Chapter 118: Life Orb and Dread Plate

The feeling of gratitude came from the stone tablet, and the signature made Xiang Guangtai's eyes widen slightly.

This name, somewhat familiar... should be in the game...

Some fragmented strange fragments flashed in his mind, but soon disappeared without a trace. Xiang Guangtai suddenly felt a headache, and at the same time, Giratina's Ghost power took over the root of his spiritual power and stabilized Xiang Guangtai's mental state!

I really didn't expect that the irritable guy Giratina would come to stabilize my mental state!

【"Your soul is not very stable. Memories that shouldn't exist have appeared... but don't worry, this should be a normal phenomenon."】

Giratina's whisper sounded in his soul. Xiang Guangtai didn't understand what Giratina meant by this sentence.

Why is it normal for things that don't exist to appear?

As expected of the master of the Distortion World, I can't understand what he says.

【"If I say it out now..."】 Giratina felt the confusion in Xiang Guangtai's soul. Its whisper was deliberating, but it still told Xiang Guangtai, not acting like a riddle dragon.

【"If the past is rewritten, such things will happen. The time node is wrong, but this is not a field I am good at, so it is not easy to say more."】

The remaining half of the sentence was not said. Giratina felt that if it talked nonsense about time issues, if it made a mistake, it would lose its face!

That would be terrible. I am the ruler of the Distortion World, a huge shadow on the back of the world. Losing face in front of my soul contact person—how many reasons would I need to make up for it!

It's all Dialga's problem, messing around with time travel. That guy hasn't done this kind of thing for the first time!

Past rewritten?

Xiang Guangtai thought of one thing, that is, it appeared in the theatrical version "Arceus and the Jewel of Life." When Arceus wanted to destroy the world because of anger, it was Dialga who sent Ash and the others back to the past a thousand years ago, rewriting the history of Michina, thereby changing the future.

The white stone tablet in front of him suddenly emitted a faint light. Xiang Guangtai stepped back a little, and the Pokémon around him and Steven stared at the changes in the stone tablet without blinking.

"Younon!"

Dusknoir was excited!

The soul is about to wake up!

My work can finally be completed!

Its big hand held Xiang Guangtai's small hand and shook it up and down vigorously, expressing its gratitude. And accompanied by a wisp of ghost fire surging out from the stone tablet, the flame turned into a blurry little girl.

Soul manifestation, but the appearance was a bit unclear. She wore ancient costumes, and the style was somewhat similar to Celebi's color. The girl looked at Xiang Guangtai, first stunned, then smiled happily.

【Write words on the white stone, and you can accurately convey your gratitude to your friends...】

【The person I am most grateful to is Xiang Guangtai.】

At this time, Xiang Guangtai also gradually remembered!

Yulin, isn't that the soul sealed in the Odd Keystone in "Pokémon Legends: Arceus"!

Odd Keystone is the stone that seals Spiritomb. Spiritomb is a Pokémon generated by gathering 108 souls. It seems that there are evil souls mixed in it. It is an evil thing brought by evil thoughts. It always does all kinds of evil, but one day its body was bound to the Odd Keystone by magical spells to prevent it from doing evil again.

And in the entire Pokémon world, all Spiritomb are suspected to be sealed by a legendary traveler who can use magical spells! In the animation, that is a Wave-guiding hero with Pikachu.

However, the soul sealed in the Odd Keystone is not all evil. Yulin is a normal girl's soul. In the Hisui era, the giant Spiritomb ran out of the giant Odd Keystone in the Shrouded Ruins. Yulin entered Jubilife Village to seek help from the protagonist, collected 108 wisps, and subdued Spiritomb again.

But that happened in the Hisui region!

Why did Yulin, one of the 108 souls, appear in Celestic?

And her clothes are different from the game!

"Do you know me? Why do you want to thank me?"

Xiang Guangtai asked the ghost girl in front of him in disbelief, and Yulin tilted her head, seemingly understanding something.

