Chapter 259: Become a new friend, Landorus!

Magic, isn't it amazing!

Of course, for Caitlin, a Psychic, it is indeed very incredible, but for Landorus, the attack just now had angered it!

Although it was already in a state of extreme anger! In a state of extreme anger... angry for a whole day!

【Entralink Quest: Help the god buried in the desert!】

【Reward: Release Orb x4, Bountiful Soil x10, Sun Ray x1, Bountiful Blessing x?, Unknown Badge x?, Unique Move TM (Fissure/Sandsear Storm/Extrasensory)!】

【Description: Landorus, the god of bounty hidden in the Ancient Castle, has become furious due to the intrusion of ancient spiritual power. Why is the ancient spirit angry? What is releasing a signal that makes it furious in the Ancient Castle? Defeat or soothe Landorus, and find the room condensed by the ancient spirit!】

Since it was knocked to the ground, Landorus took the opportunity to slap both hands on the ground!

Earth Power!

Release Earth Power under the opponent's feet. Sometimes lowers the opponent's Special Defense!

Landorus releases a shockwave to the ground, creating stone pillars and the breath of the earth to attack the opponent, making the ground under the opponent's feet shake violently! This move made the entire Ancient Castle seem to shake, and the first thought in Xiang Guangtai's mind at this time was...

The quality of this ancient city is really good. Does the floor not collapse when using moves like this?

And Torterra received Xiang Guangtai's telepathic order. The small tree on its back shook violently, and countless flying grass blades rotated and broke through the air!

Razor Leaf!

Facing the Grass-type attack, Landorus, who was knocked to the ground, set up a light green light shield to block it, but Torterra's attack could not stop easily. The ancient god clearly didn't understand this point, so Torterra opened its mouth.

Bullet Seed!

More violent Bullet Seed stormed out like a storm towards the front. Landorus's light shield burst, the time for Protect passed, and it was suppressed head-on by the infinite rapid-fire Bullet Seed. However, as a high-level sub-legendary Pokémon with independent legends, it is clearly impossible to be defeated so easily.

Not to mention that it showed great power in the animation, and fought 50/50 with Cynthia's ace Garchomp!

Thus, under the amplification of the ancient spirit like a surging sea, Landorus directly topped the infinite rapid-fire Bullet Seed, clapped its hands, and...

Stone Edge!

A large amount of sharp rocks were created out of thin air, confronting the Bullet Seed, and Landorus, as if crazy, used all its power to output violently regardless of the cost, quickly blocking Torterra's "Razor Leaf + Bullet Seed" rapid-fire offensive!

"It's time for a group fight! That's it, suppress it!"

Xiang Guangtai threw three Poké Balls directly!

Aegislash, Lilligant, Riolu!

"Lilligant, Defog!"

Clear the Stealth Rock first!

Light wind rotated around, and the dance of flight hit the stealth rocks floating in mid-air!

"Woo!"

Although Landorus was in a state of rage, it was also startled to see a group of Pokémon rushing towards it!

Don't you fight one by one?

The muscle brain controlled by the ancient spirit couldn't think at all at this time, but at least... can't let these Pokémon attack itself!

Thus, Landorus clapped its hands again, and a large sandstorm was generated on the spot, turning into a scorching hot quicksand hurricane!

Sandsear Storm, use scorching sand and strong wind to attack the opponent. Sometimes causes the opponent to be burned!

Regardless, let's hang a batch of negative BUFFs on you first!

"Ge!"

Aegislash directly raised its giant shield, facing the scorching storm, and opened the "King's Stance" on the spot!

Shining golden lightning leaped, turning Aegislash into a golden giant sword. In the defensive state, it ignores the impact of any move from the opponent and reduces all incoming damage by 50%!

Then, King's Shield!

Lilligant and Riolu hid behind Aegislash's giant shield. The cold air of ice appeared on Lilligant's leaves, and Riolu's Aura was already ready to go!

The Sandsear Storm trapped the three Pokémon. Landorus drew power from the surrounding earth and finally flew back into the high sky. And this time, the target was very clear, bypassing the infinite rapid-fire machine gun bullets, and rushed directly towards Xiang Guangtai!

Must not let those strange magic little branches shoot me down again! Landorus's brain controlled by the ancient spirit only had this one thought!

A huge orange-yellow energy arm was raised high!

Hammer Arm!

Swing a powerful and heavy fist to deal damage to the opponent. Your speed will be lowered by one stage!

Wild Pokémon will attack Trainers. Some of them are also very smart, knowing that as long as the Trainer falls, many Pokémon will lose their command and fall into chaos!

