Chapter 133: Detonation
All cities under the rule of Solomon will hold a grand sacrifice today to sacrifice to the great Emperor, and to formally announce and celebrate the establishment of the Empire.
All cities under Solomon's rule are suffused with a very excited atmosphere; it is not the influence of Beyonder powers, but the enthusiasm of the citizens, and even more so, the rhythm of the "Anchor".
Solomon is not bad to his citizens, and various protections are well in place, far better than in the City-State era, which makes the faith directed at the Emperor very stable and has had a very significant impact on Solomon's ritual.
When the Sun reaches the highest point in the sky, all cities simultaneously begin the grandest sacrificial ritual.
The Black Emperor Solomon also formally appears before the people, announcing the most important news in the capital of the Solomon Kingdom.
"From this day forward, my Solomon Empire is formally established! In the future, it will unify the North and South Continents and bring the brilliance of civilization to the world!"
"In the name of the Black Emperor Solomon..."
Solomon's majestic voice echoes in the minds of all Solomon citizens, making the people even more devout; prayers rise up, gathering like a torrent, drowning out everything.
Amidst the rising and falling sounds of prayer, everyone seems to be glowing; at this moment, the connection between the citizens, the Empire, and the Emperor is at its tightest.
"It has begun." Chumen walks out of the Duke's castle and glances at the Black Emperor Solomon, who is still giving his speech.
Solomon nods slightly to him, then disappears, entering a certain mausoleum to carry out the final step of the ritual to become a True God.
Chumen also roams away, heading toward the planned destination.
"Bang, bang, bang!" Countless portals open and close from the void; Bethel stands quietly in the Black Emperor's palace, opening Space Gates for all the Solomon Angels.
At this moment, all the Black Emperor's mausoleums are nearly united into one, reachable with a single step, which allows the strength of the Solomon Empire to condense into a single force, sufficient to deal with any accident.
Rumble!
A Lightning Storm appears; the most impatient Storm old pigeon appears, and the Angels of its Church attack the Black Emperor's mausoleum.
And this is the signal for a full-scale war; the Church of the "God of Knowledge and Wisdom" and the Church of the "Mother Goddess of Earth" enter the fray simultaneously, with the secret arts of knowledge and the brilliance of life striking at different mausoleums respectively.
"Go!" Bethel's expression is calm; without making any move himself, Angels pass through the opening and closing Space Gates, speeding to support all the mausoleums.
Zaratul, Alistair Tudor, Trensost, and even Antigonus are among them.
The Church has more Angels, but at the Sequence 1 level, they cannot compare to the Solomon Empire faction, except for the "Artisan" invited by the Church to join the battle.
That's right, it is the "Artisan".
He, at Sequence 1, holds the "Scroll of Civilization" and sweeps across the four directions, forcing Zaratul into a steady retreat—this is the "God of Knowledge and Wisdom" Church that the "Artisan" only agreed to after Chumen nodded.
The "Artisan" needs a big stage to showcase himself and continue certain schemes Chumen has for him.
As for the "Scroll of Civilization", those gods who know where it came from all remain silent about it.
"Combine!" The "Artisan" gives a light shout; the "Scroll of Civilization" transforms into a cloak that falls onto him, and behind him appears a "Mecha" crafted entirely from Magical Items.
This "Mecha" is dozens of meters tall, constructed entirely from the remains of a Giant; these remains have already combined with a Beyonder Characteristic to become a special Magical Item.
Behind it is a pair of wings made of wind and lightning, crafted from a "Sea King" Characteristic, and the giant sword in its hand is similar, coming from a "Weather Warlock".
Furthermore, there is the "Sage" armor, "Traveler" boots, and "Unshadowed" shield on its body.
Finally, there is his own Sequence 1 "Enlightener" and the "Scroll of Civilization".
All of this fuses perfectly, with the negative effects cleverly offset, constituting a "Mecha" at the level of a King of Angels.
"There is such a thing?" Bethel feels his horizons broadened and personally clears his hands to block this "Mecha".
As a King of Angels among Angels, his personal intervention naturally intercepts this "Mecha", and he can even maintain the smoothness of the Space Gates at the same time.
But for the "Artisan" to be able to hold back Mr. "Door", the "God of Knowledge and Wisdom" Church is already greatly surprised.
"Quick, destroy the mausoleum!" Many Church personnel take out some highly dangerous Magical Items, triggering natural disasters like earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
But all of this remains within a controllable range under the suppression of several Angels.
Bethel even takes action at one point to exile these dangerous items one by one.
Mr. "Door"'s power is revealed without doubt at this moment, almost achieving the feat of fighting on three fronts.
But precisely because he is too prominent, he will inevitably be targeted by a True God.
In the deepest hidden Black Emperor mausoleum, Solomon sits on the most magnificent throne, places the Black Emperor Crown on his head, and consumes the prepared Potion.
His body enters an extremely peculiar state; he has no physical form, as if he has lost the meaning of reality, becoming an Order Shadow.
This is his most vulnerable state; even a single Lightning Storm thrown by a Demigod would cause his ritual to become a True God to fail completely.
Solomon's own consciousness is expanding and extending into a wondrous state, and those nine mausoleums and his Empire are the Anchors that locate him in the void.
The faith and prayers of the Empire's citizens for the "Black Emperor" echo in Solomon's ears, constantly reminding him of his identity so he does not get lost in the crazy ravings.
But at a certain moment, Solomon, still in his most weakened state, turns his head stiffly and sees a verdant vine growing out from between the cracks of the stones in his mausoleum.
How could such a thing appear in the most hidden and majestic mausoleum?
"Mother Goddess of Earth!" Solomon's not-yet-stable self-consciousness calls out the honorific name of this deity.
Hum!
That vine instantly surges, as if it has become a Dragon swooping down.
But at this very moment, a Fallen Shadow emerges from the corner of Solomon's mausoleum, the Shadow Curtain pulls open, revealing the dark eyes within.
The power of two True Gods begins to ravage this Black Emperor mausoleum.
But that shadow suddenly condenses; a black figure seems to step out, reaching toward the vine, grabbing it and jumping together into the Astral World.
This mausoleum of the Black Emperor is preserved.
Solomon lets out a heavy sigh of relief; his thoughts are still dispersing, as if splitting into countless parts, falling into his Rules and merging into his Empire.
Before his consciousness must be fully committed to the ritual to maintain his self, Solomon takes one last look at the Astral World.
The things hidden there are far more than just two True Gods!
Solomon's ritual to become a True God becomes the fuse, detonating all the contradictions that have accumulated since the Era of Conflict!