【So that's how it is... although I saw you, you don't know me yet.】

【But even so, you are still you. I want to thank you... thank you for giving me a new life.】

【You must be very confused why I appeared here.】

【Because I was originally from Celestic.】

In the background setting of the story, Yulin once said that the Spiritomb that bound her had caused disaster in Hisui hundreds of years ago, and was later sealed by the spells of a legendary traveler.

And now, she said she was originally from Celestic—that is to say, Yulin is also a Celestic person!

"Celestic dispersed, returned to Hisui, and then died..." Xiang Guangtai realized something.

Between a thousand years ago and seven hundred years ago, the people of Celestic gradually disappeared, making Johto return to Johto and Hisui return to Hisui.

And some of the Celestic people who migrated across the sea back to Hisui founded the Diamond Clan or the Pearl Clan, and began to believe in Dialga and Palkia, losing their true faith in Arceus.

【... I am waiting here, just wanting to thank you... wanting to see you again.】

Yulin looked at Dusknoir:

【That thing... is it in your hand? Thank you for keeping it for me. Now, it's time to return it.】

"Younon?!"

Dusknoir realized something at this time. It reached its big hand into the mouth of its belly and took out a red bead!

"That is?!" Steven saw the bead and recognized it instantly!

That is a special mineral that is extremely rare in nature. The cause of its formation is still a mystery. Devon Corporation also tried to make it artificially, but the result was not ideal!

Steven: "This is a Life Orb! It's a very precious stone!"

Dusknoir handed the red bead to Xiang Guangtai and explained to Regirock that the Scyther before had heard that there was a bead with magical power here, so it ran over to steal it. What it guarded was this red bead discovered near this tombstone.

【Precious Material: Life Orb.】

【Description: A bead pregnant with powerful life force. It is said to be a crystal formed by the soul of a human or Pokémon. Similar crystals occasionally appear in nature. After carrying it, although HP will decrease slightly each time you attack, the power of moves will increase!】

Xiang Guangtai felt that there seemed to be incredible life fluctuations in this bead, and Yulin smiled at him.

【I'm leaving. This is the life you left me back then. I'm returning it to you again.】

【Thank you, Xiang Guangtai.】

Yulin hugged Xiang Guangtai, waved her hand in Xiang Guangtai's bewildered expression, and Dusknoir held her palm, emitting a radio wave that the task was completed.

At the same time, Dusknoir also looked at Xiang Guangtai and reminded him!

"Younon! You... non!"

Although you are very powerful, I don't know if I should say something... forget it, let's say it!

Dusknoir's eyes flashed with strange red light:

"Younon~"

Although your soul has a close connection with the ruler of the Distortion World, the nature of your spiritual power is too similar to the Spirit Realm. So, be careful of the attraction of the Spirit Realm in your daily work!

Although I am a worker in the Spirit Realm, the Spirit Realm itself has a certain malice towards the present world. This is the natural opposition between life and death. Some vicious Pokémon and souls that escaped from the Spirit Realm will also make trouble around Spirit Mediums with abnormal souls, so be careful!

Don't be lost and attracted by the power of the Spirit Realm, and fall into the Spirit Realm!

There are a few more things!

Dusknoir dug into its belly and took out a Reaper Cloth, but this cloth seemed to wrap something.

"Younon~"

Dusknoir indicated that as a thank you, it would give this stone slab it obtained from this cemetery to Xiang Guangtai.

After all, this stone slab is also a relic of Celestic. Now that the task is completed, since Xiang Guangtai is the person the soul here is waiting for, there is no need for it to carry this stone slab anymore.

And the Reaper Cloth is also a thank-you gift, but it wants to exchange these cloths for Xiang Guangtai's charms!

After saying that, it pointed to Doublade who was bewildered on the side!

Dusknoir saw the effect of Xiang Guangtai's Cleanse Tags! It is thinking, if it can get those charms, wouldn't its performance directly take off?

So, using some Spirit Realm materials to exchange for those precious charms is a very fair deal, right!

Xiang Guangtai took the item wrapped in the Reaper Cloth!
