Chapter 113: If You Want to Follow Me, You Must Be My Woman
The two of them found that old spark.
Reuniting after a long separation was sweeter than a honeymoon.
Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff, was gasping for air.
Her brain was lacking oxygen.
"Your stamina is lacking. When we get back to Oscorp, find Raven and have her inject you with the Super Soldier Serum."
Vincent's voice carried a commanding tone.
Natasha nodded shyly.
"Now, Ms. Romanoff, our battle begins."
Vincent smiled brilliantly, like a master hunter looking down at his prey.
The beauty in his arms looked like a little white rabbit, showing a hint of nervousness.
A moment later, the Sling Ring opened a portal.
After they left, a bald woman in yellow monk robes appeared where Vincent had just stood.
"His magical talent is truly astonishing. Just from the residual imprint on the Sling Ring, he sensed it effortlessly and opened a portal using his own water magic."
The Ancient One praised.
She looked upon Vincent with admiration.
With her thousand-year-old gaze, she knew exactly what kind of person Vincent was.
Decisive. Ruthless.
He struck when he needed to. Never hesitated.
"For a thousand years, Hydra has cycled through death and rebirth. Their ideology is truly like grass—cut it down, and it grows back in the spring."
The world thought Hydra rose in WWII.
But the Ancient One knew Hydra had existed for millennia. One of the oldest organizations on Earth.
Though modern Hydra differed greatly from the past, the extremist ideology remained.
"Giving him the Sling Ring... I wonder if it was right or wrong."
The Ancient One sighed.
She knew Vincent was Chinese.
Chinese people valued repaying debts of gratitude.
Giving him the Sling Ring was the Ancient One's way of befriending him, accumulating good karma for the lineage of the Sorcerer Supreme.
It was a necessary move.
If she had fought him, she could have sealed him in the Mirror Dimension.
But New York would have been destroyed in the process. And she might have died before her successor (Strange) appeared.
Building good relations was beneficial for Kamar-Taj.
But with the Sling Ring, Vincent was no longer restricted by geography. In his hands, it would unleash unimaginable power.
"The only comfort is that he never kills innocents."
Those who died by his hand had clear targets.
This meant Vincent controlled his power; he wouldn't lose control.
She had seen a chaotic future.
The timeline was venturing into the unknown.
The only hope for humanity's survival was the birth of a true superhero who could protect Earth from extinction.
The Ancient One worried if Vincent would use the Sling Ring to cause trouble. Would people think the Ice Demon was part of Kamar-Taj?
"The only thing that can restrain him is women."
The Ancient One sighed again.
Luckily, he had this vice. Otherwise, he might have become a cold-blooded monster, a true demon.
Long Island Villa.
"Long Island?!"
Natasha looked at Vincent in surprise.
She walked to the window.
Overlooking the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.
Having been imprisoned, she smiled with relief and joy.
"New York air is better. Siberia was truly my place of suffering."
Black Widow didn't hide her past.
Vincent looked at Natasha by the window. Her perfect, round curves made his appetite surge.
"I thought you went to Siberia to settle scores with your old employers. I didn't know you were targeting Hydra's gene lab."
He walked up behind her.
The soft elasticity was amazing.
Natasha didn't notice.
"You mean the Red Room? I'm SHIELD now. The Red Room won't trouble me for a while. Besides, I fear that place. I don't want to step back in."
"Perhaps your extraordinary past made you the extraordinary person you are now. You've done well, Natasha. Joining SHIELD was the right choice."
Vincent comforted her.
"You don't need to persuade me. I know your intentions. But warm words like that shouldn't come from your mouth."
Natasha turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck again.
Her red lips were fiery and sexy.
"Then what should I say?"
"Ha. I hope for your tough attitude. The sense of conquest brought by your immense power. That is the man Black Widow acknowledges. Only that kind of man gives me security."
Natasha's eyes were misty.
During her time away, she thought a lot.
The Vatican incident wasn't why she left.
The real reason was she realized she was being conquered by this man, bit by bit. The Ice Demon was warming her frozen heart.
She was falling.
She was conflicted—was it love or worship?
Regardless, she feared falling in love with the Ice Demon.
Feared being unable to leave him.
Vincent wasn't just her man.
Even if he liked her, she couldn't replace Gwen's position.
Gwen was the woman Vincent truly loved. The one who occupied the high ground of his heart.
Natasha was a woman; she could feel it.
But in that Siberian cell, she didn't think of SHIELD. She thought of Vincent.
She even subconsciously relied on his promise to save her.
"Ms. Romanoff, I now believe you are my loyal fan."
Vincent's eyes burned with heat.
"Of course. Can my Author-sama take me into the world of his novel?"
"As your Guardian Knight, I cannot refuse the Princess's request."
Vincent smirked.
He would satisfy such a request.
He wanted to see Natasha's limit.
Today, he would conquer her completely.
It was funny. Among so many women, only Maria Hill was truly conquered.
Raven was close.
Natasha was just one step away.
The mind is a strange place.
