"He came looking for us first. We were only acting in self-defense!"

Wanda said.

"Self-defense? That excuse does not hold."

"He merely discovered your talent and wanted to recruit you into Kamar-Taj to study magic."

Karl said calmly.

"Are you telling the truth?"

Wanda asked.

"Of course I am telling the truth. Do I need to lie to you?"

"Think about it. If I wanted to do something to you, would the two of you be able to resist?"

Karl said with a smile.

Wanda thought about it.

That was true.

Karl's power was so great.

If he wanted to make a move, how could they resist?

Could it really be that they had misunderstood?