However, Xiang Guangtai is not an ordinary Trainer!

That orange-yellow energy arm smashed down, shaking up a shockwave on the ground, but it stopped in mid-air!

Xiang Guangtai dropped the Pinwheel Forest Branch and blocked this "Hammer Arm" with both hands!

"Ladong?!"

Landorus widened its eyes, unable to believe that its move was blocked by a human!

No, are you a human!

And the situation Xiang Guangtai showed, Landorus was suddenly intimidated by this "aura" and "power"!

It appeared to flinch and panic. Even though it was still in a state of anger, it still produced feelings of fear!

This is the moment when the knowledge from the hero is activated!

"Hey!"

At this moment of pause, a projectile had already flown out of the Sandsear Storm!

Aura Sphere!

The Aura from the stars will increase the damage to any Pokémon by 1.2 times. If the opponent has a stat-boosting effect, it will cause an additional 1.5 times damage!

Even though Landorus's type resists Fighting, it still swayed in mid-air after being hit by this Aura Sphere. And next, Lilligant's attack had already arrived!

Triple Axel!

Cover feet with thin ice and spin to hit the opponent. Destroy the field through the rotating action!

This cold dance of ice kicked Landorus accurately and elegantly, and the latter was knocked down from mid-air again. The 4x weakness to Ice made it unable to withstand this attack at all. Even though the growth rates of the two sides were very different, it still caused no small damage!

"Ladong!"

Hoo!

The spiritual power of the fourth floor suddenly rose. Landorus gathered the boundless powerful spiritual power, and then, a strong pink radiance filled its hands!

"Extrasensory!"

Caitlin screamed. Although he also wanted to participate in the battle, the battle situation in front of him was completely impossible to intervene. And at this time, the move used by Landorus in conjunction with the violently surging spiritual power in the Ancient Castle was a unique skill that all Psychics were familiar with!

It's just that, under such huge amplification, does this move really count as "Extrasensory"!

At this time, Landorus gathered boundless powerful Psychic power and sent a huge magical power to attack Xiang Guangtai and the Pokémon!

The entire fourth floor seemed to be overturned by this move. The huge earthquake made the Desert Resort on the surface tremble, and Clay, workers, and Plasma Society people deep in the third and fourth floors all felt the power of this attack!

"My God, what happened!"

Clay looked at the direction where the vibration came from in disbelief. What happened on the fourth floor?

And Yorgos was pleasantly surprised.

That energy was incomparably huge. If the Pokémon that emitted the energy could be used for his own purposes... regardless of whether it was Volcarona, it could become the trump card of the Plasma Society!

"Hit back!"

However, Xiang Guangtai and the Pokémon did not retreat. At this time, gather the power of the heart and exert the great power obtained from the heroes of Unova!

Transmit Fighting Spirit! Transmit your fighting spirit to your Pokémon, temporarily increasing the Pokémon's strength and stamina!

Transmit Determination! Transmit your determination to your Pokémon, temporarily increasing the Pokémon's energy and will!

And then—Victory Fragment! Greatly improve the strength and physical fitness of Pokémon or people!

Aegislash, Steel Beam!

Lilligant, Solar Blade!

Riolu, Dark Pulse!

Torterra, Bullet Seed!

Energy of different types erupted instantly, colliding with that surging Extrasensory like the sea. The shockwave generated by the power directly swept the entire fourth floor, making those Plasma Society grunts who originally planned to come here to capture also fly out!

And Caitlin found a wall to avoid the shockwave of this battle. As for Xiang Guangtai and the Pokémon, and Landorus, at the center of the shockwave, a huge energy distortion occurred here!

Aegislash's beam disappeared, and then immediately opened King's Shield. The shockwave exploded on the shield, making everyone unscathed, while Landorus was knocked flying by the huge energy and smashed to the ground heavily!

"Ladong..."

After the energy shockwave, it was a mess. The tall stone pillars collapsed and turned into ruins, and there were traces of energy crushing everywhere on the city bricks!

The collision of power caused the angry ancient city spirit to fade away like a tide quickly. It had erupted once and would not control Landorus in a short time.

And Landorus also briefly cleared up from the rampage state controlled by the ancient spirit.

The ancient god opened its eyes suddenly, and the violent spiritual power distorted the reality in front of it, and now it gradually returned to normal. It panted violently, the memory of the battle just now gradually became clear, and it looked at those Pokémon in disbelief.

Such powerful strength... what is going on?

However, Xiang Guangtai was not feeling well at this time.

"It seems that fighting spirit and determination will also consume my spiritual power... it's my mistake."

"No, the impact of the Victory Fragment on me is greater!"