He stumbled into the depths of Hill's heart by accident. Perhaps because Hill was too serious and pure about love, her defenses weren't as strong as Natasha's or Raven's.
"Come on. Let me see if your execution is as sharp as your writing!"
Natasha laughed seductively.
"Ha. Looks like I need to use some techniques."
Hydra Headquarters (Unknown Location).
Baron Strucker looked at the reports of the ruined base.
Anger twisted his face.
Alexander Pierce (Eugene in text, likely Pierce) stood beside him, smoking a cigar. His cold eyes terrified everyone.
This tycoon of the empire, secretly a top Hydra leader, had eaten a bitter loss on his doorstep.
"The gene base is buried 100 meters underground. Excavation is difficult. All our data backups were there," Pierce said, breaking the silence.
"It was our most important secret base. Closed data loop. No external exposure possible," a scientist said bitterly.
"Our permanent underground fortress was destroyed easily. Not even a distress signal got out. The intruder had signal jamming tech."
"But we detected a temperature anomaly in the region. 20 degrees lower than ambient!!!"
Staring at the frozen ruins report.
Baron Strucker clenched his fists. "Peter Parker!!!"
"He exposed our location. The enemy found the base through his signal. Decades of work, destroyed. But the monster legion we bred is enough for us to rise again in genetics."
Strucker's heart bled, but he encouraged his men.
As a Hydra Head, he felt the doubt from within the organization.
He had mobilized Hydra forces in the US to target Oscorp.
But back then, they weren't 100% sure Vincent was the Ice Demon.
"Peter led the Ice Demon to Siberia. This god-like demon will vent his anger on Hydra. The Ice Demon is now our enemy!!!"
Strucker was smart.
He thought of the London gene test.
Hydra vs. Oscorp tech. Peter had the advantage then.
But now, Oscorp won.
Even if Hydra had the formula, replicating the serum would take 3-10 years.
Oscorp was now the global leader.
Strucker successfully shifted the blame.
"Pierce, we need a new base. I want no disturbances."
"Rest assured, Baron. I will find a suitable location."
Pierce didn't like Strucker's tone, but he needed Strucker's genius. Strucker was a strategic scientist comparable to Red Skull.
"Oscorp won this round. But the final victory belongs to Hydra."
"Hail Hydra!!!"
Long Island Villa.
Vincent looked at the red scratch marks on Natasha's white back.
He smiled with satisfaction.
But he needed to restrain himself. Addiction leads to psychological issues.
He didn't wake her.
He left the garage key for her.
Julia often stayed here, so the garage was stocked.
Long Island was his favorite property. Gwen rarely came here, so he didn't worry about collisions.
Oscorp Tower.
"Raven, I've waited long enough. When will Mr. Hall return?"
Psylocke stared at Raven.
Raven, in a deep-V suit, looked back calmly. "Elizabeth, Mr. Hall is out on business. He doesn't report his itinerary to me."
Raven's tone was cold.
Psylocke's goal was obvious. Her previous story was a lie. She was a spy infiltrating Oscorp.
"You should know, Raven, I joined Oscorp for the Ice Demon. If I can't see him, I'll leave."
Psylocke issued an ultimatum.
Bring her to my office.
Vincent's voice appeared in Raven's mind.
"Psylocke, Oscorp values you. Mr. Hall is in his office. Sandi will take you there."
Raven smiled.
Psylocke was stunned.
She hadn't sensed Vincent's return.
She could sense mutant power levels. She had investigated Oscorp and knew about the Super Soldiers.
Knock knock.
Vincent sat on the sofa, legs crossed, arms spread.
Sandi entered. "Boss, Captain Britain is here."
"I know, Sandi. Leave us."
Vincent smirked.
Psylocke walked in proudly, observing this demon who terrified the US.
"Elizabeth. Your arrival surprises me."
Vincent admired her explosive figure. Truly a masterpiece of creation.
"Why do you say that, Mr. Hall?"
"You wandered New York for days. You were the only woman I spared. I thought you'd go back to England, not join Oscorp."
Psylocke sat opposite him, crossing her long, sexy legs.
Straight, round, powerful. Scissor legs that could snap a waist.
"Spared me? No. I dodged your attack."
Psylocke sneered.
"Don't you know the Omega Beams lock onto the target until death?" Vincent leaned forward, pressuring her. "No. I should say, that was the first time I used it. You wouldn't know."
Psylocke tensed.
Danger.
"I didn't join the attack to destroy Oscorp. I joined to get intel."
Psylocke confessed under pressure.
"I know. That's why the second beam didn't kill you."
Psylocke took a deep breath. "Let's be direct."
"Speak."
"I need slots for the Super Soldier Serum. Can you provide it to England? We can pay!!!"
Psylocke realized her cover was blown. Vincent treated her like a spy.
"You are an employee. There are hidden benefits. But mutants in Oscorp Security have one characteristic: They are all my women. So, Raven keeping you here... likely implies that."
Vincent's gaze was hot. Unhidden.
Psylocke lowered her head, thinking for a long time.
"Defeat me, and I'm yours. I only submit to the strong!!!"
