Chapter 308

Deep underground in Twist Mountain.

The rampage and confusion of the Pokémon subsided. The massive power of the yellow crystal swept away those electric waves, the King of Giants stopped moving, and the flickering of the signal lights also stopped.

The rampaging Pokémon around woke up. What followed after the power increase was extreme weakness, and even the Elite Four's Pokémon were the same.

"Ugh! How, how could it fail?! Colress's machine always breaks down at critical moments!"

Zinzolin frowned, gripping the instrument in his hand angrily. He didn't understand what had happened just now.

And that huge yellow light had already left a reflection in his eyes. Zinzolin looked at those Pokémon in a weakened state, suddenly stunned on the spot, feeling an unprecedented pain from his heart.

"Ugh... my heart... hoo-hoo... why is it so uncomfortable?"

Zinzolin felt something was wrong, so he wanted to leave here, and began to call for darkness.

"Chandelure! Overheat!"

Shauntal's Chandelure appeared suddenly, the gloomy blue crystal ghost lamp sprayed fierce ghost fire, Zinzolin was surrounded by a sea of fire and let out a horrified cry, but fortunately, one of the Shadow Triad appeared in time, and after imprisoning Shauntal, immediately took Zinzolin and teleported away.

Only the damaged Colress machine test type was left behind.

"Pity, let him run away!"

Marshal breathed heavily, with a large group of Pokémon lying beside him. This Fighting-type Elite Four member suppressed many rampaging Pokémon with his own strength and beat them until they lost the ability to battle.

"What was that just now, I suddenly couldn't move, psychic power?"

Shauntal frowned slightly. As an Elite Four member, watching the troublemaker run away from under her nose, this feeling was very unpleasant. Although Shauntal was not the type who liked to fight, but...

This is a bit shameful!

"The Shadow Triad are psychics who possess the ability to imprison others' actions and teleport... core cadres of Team Plasma."

Xiang Guangtai explained: "If you want to seal their ability to escape... Miss Caitlin should be able to do it, right?"

Caitlin's psychic observation, brainwave connection, explosion, future sight, teleportation... but in the special edition, she didn't seem to be able to catch the Shadow Triad's movement trajectory.

But if it's about tearing down a building with bare hands, Xiang Guangtai believes this young lady definitely won't lose.

"Miss Shauntal, these Pokémon are extremely weak and need treatment!"

Skyla was checking the injuries of those fallen Pokémon. She was very sensitive to the weakness of life. Many Pokémon here had overdrawn their lives, making their vitality precarious.

She hurriedly took out some Revives from her body, but after looking at the number of Revives, she found it was not enough.

"Use this."

Xiang Guangtai came to Skyla's side and took out emergency jelly.

"No one will carry too many Revives on their body. At this time, special secret medicine comes in handy."

"Recovered!" Skyla looked at the Braviary in her arms. After taking the secret medicine, the life force of this Pokémon, which was about to go out, surged again. It opened its eyes and let out a comfortable low chirp.

Xiang Guangtai still had a lot of medicine here. At this time, he gave a part to Skyla to treat those Pokémon that fell into weakness after going crazy.

Glanced at the surroundings.

His own Pokémon were all lying on the ground exhausted.

The battle of the soul consumes not the body but the spirit. Their bodies were injured to varying degrees in the previous battle and urgently needed recovery.

Xiang Guangtai took out various potions from his backpack and began to restore his injured companions.

The blue-furred puppy and the white-furred bug leaned against Torterra, chewing berries while swallowing revival grass leaves, and incidentally biting a root of energy.

Aegislash and Lilligant were also absorbing the energy of revival grass and berries.

Walking Wake stuck out its tongue, and its big head let out a low purr.

Hungry. That's what it said.

But the root of energy and revival grass are too bitter, it doesn't want to eat.

Torterra was constantly catalyzing various plants to heal everyone!

"Okay, okay, there are still energy blocks!"

"Come to think of it, you guys treat Turtle as a Pokémon Center! Is this a supply station!"

And the various revival grasses on Torterra's back also attracted those weak Pokémon. They gathered together spontaneously, sharing the leaves of those revival grasses, chewing constantly, making their stamina recover.

Torterra at this time is indeed like a mobile Pokémon Center. Under the gain of several forest blessings, as long as there is natural energy, revival grass can be continuously supplied.

And among the humans, Mr. Vardo and N are not here.

Mr. Vardo is not here because he was not pulled into the Spirit Realm, but big N teacher...

