Chapter 139: The Delegation
"So it's my fault then?" Chumen said, unconcerned.
However, upon further thought, his side possessed the Black Emperor, Sasriel, the Sun, and himself; their power was indeed a bit too overwhelming. If the rest of the True Gods did not form an alliance, they certainly wouldn't be able to gain the slightest advantage against the Solomon Empire.
"If I weren't sitting here, I would certainly have participated deeply in the alliance," Lilith voiced her inner thoughts.
Facing such a powerful hostile alliance, self-preservation was an instinct.
"The key to the alliance is Adam," Amanises revealed another extremely crucial piece of information.
"Him again..." Chumen rolled his eyes directly and looked at Sasriel. "If I could, I would really like to go back to the Third Epoch and punch you twice."
This referred to Sasriel's original body, that second-generation Creator.
He had used the power of the Creator to make prophecies about the future countless times and had left these prophecies to Adam.
"This is a matter between the two of us; you shouldn't have interfered in the first place," Sasriel tapped his finger lightly on the round table.
Sasriel was still the more normal one; he had inherited the channels of the Dream Council and was already a True God, capable of calmly laying out plans and truly standing at the forefront of the historical tide.
"Whether it is you or Adam, they will not allow the Creator the possibility of resurrection and return," Amanises looked at Sasriel and spoke softly; this was the greatest point of conflict.
When it came down to it, even now, it was still a struggle over the "orthodoxy" of the Third Epoch Creator.
The "Emperor" had already died, and the ones with the most hope of inheriting the throne were the "Eldest Imperial Prince" and the "Administrator," while the other ministers wanted to completely nail down the "Emperor's" coffin lid so that the "Emperor" could never be born.
"And since you have taken a step ahead, Adam is their natural ally."
Within the Gods Alliance, Leodero and Herabogen found it difficult to ignore Adam, but the other True Gods would not allow anything to happen to Adam; he was the best means to hold Sasriel in check.
Balance is an art, and the gods had all done very well in this regard.
And Adam's utilization of this identity was exquisite to the extreme, facilitating the Gods Alliance.
"The Gods Alliance is still in its embryonic form for now; it might be completely finalized through the opportunity of Balam's founding," finally, Lilith revealed this news.
"Oh, coincidentally, I'll go over and take a look too," Chumen suddenly thought of that appointment letter that had once been sent to his Duke castle.
As long as he nodded, he could lead a delegation as the highest envoy of the Solomon Empire to attend Balam's founding ceremony.
"Very well, see you then," Lilith and Amanises both nodded, after which their figures disappeared from the Dream Kingdom.
Chumen and Sasriel also departed separately; a serious Dream Conference was always this brief.
After leaving the Dream Kingdom, Chumen directly retrieved that invitation letter and imprinted his mark upon it.
"I leave that side to you, Dream Duke," Solomon's voice came from the invitation letter; even after becoming a god, Solomon maintained full respect for Chumen.
"How could I miss such a fun thing?" Chumen chuckled, already feeling some anticipation.
However, because this was the first formal diplomatic activity between the two empires, it was impossible for Chumen to simply Roaming over there.
The North and South Continents were separated by a vast ocean, so a proper imperial delegation visit naturally involved traveling by ship.
In the Solomon Empire's delegation, besides Chumen, the one with the highest status was the new generation "Worm of Time," Pallez Zoroast.
The previous "Worm of Time" had fallen early in the founding war, which had caused the Zoroast Family to fall into chaos for a very long time.
But in the end, Pallez grew at the fastest speed, became the new generation "Worm of Time," swept away the family's decline, and regained its glory.
"This ship from the 'Storm Church' is still quite reliable," the new generation "Worm of Time" curiously observed the large ship beneath his feet and suddenly felt his hands itching.
In such a situation, he would feel embarrassed if he didn't "take" something while he was at it.
"Don't collapse the ship," Chumen lay on the large deck bed and glanced over in this direction.
"Oh!" Pallez immediately behaved; Chumen seemed to possess a natural mystical pressure over the "Gou Three Families," and not a single Beyonder of this Pathway could act tough in front of him.
"Ah, this Duke gentleman, may I hitch a ride?"
Chumen turned his head, and Pallez almost jumped up.
"Amon!" Pallez turned around abruptly, his body tense as he looked at Amon, who had appeared silently on the deck wearing a magic robe.
Amon lightly pinched his Monocle and looked at Pallez with great interest.
"Hello, Pallez, I have a premonition that many interesting things will happen between us."
Pallez held great hostility toward Amon, but Amon acted as if he hadn't seen it and walked right over.
Pallez raised his right hand reflexively, but with great willpower, he suppressed the urge to strike.
He simply couldn't beat Amon right now.
"What kind of mischief are you trying to stir up again?" Chumen looked at Amon speechlessly; he was truly daring to appear here.
This place was not far from the Solomon Empire, and Solomon had no good feelings toward the Adam-Amon brothers who had participated in sabotaging his godhood ritual; if he caught an opportunity, he would definitely give them a beating.
"How could I miss such a lively and interesting event?" Amon bypassed the slightly stiff Pallez and came to Chumen's side.
He carefully observed Chumen's custom-made lounge chair, then stole wood from the ship, built one for himself, and sat down next to Chumen.
"It's actually quite comfortable," Amon, blowing in the sea breeze, quickly adapted to this new seat.
"Are you here to snitch?" Chumen tapped his finger lightly, and the Amons hidden in the air were all pulled by an invisible force, surging back into Amon's body.
"I have no interest in participating in any of his plans; I'm just here to watch the show," Amon rubbed his body slightly and said with a smile.
"So many True Gods; I truly have never seen such a scene," Amon clicked his tongue in wonder.
Even back when they besieged the Ancient Sun God, only three gods had appeared.
"If they really start fighting, what kind of scene would that be?"
"I might have to go and break up the fight."
Amon pinched his Monocle, looking forward to such a scene.
"Since you are my teacher after all, I will try my best to save you; of course, if you can't be saved, it would be best to pass the Fantasy Land to me first."
"That way, I can perfectly bypass Bethel."
Chumen's face darkened; he couldn't help but snap his fingers, and the lounge chair beneath Amon turned directly into a rope, binding him and hoisting him up.
Amon's figure flickered, but he was unable to break free.
"Stay up there and sober up; is that any way to talk to your teacher?"
Chumen wasn't going to the Balam Empire to fight; after all, six True Gods were really a bit too many, and he hadn't become arrogant to that extent yet.