Looking at the dim Victory Fragment in his hand, it was a strange V-shaped crystal, a reward given by the Entralink Tree. It seems to come from Victini. This infinite power of victory is not something ordinary Psychics can control, and the result is the loss of a lot of spiritual power.

At the same time, the power of the heroes is still too reluctant for Xiang Guangtai to use two at once.

Even if he had found Psychics to conduct spiritual exchanges and cultivation, it was still beyond his reach to fully project his power onto the Pokémon.

Spiritual power still needs to continue to improve.

"It seems that my cultivation still needs

"Ah, Landorus, have you calmed down?"

Seeing Landorus return to normal and staring in his direction, Guang Tai tried to greet it in a friendly manner.

Landorus raised its eyebrows, eyeing Guang Tai with suspicion.

Having fully recovered the memories from the recent battle, Landorus stroked its chin, scrutinizing the intruder before it.

Although he had invaded its territory, he had also saved it.

At this moment, the voices of Team Plasma elites drifted over from not far away.

"Ah, what is that Pokémon?!"

"It is the source of the immense energy! This powerful force is being faced by a Pokémon Trainer, damn it! He must be trying to capture this Pokémon; we absolutely cannot allow such a thing to happen!"

The Team Plasma elite grunts appeared on the fourth floor; they had discovered Landorus and were attempting to capture it, while simultaneously releasing their own Pokémon, preparing to seize the Pokémon in Guang Tai's possession as well!

"Those Pokémon are being ordered to fight; it is truly too pitiful."

"We are going to 'liberate' them from your hands!"

The self-righteous grunts rushed forward, and they even intended to capture Landorus, but at this moment, the now-recovered Landorus narrowed its eyes!

It clapped its hands together!

The floor of the entire fourth level shook violently, and fierce cracks appeared on the floor tiles!

A massive force threatened to tear the entire fourth level apart!

Move: One-Hit KO - Fissure!

The Team Plasma elites' Pokémon fell directly into the fissures in the ground, and they themselves fell right along with them, while the Ground-type force assaulted their internal organs, causing all of their Pokémon to fall into a fainted state in a single blow!

"Hmph!"

Landorus let out a sound of disdain; these clueless humans had just rushed up shouting nonsensical slogans, but there was no doubt they had intended to capture it!

It wasn't the first time it had encountered such people, and when facing such fellows, using Fissure directly was the best way to say hello!

"Ah, thank you, but you've almost torn the floor of the fourth level apart! By the way, what kind of structure is this city built on? Why doesn't it collapse even like this?"

Guang Tai took some medicine to recover his vitality, and Landorus floated in front of him, nodding slightly to show its approval of Guang Tai.

You actually withstood my Hammer Arm... you guy, you're simply not human!

But precisely because of that, you fought alongside your Pokémon and won the recent victory without backing down; that is beyond doubt, and you have likewise won my favor!

Landorus rummaged through its body, then took out a gemstone and handed it to Guang Tai.

"What is this... a badge?"

"Landorus (Abundant Gemstone, this is a token of gratitude)."

【Valuable Material: Abundant Gemstone.】

【Description: An Abundant Gemstone obtained from Landorus; it is a crystal condensed from the power of abundance, a treasure originally seen on Landorus's belly only in its Therian Forme.】

【Effect: Can bring abundance to a piece of land, greatly enhancing the power of Ground, Grass, and Flying types!】

【Knowledge Gained: Abundant Cultivation — The soil you cultivate can become more fertile and abundant, with its fertility doubling; at the same time, it can convert the power of wind and thunder to seep into the earth. If used on Torterra, it will allow Torterra to master the same cultivation knowledge! It is equally effective when used on the Entree Forest.】

Afterward, Landorus raised both hands, scattering a vast amount of earth essence like sweet rain; every year, it accumulates power in the ancient city, condensing the energy of the earth from the boundless sea of sand to nourish the soil of the entire Unova region!

In the anime, this grace is known as the sunlight summoned by Landorus, which can make plants sprout and grow instantly, possessing powerful healing and benevolent properties!

Afterward, Landorus looked thoughtfully at the few fainted Team Plasma elites behind them.

It had already anticipated that a great battle might occur here, but it had a more important mission to fulfill; if these people destroyed the ancient city, not only would it be unable to resupply here in the future, but it might even be captured by these people with ulterior motives.

Now, this ancient city is full of people... attracting attention is not a good thing.

Then, why not ask the person in front of it to take it out?

Landorus stroked its beard and thought of a clever plan.

"Landorus!" Landorus pointed at the Poké Ball on Guang Tai's waist!