However, Xiang Guangtai can feel the existence of N's soul—this is a very wonderful feeling, and Mesprit's voice came from his heart.

【Don't worry, the place that person returned to is the Celestial Tower, he has already left!】

Xiang Guangtai was startled, then nodded gently.

It seems that it was Mesprit's power that moved them to this side.

"Colress machine..." Xiang Guangtai recovered that strange machine, and a prompt appeared in his eyes.

【Item: Colress Machine (Test Product No. 99.)】

【Description: A special device that can forcibly awaken the potential of Pokémon. But because it is a test product, the function is not yet perfect.】

【Effect: The 99th test product, considered a failed work, will excessively trigger the rampage of Pokémon and consume the Pokémon's life force.】

【Remark: By analyzing this machine, you can create special powerful devices—】

【Craftable items: Electric Wave Neutralization Device (Anti-Colress Machine), Galactic G-109SP Radar, Pokémon Control Gun, Anti-Pokémon Control Gun, Aura Searcher.】

【Among them, the principle of machines related to Pokémon control is to increase the burden on their spirit with special electric waves, let them reach the state of battle, increase combat power to the limit, however, it will cause damage to the Pokémon itself.】

The yellow crystal's voice came.

【Modern human technology is just playing tricks. Under the illumination of the crystal's energy, these machines are just a pile of scrap iron!】

The ancient soul looks down on modern creations. Is this point quite common in the Pokémon world?

Ancient mysterious science can open a theatrical version if you pull one out casually, and the role of modern technology is just to add various cool electric waves and capture devices to the villain. Encountering mysterious science, it usually collapses at a touch.

"Although this is not the first time I've heard it, the crystal talking still startled me."

Xiang Guangtai tried to communicate with the yellow crystal: "Although the blue crystal has helped me many times, it has never talked to me."

"So, are you the soul of the Yellow Prince?"

【I am just a part of the Prince's soul.】 The yellow crystal's voice was very ethereal, sounding like it was singing: 【Friend, you are very special. If it is you, maybe you can help us, complete our wish...】

【Blue crystal said, you know the ancient legend of Almia, which is our story?】

【Blue crystal doesn't communicate with you because it is unwilling to entrust such terrible things to others, and is also afraid that you will be tempted by the dark crystal. That is a dangerous thing. Only the destined person can eliminate its power, so it believes in fate.】

【And I don't believe in that kind of thing. Long before the distant era, when I went to the desert alone, I knew that I must resist this fate, and, make up for the mistakes of the past.】

【Long ago, we fought for power, causing chaos in the country. The King was very angry, exiled me and the Red-haired one, while the Blue-haired one remained in the country. Later, the greed of the human heart rotated like a vortex, dyeing the King's heart and soul black...】

【You still have important things to do now. After you finish the work here, if you are willing... please go to Almia.】

【You are an item craftsman, you will chase rare materials, and in this world, there is nothing more precious than our raw stones...】

The yellow crystal's voice gradually disappeared. It seemed to have fallen silent, but in fact, it was still emitting faint light, seemingly communicating with the blue crystal, and they deliberately avoided Xiang Guangtai.

Buzz buzz—

Regigigas's call drew Xiang Guangtai's attention.

Regigigas, the legendary King of Giants, was standing in front, fully awake from the confused state, "staring" at Xiang Guangtai.

【The dragon has been repelled, mission accomplished.】

【Ancient King, you who hold the key, yet lack power...】

The strange protrusions on Regigigas's body flickered with light.

【According to the ancient agreement, I will connect with you, making you possess the Heart of the Giant!】

————

"Clay! We wanted to ask you, what's going on with this giant Pokémon? Why would there be a situation of Pokémon confusion here?"

"Just now when we were in the soul world, it suddenly appeared, and then knocked down the legendary dragon with one punch!"

Shauntal excitedly recounted what had just happened, watching Xiang Guangtai establishing a connection with Regigigas over there, her heart beating thump-thump!

Too interesting, too beautiful! The materials encountered along the way with the shopkeeper are simply countless!"

"The battle of the Celestial Tower, the world of souls, the pale-silver dragon, the Gods of Wind and Thunder, the legendary giant... this is simply a clearance sale of legendary Pokémon!"

Clay scratched his head in disbelief:

"Soul world, you said you were pulled into the soul world by a dragon...?! Okay!"

"If it were the old me, I would definitely scoff, but the current me doesn't doubt it at all!"

"After all, I also experienced incredible things in the Ancient City, and if it's related to that guy, it's normal for this kind of thing to happen!"

