Chapter 309

Although there are stories of wars with certain "giants" in Arceus's creation story, clearly those giants are not the giant clan of the Regi Kings.

Regigigas and the others are more like those who descended to the world after being given the mission to separate the earth by Arceus.

Moreover, Xiang Guangtai confirmed one thing.

The Regigigas in this world is indeed distributed in various regions as in the game.

There is more than one of them!

Of course, the most special one is still the one in Snowpoint Temple.

It's just that the one in Twist Mountain is not bad either!

The Unova King of Giants who once fought the Tao Dragon God, although defeated, was also glorious in defeat! That kind of monster was not something ordinary Pokémon could deal with!

After all, that Dragon God hasn't been able to appear yet!

Even with the DNA Splicers as a fusion prop, the Tao Trio cannot return to their former appearance.

It's hard to say if something is still missing.

Xiang Guangtai started the maintenance on the King of Giants.

Maintenance, polishing, and care, and incidentally, using the power of the Heart of the Giant and the Heart's Vortex on it.

Regigigas felt the change.

Hmm? You use the energy you gave me to maintain me?

【But this should be useless...】

"No, it will be useful."

The breeding/maintenance/modification of the connection modification craft is a targeted cultivation for different Pokémon.

Rather than calling it a craft, it is better to say it is a kind of application of the power of release.

Regigigas looks like some kind of giant machine.

Unlike the three legendary giants, the composition of the King of Giants' body cannot be identified, but at least it can be confirmed that it is not flesh and blood.

However, there are many strange Pokémon.

Even real machine-type Pokémon are not non-existent.

Xiang Guangtai took out a small hammer and began to knock everywhere.

Dong dong dong...

Regigigas has various black stripes that look like pipelines distributed on its body. Its head, waist, back, and limbs are covered with black zigzag patterns.

These stripes are one of the sources of its machine-like feeling, and they are also an important part of the giant king's power, and they may also be some kind of mysterious inscription.

Its head center and feet are covered with green vegetation.

This shows that the King of Giants also has parts linked to natural life.

The sense of deja vu is very much like the giant robot in the City in the Sky.

However, having a natural part means that his breeding method for plants can take effect on the King of Giants.

Of course, if you look at the King of Giants as a whole as a living ruin.

Then his various ruin maintenance crafts can also come in handy, making natural power release energy waves suitable for Pokémon growth better.

The spirit and texture of the legendary giants were once carved down and resonated with the power of nature.

Then, this requires the use of ancient crystals.

"Oh, Xiang Guangtai, what are you doing!"

Clay was attracted by Xiang Guangtai's movement.

Others also looked over one after another.

Xiang Guangtai: "Performing maintenance and repair on the King of Giants, it will be finished soon."

"Adjust the power patterns on the King of Giants, repair, grind, wipe, and polish the body."

"Water and catalyze the plants."

"Charge the King of Giants' body, and at the same time... inject into the heart."

Treat the King of Giants as a craft, use the Heart's Vortex to inject distant memories and thoughts into its body.

Golden creation power also appeared in Xiang Guangtai's hand.

Although very weak, in the environment of the underground ruins, because of the identity of the ancient king, special power will suddenly rise.

Those dense moss-like plants were catalyzed and absorbed the energy of creation power.

Xiang Guangtai also distributed special soil to them, applied it evenly to the King of Giants' legs and top, and soon the soil disappeared.

【Precious material: Mesozoic prosperous vegetation.】

【Description: One of the oldest vegetation in the world, plants symbiotic with the King of Giants, is part of the King of Giants' body.】

【Effect: Eternal Lush—ancient vegetation that grows by absorbing natural energy, can greatly improve the toughness of plants, making them survive in any environment without being destroyed.】

Come to think of it, don't these ancient plants count as crystals of grass and wood?

Using these plants to create, wouldn't it be possible to create a grass-type legendary giant Regifacsquid?

"Repair the King of Giants? Don't talk about this guy like a machine!"

Clay laughed: "By the way, I'm suddenly a bit interested in my ancestors."

Xiang Guangtai: "Do you want to hear it... although it's not distant, long ago, we were all the same nation."

Skyla: "Clay, are you and him talking in code?"

Clay laughed loudly and didn't answer.

At this time, Regigigas suddenly felt a change in its body.

Long ago, the people of the Ancient City also once protected and repaired it. This power is the power of release.

Adjusted the black texture on its body, just like adjusting its own power. Even Regigigas didn't understand what was going on.

The Slow Start ability has been maintained like this since injecting power into the world.

Of course, it could ignore this ability in the past, but after being defeated by the Tao Dragon God, this ability began to affect it all the time.

Startup takes time... it was broken, unable to bring out the level of the past.

I'm Slow Start, are you saying I'm not in a hurry!

And now, after the careful maintenance of the King of the end in front of it... that power lost in the past seems to have returned!

Connection!

A familiar feeling appeared. Is that the power of the Entree Forest?

The special maintenance craft involves mysterious inscriptions. Regigigas felt that Xiang Guangtai had carved something on its body and installed auxiliary props for it.

Those should be... Star Pieces.

【I felt it, powerful strength and the call of Pokémon...】

【Ability is a special ability possessed by every Pokémon】

"Consumed an ancient crystal, a Release Orb, and some Star Pieces as new external power, modified the shape of the black texture, carved new inscriptions, performed grinding and polishing, and re-cultivated the Mesozoic vegetation!"

"Okay! Please feel the new power!"

{Regigigas is full of natural power, and its ability has changed! Slow Start has disappeared! }

{Regigigas's level has recovered! }

Regigigas felt the existence of the surrounding Pokémon, and that sense of existence was very strong and could not be ignored.

Natural fluctuations are adjusting the wavelength, and the King of Giants felt the "power of ability" of Pokémon!

Then, if you connect through the power of release, you can...

"The parts where the black texture exists are the arms, legs, and body, so the available inscription slots are five."

"Theoretically, it can connect with five Pokémon, record their abilities, and use the same natural power to simulate those abilities and replace Slow Start."

Regigigas's fluctuations began to look for Pokémon powers similar or identical to its past power, and the inscriptions on its body lit up!

Unsealed right arm, unsealed left arm, unsealed left foot, unsealed right foot, unsealed Regigigas!

Natural power is filling in!

Huge energy is recovering!

Huge Power, Adaptability, Filter, Intimidate, Pressure, Regenerator...

Countless energy combinations formed different abilities, waiting for Regigigas to choose and use!

Past power...!

After suffering for many years, the first ability Regigigas used was...

It looked for the power of nearby Pokémon and replaced it for itself.

Huge Power and Filter are both part of its past power, no need to rush to get them!

The first one to get should be———

Ability... Speed Boost!

I'm Slow Start, are you saying I'm not in a hurry!

The current me is the speed-limit warrior Regigigas!
