Chapter 12: Top-Tier Sun, Moon, and Star

~7 min read 1,290 words

Sasriel looked at all of this without a word, examining the chairs one by one.

Finally, he looked at Chumen, his face seemingly covered by a thick layer of Shadow, making it impossible for others to see what he was thinking.

Lilith and the Goddess, meanwhile, were staring blankly at the two high-backed chairs representing the "Mother Goddess" and "End," sensing a connection to the symbols described therein that they did not know the origin of.

"Of course," a smile curled at the corners of Chumen's mouth, "the fifth chair, Dream!"

The last chair symbolized endless Dream, the ball of light floating in the Dream Sea; it was the limit of all beauty, implying that dreams come true and wishes are fulfilled.

Five chairs, five positions, among which the three Pillars of the universe were complete, along with an implied Fourth Pillar, and one Dream.

"Please, take your seats!" Chumen sat down first on the "Dream" chair.

Sasriel, Amanises, and Lilith each took their seats.

From this point on, only "Mysteries" remained vacant.

"Still one short..." Chumen felt a bit regretful; this seat would likely not welcome its master for several thousand years.

And the three before him were the top-tier Sun, Moon, and Star combination!

"What does this symbolize?" the Goddess asked.

"Pillar and Dominator!" Chumen pointed out, but only Sasriel had any reaction; Lilith and the Goddess had not yet learned this knowledge.

"From now on, let's call this the Dream Council; does anyone have any objections?" Chumen asked.

The gods all shook their heads; this place belonged to Chumen, and it could suppress the madness and indifference inherent in their nature, so they all needed to thank Chumen.

"However, the seats here are not immutable; remember to guard yours well," Chumen said to the three.

The most dangerous among them was Lilith; truly, if she were not careful, she might be swallowed by the existence on the Moon.

Lilith and the Goddess of Fate nodded gently; they could feel that even if they became True Gods, they would only be fulfilling a certain part of the symbols.

That meant there very likely existed a level beyond True God.

As for who could master it?

Sasriel remained silent as before.

"The convening of the Dream Council is up to you; you can gather if there is something, or even come here to hide from the erosion of madness," Chumen set the Rule entirely on the spot.

"Agreed." Lilith was the first to raise her hand to vote; here, she possessed her true self, undisturbed by madness.

The other two nodded as well.

"Alright, I haven't thought of anything for now, feel free to communicate; by the way, one more thing, communication here will not be known by anyone other than yourselves," Chumen crossed his hands, instantly possessing the aura of a convener of a Hidden gathering.

The Goddess sought out Lilith, and after a few brief sentences, they had a certain hidden, long-term, and ruthless plan, which made Chumen's heart jump with fright.

"These are probably the two most unprovokable wo... gods in the world."

After confirming her status in the plan, Sasriel exchanged glances with Chumen, and later simply opened a private window to chat on the side.

"Finally, I wish us a pleasant cooperation, and also send off those Ancient Gods who are about to perish."

Chumen manifested wine glasses in front of the gods; Sasriel and Chumen's were white vodka, while Lilith and the Goddess's were blood-colored red wine.

Clink!

The four wine glasses touched together.

The gears of Fate began to turn, and the tide of history rolled forward.

The Goddess of Fate's consciousness returned to her body, exiting the Hidden state.

Her eyes were bright and piercing as she looked toward the Giant King's Court, "Twilight Giant..."

"It is not yet the best time." The Goddess sank back into silence.

As for Chumen, he had already returned to the Kingdom of God of the Ancient Sun God.

Hmm... Deep Darkness City was just the Goddess's Anchor; it had almost no combat power, nor the ability to participate in this war, so it was useless for him to go back; this Pope job really gave him no sense of accomplishment.

"Does your Kingdom of God lack a Pope?" Chumen asked Sasriel.

At that moment, Chumen saw an exceptionally rich expression, "A Pope can also hold a concurrent post?"

Sasriel was left speechless; how could he not see the Faith Anchor on Chumen? As a Pope and God's Proxy, that aura could not be hidden at all.

"Ahem! I'm just asking!" Chumen was also a bit embarrassed.

"Then does the Creator need a Dream Angel under his seat?" Chumen had inspected this Sun God's Kingdom of God; the believers here were at least dozens of times more numerous than those in Deep Darkness City, and they were all true believers.

Now, relying on the Faith Anchor of Deep Darkness City, he could leverage combat power comparable to a Sequence 1 from the Dream Book; if he had dozens of times more, wouldn't he be able to rival a god?

That was truly covetous!

And in this world, true believers never hang themselves from a single Church...

Sasriel had never heard such a request and for a moment did not know how to respond.

"This..." Just as Sasriel did not know how to speak, a thought arose in his heart, which made him look at Chumen with an even stranger gaze.

"The Lord has agreed." Sasriel's expression was strange; he did not know what the main body was up to.

And the next moment, he became serious again, "The Lord has made a prophecy: Dream becomes Reality!"

Chumen raised an eyebrow, "This is His prophecy?"

Sasriel nodded gently.

Even though the current Ancient Sun God had not yet fully mastered the Authority of Omniscient and Omnipotent, the prophecies He made still held great effect.

"Dream becomes Reality..." This prophecy had many different interpretations.

"From now on, you are the Dream Angel under my Lord's seat!" Sasriel said solemnly, "I will record you in the Scripture, write down your deeds, and have them sung among the believers."

"This..." It had come too easily; Chumen was stunned.

"I won't refuse what comes!" Chumen still accepted this position of Dream Angel; the Ancient Sun God might have plans for him, but in essence, this was a transaction.

He needed those Faith Anchors.

"Good!" Sasriel nodded gently; he arranged a residence for Chumen and even gave him a piece of excellent territory directly.

However, not long after, before Chumen had even finished setting up his own territory, Sasriel brought important information.

"Lilith has brought the Blood Clan into the war, and the other Ancient Gods are also making moves, preparing to enter the fray."

Upon hearing this news, Chumen's expression also turned grave.

The Ancient Gods were entering the fray one after another; although the God War had not yet erupted, the war between subordinate gods and Angels had already begun.

In this era, the Ancient Gods were all clear on the function of an Anchor, and before the true God War broke out, shaking an Anchor was a very common means of warfare.

In an age where everyone was a madman, being a little crazier would not make you much stronger, but it would make you more prone to mistakes.

"You and Medici and the others shall set out together, heading to the Giant King's Court."

"As for your mission... do whatever you want to do."

Chumen also officially headed toward the Giant King's Court, which had already become the center of the Storm; come to think of it, he was the one who had stirred up this storm!