"This giant was calling us just now. According to your statement, when the stars appeared, a distorted black gate appeared here, and it just walked out from behind that wall, disappeared in an instant, and returned here with you in the next instant!"

"Marshal, what do you think?"

Clay looked at Marshal, and the simple Fighting-type Elite Four member looked determined:

"I am a martial artist, I don't understand these mysterious things, anyway, as long as nothing big happens."

"However, what makes me care is..." Marshal's expression was serious, his eyes looking at Xiang Guangtai's back.

"Strong, absolutely strong! I'm not just talking about the quality as a trainer, his body also gives me a feeling of being strong and powerful!"

"By the way, Mr. Xiang Guangtai's strength is great!" Skyla mentioned this: "Maybe he is a martial artist?"

Marshal: "Hmm, a martial artist? A young genius martial artist, it's not like I haven't seen this kind of person. A few days ago, I received a recommendation letter saying that a young karate genius from the Galar region is coming to me to train..."

Marshal's mouth curled into a smile: "That giant is also an incredible existence. Although I don't know what it is, it is definitely a legendary Pokémon!"

Shauntal pushed her glasses: "You don't even know who it is, and you still say it's legendary?"

Marshal waved his hand: "Don't care about such small things! Sometimes not having a legend is also a legend!"

Shauntal glanced at Marshal and whispered: "Didn't you say you wanted to thank the creator of that secret medicine before? The shopkeeper here, he is the creator of the secret medicine."

"The person who entrusted to find Champion Alder is also him."

Marshal was stunned.

"So it was him... let Champion Alder get out of the whirlpool of public opinion, making Team Plasma's criticism fall through... thanks to the special medicine sent from a distant region!"

As Alder's disciple, Marshal was very grateful to the person who made the medicine, but he didn't expect this person to be right in front of him!

And he also calmed the confusion of the King of Giants and the Pokémon!

"Hmm... he is a martial artist. What martial artists like are Fighting-type move learning machines or Black Belts? It feels a bit ordinary..."

"By the way, I have collected martial arts books from all over the world... using this as a thank-you gift will definitely work... and add move learning machines!"

Marshal began to mutter.

This is a personal thank you, and it must be something valuable and precious!

However, since he is a martial artist... Marshal's instinct as a martial artist is burning!

I really want to have a real-person PK with the person in front of me somewhere... by the way, isn't there that kind of occasion!

At the end of this year!

That Galar martial arts genius is also coming for this!

————

On the other side, Xiang Guangtai received the settlement reward.

Mesprit had already left, but it left him a burst of energy, which can strengthen the emotions between him and his Pokémon.

【The stronger the emotion, the greater the power exerted. Different emotions have different powers, use it properly!】

【Although the arrival of the pale-silver Giratina was an accident, the distortion here has been repaired, a new Griseous Orb was born, and it has also become your friend. You have an extra emblem on your hand... next, there are two more!】

Mesprit's voice went away.

An emblem also appeared on Xiang Guangtai's other hand. When not in use, the emblem will hide. Unlike Giratina's emblem, the pale-silver dragon's emblem is silver-white.

In the soul, Giratina's dissatisfied voice came.

What kind of alien god with Heavenly Power, wasn't it defeated by its own contractor? But the most critical thing is that it actually wanted to "steal" its contractor?

Your emblem is the most useless! Giratina was very unhappy!

However, it still praised Xiang Guangtai in the Distortion World, saying that this battle really showed the prestige of our universe, very spirited, didn't lose points!

This way, Arceus will also have a lot of face when facing other clones!

"You still know how to win face for your old father... but Arceus shouldn't care about this, by the way, is the Arceus of the alien universe golden?"

【Mission accomplished!】

【Reward: Release Orb ×15, Seeker's Belief ×1, King's Rock ×1, Intense Soul, Soul Liberation!】

【Seeker's Belief: Project your own belief onto the Pokémon, which can make the Pokémon inherit part of the power of the defeated companion, and at the same time double the trigger probability of the move's additional effects!】

【Intense Soul: Your psychic power has been greatly improved! "Master Psychic" has been acquired! You can call for the addition of soul power through prayer, and use the emotions in the souls of people and Pokémon to strengthen you and your Pokémon. When you are in adversity, the indomitable soul power will be greatly improved!】

【Remark: This is the power from the ancient psychic master!】

【Soul Liberation: You can increase the upper limit of the soul, unlock the shackles of the soul, your soul resonates with the Pokémon, and will erupt with unimaginable power; you can wake up confused souls, make them unaffected by the malice of the real world, and can open the channel to the Spirit Realm to safely send souls into the Spirit Realm.】

