Chapter 281: Prisoner (1)
The world suddenly underwent an autonomous change before Luo Qi; Luo Qi's ascent stopped, and he was trapped inside a hexagonal room. The room had no doors or windows, and the six walls were made of frosted glass. Light could filter in from outside the glass walls, but from the inside, it was impossible to see clearly what exactly was outside the room.
However, whether this was a glass room, a Crystal Coffin, or even a goldfish bowl did not matter; what mattered was that this environment was not designed by Luo Qi. Luo Qi had never had such an imagination; the hexagonal glass room was an imagination from another Yajian.
Luo Qi had been caught.
This was the first time Luo Qi had fallen into such a situation, and he could not help but feel some panic, as if he had fallen alone into deep, dark water. He had still been too careless, never having considered this scenario. The Alien creature was a powerful Telepathy creature her entire life and was extremely proficient in the control of the Mental Domain; she had likely deliberately indulged his intrusion, and after his main Yajian fell into memory fragments, she seized the opportunity to launch a counterattack.
If it were a Magic array composed of Mages, it would not be particularly dangerous right now. Because all individual Mages in a Magic array can engage in active behavior; if one were to compare it to human science, all the Mages in the array would be equivalent to a computer, with all computers running in parallel, where any workstation could switch to the host at any time, and the loss of any single Mage would not matter. But Luo Qi's situation was not like that; he was using Society Ghosts that lacked autonomous Yajian.
These Ghosts might look no different from living Mages, but in the end, they were all dead, puppets waiting for Luo Qi's commands. Now that Luo Qi was trapped, all the Society Ghosts would remain stationary because they could not receive commands. Those Ghosts that had originally been stationed by Luo Qi at various key nodes of the Alien Mental Network were all in a standby state, yet Luo Qi could not issue orders; his connection with the Society Ghosts had been severed by this virtual glass room.
What rotten luck.
Luo Qi paced around the glass room in vain; he must have imprisoned his own father, committed some heinous crime, and was now suffering retribution.
He used his tentacles to rub his Slime jelly face, so angry he could spit blood.
The only Mage currently in an active state was his father, but he hoped his father would be smart enough to run far away; he might be a veteran, but he was only one person and was no match for the Alien Mental Network.
Luo Qi thought as calmly as possible about what to do in this situation; he could not break out by relying on brute mental force, as he had already tried once. Perhaps he was not thick-skinned enough, and therefore his spirit was not tough enough?
He also recalled whether there was any book, or whose memory had recorded how to deal with this situation. But his brain, that of a poor student, was a blank slate, with nothing in it; his basic skills were not solid, and having only a half-baked understanding was the reason for his current plight. If something happened to him at this moment, then everything would truly be over. The little secret he had learned would once again become a secret. Even if Du Zhengyi exhausted his life in a few dozen seconds, the thing he would save with high-energy Magic would only be his walking corpse!
Damn it, just thinking about this made Luo Qi angry enough to come back from the dead.
From a technical perspective, there was limited action Luo Qi could take. Since the Queen had set a trap to imprison him, perhaps she would appear soon to talk to him. Luo Qi's thinking speed was still fast enough that he instantly thought about the possibility of cooperation between him and the Alien creature. Vaguely, he felt that they actually had a common enemy.
Just then, the hexagonal glass room underwent a subtle change. Luo Qi's heart tightened; he did not sense the approach of the main Yajian. The hexagonal glass room suddenly began to vibrate, and a high-pitched scream erupted abruptly. The screams became more numerous and the decibels higher, as if tens of thousands of Aliens were vibrating their sound membranes simultaneously.
Luo Qi began to scream; he covered the ears of his intangible body, but it was to no avail. He did not actually hear the sound; the Queen was directly stimulating his auditory nervous system. He screamed silently under the high-intensity noise; if he were in reality at this moment, his ears might already be bleeding.
