Chapter 119: Secret Power

【Goodbye... friend.】

Yulin's soul gradually blurred and finally turned into the purple ghost fire familiar in Xiang Guangtai's memory.

Dusknoir's belly opened, sucking Yulin's ghost fire in, and waved at Xiang Guangtai.

Goodbye, powerful human!

Next time I will bring some Spirit Realm materials to exchange for your charms!

"Yoomoo~" Doublade took off the charms on its body and stuffed them all to Dusknoir, making Dusknoir very happy!

With these charms that can lead people to rebirth, my work progress can immediately throw my peers far behind!

After I get promoted and get a raise in the future, I will definitely take care of you! If you die, I will open a VIP channel for you to let you reincarnate quickly!

Doublade (speechless eyes): "..."

What are you talking about! I don't want this kind of care!

A blurry space-time vortex appeared behind Dusknoir. That is the entrance to the Spirit Realm. As a civil servant of the Spirit Realm, Dusknoir can freely open these entrances, and then its figure gradually faded and disappeared!

"I saw incredible things." Steven walked up and sighed, looking at the place where Dusknoir disappeared.

Although Phoebe, one of the Elite Four, often said that there are ghosts around everyone, Steven had never seen them before. This time, it can be considered an eye-opener.

And there is the stone of gratitude that can preserve the soul and convey the will to the distant years. How exactly is it formed? Steven's heart was full of excitement, looking at the tombstone and the white stones that could be seen around.

As for why the ghost girl thanked Xiang Guangtai, Steven didn't want to ask too much. After all, this is Xiang Guangtai's private matter. Steven didn't hear the words of Yulin just now because he had no spiritual power.

He just thought secretly in his heart:

"Mr. Xiang Guangtai really has a rich past. Some people cannot judge their experiences by age. Celestic is a secret place. Many things that are incredible to the outside world may have happened here."

Thus, Steven also slightly understood why Xiang Guangtai could master so many special abilities.

Speaking of which, it really feels like meeting a hidden NPC in a game!

As expected of the secret craftsman of Celestic, even the messengers of the Spirit Realm hope to buy products from his hands. And how to say... since I came here, the Pokémon I have seen are very different from the Pokémon in the outside world.

They are all very... wise!

As for the Life Orb, this kind of precious gem, its formation reason has always been unknown in the past. Now, Steven basically understands it.

It is a crystal of soul and life.

Perhaps not only humans, but the souls and lives of Pokémon can also form similar things, which is why this kind of gem is so precious.

Speaking of which... I have discovered similar beads before.

"Is the Life Orb of the same composition as the Mystery Crystal."

When Steven went to the Fossil Discussion Conference in Pewter City before, it was actually because a magical crystal was discovered there. Under the analysis of rock experts in Pewter City, it was learned that the beautiful and elegant stone crystal was actually an item named "Soul Dew"!

That is a special crystal formed by the soul of Latias or Latios! It can make the potential power of Latias and Latios be fully exerted, and their souls can resonate with Soul Dew!

"Solved another mystery of a stone! No, it should be two!"

And apart from the Life Orb and the Bai Shi of Gratitude, Steven looked at the deep-colored stone slab and also showed a curious look.

Speaking of which, it seems that I saw a similar deep red slab in the workshop before, placed under the computer, but because it had no features, I thought it was a common stone product, so I didn't pay much attention to it.

Looking at it this way, it seems that I have seen similar things in the homes of some rock fanatics when I was excavating stones before.

Xiang Guangtai looked at the Life Orb and then at the Dread Plate, lost in thought.

If it is a rewriting of the past, perhaps it is because I obtained a certain knowledge that can help Yulin break free from the binding of Spiritomb, or maybe I returned to the more distant past under some circumstances.

Time travel, this kind of thing is not uncommon in the Pokémon world, and in many events, even time travel itself is a destined link for a certain history to happen.

Whether it is the change of the timeline in the Hoenn region in the special chapter, or Pryce once shuttled through time fragments, or in the animation, Professor Oak, Ash, and the others have all experienced the same thing.

Also, the true function of the Bai Shi of Gratitude—I didn't expect it to be used to make the Azure Flute!

The sculptures of the gods on the Celestic mountain path in the Hisui era, according to Giratina, might also have been carved using the Bai Shi of Gratitude. And if so, the Azure Flute, as a mysterious craft passed down from ancient times, can summon the descendants of ten hero Pokémon—this matter can also be explained.

"Let us meet again in the future."

Xiang Guangtai murmured, left the tombstone, and then came to the surroundings, touching a larger white stone.

This is the unused Stone of Gratitude. The ancient people of Celestic built a cemetery near these stones, and what they expected is self-evident.

Regirock went up, moved this Stone of Gratitude, and then led everyone to the flower garden near the cemetery.

The garden is surrounded by stones, the trees here are relatively sparse, and it is on a hill where the sun can shine on the flowers in the garden. The surrounding trees seem to deliberately avoid this garden.

"This is Gracidea." Steven also recognized these flowers. They are sold in flower shops in the Hoenn region. Although Gracidea is a precious and rare flower, it is not difficult to cultivate artificially.

Unlocked "Celestic Cemetery", "Ancient Garden"!

Because it was getting late, Xiang Guangtai let Lilligant pick some flowers here, then dug some soil from the garden, and then everyone left the Celestic Forest.

Steven was quite happy about this trip to Celestic. Not only did he figure out the formation reason of the Life Orb, but he also got the Stone of Gratitude that he had never seen before. At the same time, Steven also specifically asked about the stone slab

Unlocked "Sinnoh Graveyard" and "Ancient Garden"!

Since it was getting late, Guang Tai let Miss Roserade pick some flowers from here, then dug up some of the garden's soil, after which everyone left the Sinnoh Forest.

Steven was quite happy with this trip to Sinnoh; not only did he figure out the cause of the Life Orb's formation, but he also obtained a Gracidea he had never seen before. At the same time, Steven specifically asked about the Plates.

Guang Tai gave a simple answer, stating that these are special items capable of enhancing Pokémon's abilities, but because the manufacturing method is very unique, even he himself cannot produce them and cannot hand them over to the Devon Corporation for research for the time being. Regarding this type of item, Sinnoh Champion Cynthia would know more.

Upon hearing this, Steven expressed his understanding. The Devon Corporation is not the type of partner to be greedy; for these items that clearly have special functions and origins, Steven would naturally not force the issue.

As for where to rest for the night, although the workshop is not large, sleeping two people is no problem, but the only vacant room is the fourth Ghost Room. Steven smiled and said not to worry.

"No need to worry about my accommodation. Since I often work in the wild, I have a special move that can help me. If you don't mind, I plan to stay there."

Steven looked at that huge "Oak Tree" not far from the workshop!

Guang Tai was a bit puzzled; was Steven going to set up a tent under the tree?

"What are you going to do?"

"It's very simple! Metagross, use 'Secret Power'!"

Steven pointed to the oak tree sprouted by Celebi. Metagross's eyes condensed intense elemental energy. Although this move is Normal-type, it produces different elemental changes depending on the terrain. Furthermore, if Secret Power is used on special large trees, grass patches, or rock caves, it will produce special changes!

Steven smiled: "Do you know about Super Secret Bases? Let me teach this move to your Pokémon too!"