【Remark: This is the gift of power from the Celestial Tower!】

【C-Gear Skin (1): A skin used on the C-Gear. Completing special world events can record a skin once, maybe it can record special fluctuations... "Pale-silver Giratina" has been recorded! You can use "Spirit Realm Electric Wave"—spiritual cultivation efficiency improved, and you can receive and send Spirit Realm signals through the C-Gear.】

【Learned the legendary music "Requiem of the Stars (Imitation)"—can be taught to Giratina!】

The stronger the emotion, the stronger the soul, and the stronger the soul, the stronger the power!

Come to think of it, Intense Soul and Soul Liberation, and Spirit Realm signal... what ancient psychic master, the person you are talking about, wouldn't his name be Atem?

"Thank you, Mesprit, Entree Forest... this is very useful!"

Psychic is his earliest profession, and now, this profession has basically reached the peak among peers!

Xiang Guangtai felt that Phoebe, the Elite Four of the Hoenn region, should be a master-level psychic. She can communicate with the Spirit Realm, escort the dead, and maybe even travel freely between the Spirit Realm and the world of the living.

In the subsequent generations, among the Ghost-type masters, it is difficult to see a psychic as exaggerated as Phoebe again.

Like Shauntal, who is very familiar with him, although she is also a Ghost-type Elite Four, Shauntal is not a psychic.

Then, next is the power of Regigigas.

This King of Giants is muttering, saying things that others find difficult to understand, but for Xiang Guangtai, it can communicate without obstacles.

The King of Giants' emotions and inner voice flowed into his heart.

【... Long ago, the King of the Sun City signed a contract with us. Giants came to this world to help them fight that huge dragon from beyond the sky, but I failed.】

【The dragon's faith replaced the giant's faith, but the people of the Sun City did not forget me... they built giant statues in the city, built gates leading to the Moon Kingdom underground, and by switching mechanisms during the day and night, they could reach different worlds.】

【The three Pokémon I created simultaneously guarded the world of the sun and the world of the moon, in the black world and the white world... usually, only by bringing them to me can I be awakened.】

【But you are different... I feel the same aura from you as my creations... have you met them before?】

"Regirock, Regice, Registeel... King of Giants, there are other Kings of Giants like you in the world, do you know."

If there is only one Regigigas in the world, it must appear in Snowpoint Temple.

If the King of Giants appeared in the Unova region, it means that the King of Giants exists all over the world.

"In my hometown, the three legendary giants also appeared. They lived and worked with the ancients of the God Capital, but after the God Capital dispersed, they also fell into slumber in their respective temples. Now they have awakened and become my friends. Living in the different space I created."

【So that's how it is... but besides that, there are others...】 Regigigas pointed to the pendant on Xiang Guangtai's chest.

The yellow crystal is emitting gentle fluctuations and light.

【The owner of this crystal also once obtained the friendship of my kin. You are the person chosen by this crystal, but this crystal doesn't look like a raw stone, just a fragment... you should perhaps try to obtain its raw stone.】

Regigigas's tone was emotional:

【We dragged the continents of the world, making them form different regions, and then we lived in our respective continental areas, injecting our power into the earth, and thus lost the huge power that once dragged the continents.】

【The part of the earth where this mountain is located was dragged from... a continent named Hoenn. That land is one of the regions where the world began. The continental beast named Groudon raised volcanoes and land, the sea beast named Kyogre filled the ocean, and we were responsible for transporting them to suitable locations.】

【My kin, the giants, haven't seen them for a long time... they left temples in different regions, right...】

What would the Kings of Giants talk about when they communicate?

The current situation of the temples and continents they each look after?

Regigigas sighed: 【I feel that kin once participated in some battles in other regions, and then fell... things that happened in history on other continents... Darkest Day...】

Xiang Guangtai thought, good guy.

"You know the King of Giants in Galar?"

【Galar is the name of the continent named by humans, that's right, the King of Giants who fell after participating in the battle with the dragon from beyond the sky...】

Xiang Guangtai: "... Another King who fought with a dragon."

Eternatus incident?

The King of Giants in Galar fell in the Crown Tundra. The incident triggered by Eternatus caused Calyrex to lose part of its memory. From the perspective of historical progress, about 3,000 years ago, Eternatus tried to maintain its life by absorbing the energy of Galar, causing the appearance of red light.

