half-believing, half-doubting.

"Of course!" Ye Liuyun looked into Ling Shuang's eyes and said sincerely.

"Alright, I believe you! But could you turn your head away and not look at me?" Ling Shuang said softly.

"Sigh, fine—if I'd known you'd misunderstand, I wouldn't have told you!"

Ye Liuyun turned his head away and urged the Dragon Eagle beneath him to speed up.

At the same time he reminded Ling Shuang: "Put away your Dragon Eagle and ride mine back, otherwise it'll be too flashy!"

Only then did Ling Shuang put away her Dragon Eagle and follow Ye Liuyun back to the academy.

After returning to Qian Long Academy, Ye Liuyun immediately went to the Mission Hall, exchanged his points back. Then he used points to exchange for five hundred various medicinal pills.

Afterwards, he prepared to leave Qian Long Academy and return once more to Courageous Fierce Island.

"Hey! Where are you off to again?" Ling Shuang chased after him, asking.

"I'm going back to Courageous Fierce Island to send some resources over!" Ye Liuyun said.

"Then let me come with you. Riding my Dragon Eagle will be faster." Ling Shuang suggested, blushing.

"No need, I still have another of the same rank. You should focus on your cultivation—don't keep running after me aimlessly!" Ye Liuyun said, and without waiting for Ling Shuang's reply, he directly vanished into the void and left Qian Long Academy.

"He wouldn't be angry with me because I misunderstood him, would he?" Ling Shuang stood there, guessing to herself.

After Ye Liuyun and the others had gone far away, he then released the Honored Rank Dragon Eagle and rushed back to Courageous Fierce Island.

The speed of the Honored Rank Dragon Eagle already far surpassed that of the Super Warship.

Moreover, the huge Dragon Eagle's scale armor—he could casually lift a piece and it would block his body; he didn't need to raise a True Essence shield to resist the strong wind, and even his cultivation wasn't delayed.

The Honored Rank Dragon Eagle, flying wildly in the sky, had no flying beasts or ferocious creatures daring to provoke it.

Thus, the journey was safe and sound, and Ye Liuyun quickly returned to Courageous Fierce Island.

"Form defensive lines!"

When Qin Peng first noticed that Honored Rank Dragon Eagle, he also felt a jolt of alarm. He immediately gathered the troops, arranged their formation, and prepared to concentrate their forces for an attack.

Only after he received Ye Liuyun's Transmission Voice did he relax.

The huge Dragon Eagle, carrying a shadow, flew over the soldiers' heads and steadily landed at the entrance of the Marquis's Mansion.

The Golden Lion guarding the Marquis's Mansion was frightened until its mane stood on end. Seeing Ye Liuyun riding on the Dragon Eagle's back, it then relaxed.

Du Yan and the others also felt the pressure of the Honored Rank, and they all rushed out from the mansion to check the situation.

"Marquis, is this Dragon Eagle from Nine Dragon Ridge?" Qin Peng hurried over and asked delightedly.

"Exactly. Do you like it?" Ye Liuyun asked Qin Peng.

"Hehe! Of course I like it!" Qin Peng laughed embarrassedly.

"Come over, I'll help you bond with it!" Ye Liuyun called Qin Peng over.

At first Qin Peng didn't dare approach the Dragon Eagle. Indeed, the Honored Rank Dragon Eagle's fierce aura made him feel too oppressed.

"What? This is being given to me?" Qin Peng felt it was somewhat unbelievable.

You know, in the Daxia Dynasty, some princes don't even have a Dragon Eagle as a mount.

Now Ye Liuyun actually wants to give him one, and it's an Honored Rank at that! He finds it hard to believe it's real.

Ye Liuyun directly helped Qin Peng draft a master-servant contract, had the dragon eagle sign it, then lifted the dragon eagle's slave seal and handed the dragon eagle over to Qin Peng.

Qin Peng was so excited he didn't know what to say!

"Give it a try riding it!" Ye Liuyun said with a smile to comfort him.

"All right!" Qin Peng excitedly jumped onto the dragon eagle, controlled it to fly a circle around Brave Fierce Island before landing.

He had a storage ring capable of storing living things, and directly stored the dragon eagle inside. Then he knelt on one knee and thanked Ye Liuyun.

Afterwards, Ye Liuyun took out another supreme-rank dragon eagle and gave it to Du Yan.
