Chapter 110: Natasha Captured & The Siberian Genetic Experiment Base
London. The Aftermath.
The psychological seed planted by Harry Osborn (via Vincent's telepathy) began to sprout in Peter Parker's mind.
Peter stood alone on the foggy street.
"A disposable lab rat?"
"Just a data point?"
Peter touched the scales hidden under his skin. He looked at his hands.
He wanted to dismiss Harry's words as a desperate ploy. But the logic was sound. Hydra had been strangely quiet during their duel.
Peter pulled out his communicator. "Dr. Connors. Status report."
"Return to base, Peter. We have enough data for Phase 3," Connors' voice was cold, clinical.
Peter's heart sank. Phase 3.
Oscorp Tower. New York.
The elevator doors opened.
Psylocke stepped out, her purple energy humming faintly around her, Excalibur strapped to her back.
Raven stood waiting, flanked by Sandi.
"Welcome to Oscorp, Lady Elizabeth Braddock. Or do you prefer Psylocke? Or Captain Britain?" Raven smiled professionally.
"Psylocke is fine. I'm here to apply for a job," Psylocke said, her tone guarded.
"A job? With a legendary sword on your back?" Raven raised an eyebrow.
"The world is dangerous. A girl needs protection."
"Fair enough. What position?"
"Executive Assistant to the Chairman. Or Head of Security," Psylocke said boldly.
Raven chuckled. "You aim high. Security is full. But the Chairman... he does like 'talented' assistants."
Raven walked closer, her eyes scanning Psylocke.
"But you should know, working for Vincent Hall requires absolute loyalty. And sometimes, personal sacrifices."
Psylocke narrowed her eyes. "I can handle him."
"We'll see. He's currently out. But I can process your application. Follow me."
As they walked to Raven's office, Psylocke scanned the building with her psychic senses.
She sensed immense power signatures.
Not just mutants. But raw, genetic power.
Oscorp wasn't just a company; it was a fortress of evolution.
Meanwhile, somewhere in Russia.
Siberia. The Winter Guard Base.
A woman with fiery red hair was dragged through a frozen corridor.
Natasha Romanoff. Black Widow.
She was battered, her stealth suit torn.
She had been on a mission for SHIELD (and secretly for Vincent) to investigate the source of the Winter Soldiers and the new "Super Mutants" appearing in Eastern Europe.
She found it.
A massive underground facility.
But she also walked into a trap.
"Tie her up."
A man with a metal arm stepped forward. The Winter Soldier (Bucky Barnes). But his eyes weren't blank. They were sharp, intelligent... and controlled by something else.
Behind him stood a figure in a green and yellow armored suit.
Dr. Octopus (Otto Octavius of this timeline/Hydra branch).
"Excellent specimen. A Red Room graduate. Her genes are pristine," Doc Ock sneered, his mechanical arms inspecting Natasha.
"Fury will find you," Natasha spat blood.
"Fury is busy dealing with the Ice Demon in New York. He has no eyes here," Ock laughed.
"We need her genetic material. Combine it with the Spider samples we got from London," Ock ordered.
Natasha's eyes widened. Spider samples?
"Yes. We are creating the perfect hybrid. The Spider-Widow. Or perhaps... something more primal."
Ock pressed a button.
A tank illuminated in the back.
Inside floated a creature. Humanoid, but with massive bat wings and grey skin.
A Vampire.
"Hydra doesn't just rely on science, my dear. We embrace the supernatural too. The blood of the Ancients combined with the Super Soldier Serum."
Natasha realized the scale of the threat.
Hydra wasn't just infiltrating SHIELD. They were building an army of monsters in the snow.
Suddenly, Natasha's hidden earpiece buzzed. A frequency only she could hear.
It wasn't SHIELD.
[Vincent Hall: "Natasha. You owe me a favor. Do you want to use it now?"]
Natasha froze.
He knew. He always knew.
"Yes," she whispered.
New York. Oscorp.
Vincent sat in his office (he had teleported back while Psylocke was with Raven).
He smiled.
"Time to go to Russia. I haven't killed any Hydra heads today. It feels incomplete."
He stood up.
Psylocke walked in with Raven.
"Chairman, this is your new applicant," Raven introduced, suppressing a smirk.
Vincent looked at Psylocke.
The purple hair. The sword. The dangerous curves.
"Captain Britain. What an honor," Vincent said, walking around his desk.
Psylocke tensed. His presence was overwhelming. Like standing next to a nuclear reactor.
"I'm here to work," she lied.
"Good. Because we have a business trip. Pack your bags, Psylocke. We're going to Siberia."
"Siberia?" Psylocke blinked.
"Yes. To pick up a stray cat. And burn down a Hydra base. Consider it your interview."
Vincent grabbed Psylocke's shoulder.
He didn't use a jet.
He didn't use a portal.
He just moved.
Super Flight.
BOOM.
The sonic boom shattered the windows of Oscorp (again).
Psylocke screamed as she was dragged through the atmosphere at Mach 10.
They were in Russia in minutes.
Siberia.
The Hydra base alarms screamed.
"Incoming object! Speed... impossible! It's a meteor!"
Doc Ock looked at the radar. "No... that's a man."
CRASH.
The ceiling of the underground bunker exploded.
Ice and debris rained down.
Vincent floated down, holding a dizzy, frozen Psylocke.
He dropped her gently.
"Kill everyone with a gun. Leave the tentacles to me," Vincent ordered her.
Psylocke drew Excalibur, her warrior instincts taking over despite her confusion.
Vincent looked at the Winter Soldier and Doc Ock.
"Hello, boys. You touched my property."
He looked at Natasha, tied to the chair.
"Demon!" Doc Ock unleashed his arms.
Vincent didn't move.
His eyes glowed red.
Heat Vision.
Four beams of light sliced through the air.
Doc Ock's mechanical arms were severed instantly. Molten metal dripped onto the snow.
"AAHHH!" Ock screamed.
The Winter Soldier charged, rifle raised.
Vincent simply breathed.
Freeze Breath.
Bucky was frozen mid-stride, encased in a block of diamond-hard ice.
Vincent walked over to Natasha.
He burned the ropes with a precise laser gaze.
Natasha fell into his arms, shivering.
"You came."
"I collect my debts," Vincent smiled.
He looked at the Vampire tank in the back.
"Disgusting."
He raised a hand.
Flame Flame Fruit.
A massive fireball, like a miniature sun, formed in his hand.
"Burn it all."
He tossed the sun.
The Siberian base was instantly vaporized.
Psylocke watched in horror and awe as the Ice Demon commanded fire like a god.
Intel was wrong. He's not just Ice. He's everything.