This led to the Darkest Day phenomenon, making the nearby Pokémon enter the Dynamax and Gigantamax states, becoming nearly crazy, almost destroying the Galar region.

The King of Giants might also have been crazy because of this, but it also had a war with Eternatus, so it fell in... Giant's Bed.

【The King of Giants in Snowpoint Temple was given a mission, the mission of God... everything in this world is shaped by God. We drag continents, make them form various regions, obey God's orders to fall into slumber, and wake up because of protecting the world, but we didn't complete our mission... failures followed one after another...】

【You were entrusted with fate by the Ancient City... the ghosts of humans chose you, so I also chose you.】

【What has the world become now?】

Xiang Guangtai transmitted his memory to the King of Giants, letting it see the world now.

Ah... the King of Giants is no longer needed to help now.

The world changes too fast, and the giants' memories are still stuck in the distant era. Regigigas is a bit confused about the outside world.

The King of Giants was silent for a good while before the strange protrusions like signal lights lit up again.

【Humans have opened up a new future. Whether it is the Sun Kingdom or the Sea Kingdom, they have become distant legends. There are no winners in the past disputes...】

【This is the "New World".】

【But, I believe that the history of humans and Pokémon in the past will not disappear easily. You are the King of the end, use this power to do something, and leave your... and our traces in the history of the New World.】

【According to the ancient agreement, give you power!】

Regigigas said so, and then Xiang Guangtai felt a burst of energy appear in his spirit!

【Acquired: Heart of the Giant!】

【Description: Special power from Regigigas, the ability to use natural energy to charge Pokémon. Regigigas used this power to shape unique Pokémon through special lava, icebergs, and rocks. Ancient humans used this power to create Golett and Golurk. Those who possess the Heart of the Giant can call giants for help.】

【Craftable items: Phantom Plate, Spiral Plate, Never-Melt Ice, Legendary Black Gold, Ancient Rock, Volcano Stone.】

【Extra: Your power and physique increased by 200%, mastered the power of the giant (Million-Ton Punch).】

【Extra! Unlocked special profession "Martial Artist"* (Fist Plate can strengthen this profession)!】

【You have mastered the special power "True Qi"—this is the power to release momentum that only a Fighting master can comprehend.】

【Effect: High affinity with Fighting-type Pokémon, while mastering special martial arts.】

【Martial Arts Secret (can be obtained through craft production): Scroll of One Strike · Scroll of Penetration.】

【Description: Secret martial arts from a distant region, focusing on defeating the opponent in one strike, breaking through the obstacles of attribute energy by condensing True Qi—martial arts move "Gun Bullet Breakthrough", when used as a Pokémon move, the power is 120, the damage of this move does not calculate weaknesses, resistances, or additional effects on the opponent's person or Pokémon!】

【Craftable items: Glowing Robe.】

【The Heart of the Giant reacted with your other abilities, unlocking special craft recipes.】

【Connection Modification Craft (S-): Perform power connection on different Pokémon, realized through breeding/maintenance/modification, perform deep modification through the flow of natural energy, may appear some illegal abilities and powers, consume one Release Orb and other materials!】

【C-Gear Skin (2): A skin used on the C-Gear. Completing special world events can record a skin once, maybe it can record special fluctuations... "Unova's King of Giants Regigigas" has been recorded! You can receive signals from giants through the C-Gear, send giant messages!】

A large amount of information poured into Xiang Guangtai's consciousness.

Martial arts, giant's power, special scrolls...

True Qi! This is a type of Fighting-type energy. Usually, not only Fighting Pokémon, but humans can also obtain this power through training! But one must be a Fighting master to comprehend the power of True Qi!

Feeling a stream of air gushing out in his body, these streams of air originally existed in the body, but they couldn't be felt without mastering the secret of True Qi. After having this cognition, this stream of air would appear obviously.

After both physique and spirit are enhanced, True Qi can be released! What is manifested is probably the powerful momentum emerging from the body, and the fist wind!

And connection modification craft...

Although Xiang Guangtai had thought about trying to perform maintenance on the Regi King if he had the chance, he didn't expect that he would have such great help after obtaining the Heart of the Giant!

What is this, a Pokémon modifier?

Then, the moment of gratitude has arrived!

"Thank you for your gift, but after this."

Xiang Guangtai suddenly suggested: "Do you need me to perform a maintenance on you?"

"Although you said that the loss of power was because the energy was injected into the earth, is the Slow Start ability caused by this? But after maintenance, maybe this ability will disappear."
