Chapter 47: Celebi Wants Praise

The special effect of Celebi's stone statue is move recall, as well as immunity to attacks from Pokémon in the forest, which is a very practical ability!

Xiang Guangtai also recalled the theatrical version of "Meeting in Time and Space." In that theatrical version, when Ash and the others entered the forest with Celebi, they were not attacked by Pokémon. The Pokémon led by Ursaring even took the initiative to lead the way for them.

Celebi, known as the guardian of the forest, is respected by all Pokémon and has left unique legends in many eras.

As for recalling moves, the moves learned by real Pokémon are rarely forgotten, but there are still similar situations.

For example, "moves that can be learned before evolution, but cannot be learned after evolution."

"Time!"

Celebi stroked her sculpture and looked very happy!

At the same time, she also noticed that this sculpture contained incredible power. Although she couldn't understand it, it seemed to have a very deep connection with her.

It's very similar to the statues carved for her by those people in ancient times!

Afterward, she flew around in Xiang Guangtai's workshop, poking here and touching there. She saw that some flower pots were cultivating moss, so she reached out and touched them.

Xiang Guangtai immediately received feedback on the information.

【Rare material: Moss of Light.】

【Description: One-time use glowing moss. If the Pokémon carrying it is attacked by a Water-type move, its Special Defense will increase.】

【Gained knowledge: 1】

【Moss Master: Transplant Moss of Light onto a stone, there is a chance to turn the stone into 'Moss Rock'.】

"Celebi completed a craft work, harvested experience and growth!"

"Learned move: Helping Hand."

Well, I harvested myself.

Xiang Guangtai complained silently.

Most of the names of people in the Pokémon world come from certain plants, and he is no exception. Moss is a type of moss, and also a battle item. For some Pokémon weak to Water, this glowing moss can effectively help them resist the attacks of Water-type Pokémon.

"If transplanted onto a Pokémon like Onix, maybe they will also become no longer afraid of water. What should such Pokémon be called? Moss Onix?"

"If an ordinary Onix is covered with a layer of moss coat and lives like this for a long time, will it gain a Grass-type?"

While thinking this, Xiang Guangtai completed another craft production — this was the help from Celebi, and the moss cultivation craft was completed.

Obtained a clue for a new material!

【Rare material: Unique Forest Tree Seedling.】

【Acquisition location: Ilex Forest/Viridian Forest/Petalburg Woods/White Forest/Entree Forest/Glimwood Tangle】

【Corresponding craft: Unique tree cultivation craft.】

"Time!" Celebi looked at the glowing moss pot and was very happy. She seemed carefree, and nothing made her feel unhappy.

And as for the Symbol Plate and Arceus sculpture, she had already secretly seen them last night!

"Time!" Celebi pointed at the glowing moss pot and expressed her wish.

After repairing the shrine, she hoped to transplant these glowing mosses onto it as decoration.

Xiang Guangtai didn't expect her to have such a request, but this is also good. With moss as decoration, it can make the shrine look more aged and sacred, so he gave Celebi a thumbs up:

"That's a really good idea!"

"Time!" Celebi stroked her chest, looking very proud.

Xiang Guangtai also laughed:

"It seems you are very satisfied with my craftsmanship. Then let's go help you repair the shrine tomorrow. After all, you have helped me a lot."

"However, if I want to exert the craftsmanship of ancient carving and ruin carving, I still need ancient rocks or ruin stones. I have almost used up the stones of the Shenhe Ruins."

Xiang Guangtai scratched his head. Although ruin stones are the easiest to obtain, he doesn't have a good means of transportation, and going to the Shenhe Ruins is really inconvenient. Moreover, that ruin has special uses. If he goes there again and again, Grandpa Mountain and Volo will probably think he is going there to stock up.

"Do you know where there are ancient rocks or ruin stones?"

Facing Xiang Guangtai's inquiry, Celebi's small hand rested on her chin, her small head raised slightly, and her eyes flashed with memories.

After a while, she shouted happily!

"Time!"

Yes, there is a ruin!

There is a collapsed ruin in the northwest of Shenhe Forest, and it is not an important ruin. There is nothing inside, only some strange stones.

As for the reason for the collapse, it seems to be because of the battle between Pokémon?

That ruin has been collapsed for a long time!

"Time!"

Celebi described the situation of the ruin in detail, while Dou Jianqiao translated with "Yo-yo-yo," and Cherubi was shaking her leaves, thinking about how she should fight those Voltorb if she returned to the forest.

In the Shenhe Forest, powerful Pokémon will divide their territories. If they invade the territory of other Pokémon, battles will break out. It is normal for an unlucky ruin to be damaged in the battle.

And ancient rocks, even Xiang Guangtai himself doesn't know what kind of stones count as ancient rocks. Is it divided from the perspective of geology?

If so, there are too many stones that can be called ancient stones. Is 1,000 years ancient rocks, and are rocks of 100 million or 1 billion years ancient rocks?

However, the time of the birth of the Pokémon world doesn't seem to be that long.

"Anyway, let's go to the ruin to take a look tomorrow!"

With Celebi's sculpture, Xiang Guangtai can also safely go deep into the forest. Those wild Pokémon will not attack him, which is much better than the effect of Cleanse Tag!

Cleanse Tag can drive away weak Pokémon, but it will lose effect on powerful Pokémon with higher levels.

And at this time, Celebi suddenly said:

"Time!"

There are many Pokémon restless in Shenhe Forest recently, and they have left their habitats.

"Eh? Is that so?" Xiang Guangtai thought of the Scyther incident mentioned in the village, while Celebi patted her small chest with a look of "no problem":

"Time, Bibi, Time!"

It doesn't matter, it will be fine if you follow me in. Those Pokémon will not attack us!

She raised her head and puffed out her small chest, which is different from the Celebi Xiang Guangtai remembered appearing in the animation.

This Celebi's personality, is it "Arrogant" or "Bold"?

Xiang Guangtai took out a Pecha Berry to treat Celebi. She took it and ate it happily, not looking unhappy at all. But when Xiang Guangtai handed over a Figy Berry, Celebi shook her head.

Figy Berry can restore one-third of the maximum HP, but if a Pokémon that hates spicy taste takes it, it will fall into a confused state.

"So that's it, the personality is Bold."

No wonder she took the initiative to contact him. Generally speaking, this kind of Mythical Pokémon doesn't like to be close to people, but if the personality is Bold, this kind of Pokémon likes to try everything it encounters.

"Time?"

Celebi flew to the workbench at this time, while eating the Pecha Berry, she stood on tiptoe and poked Xiang Guangtai.

Are there any other materials needed?

After Dou Jianqiao's translation, Xiang Guangtai thought about it:

"Can you give me a seedling of Ilex Forest?"

In the Johto region, the best wood is the wood of Ilex Forest. Xiang Guangtai cut a lot of wood on the outskirts of Shenhe Forest, but didn't trigger any craft, so he wanted to cultivate a tree from Ilex Forest to see what is magical about it.

Even the charcoal burned with the wood of Ilex Forest has incredible special effects.

And now, it is the time to use the craft he obtained.

"Time~"

Ilex Forest seedling, huh?

Of course, no problem!

Celebi patted her chest again to indicate that there was no problem. Although the Celebi worshipped in Ilex Forest is not her, all Celebi can use the shrines in various regions for time travel, so there is no problem!

She said so, and soon flew outside the house, and performed a time jump under the gaze of Xiang Guangtai and the two Pokémon!

The brilliance of time and space flowed, and after a while, she came back, and controlled a seedling of Ilex Forest with her psychic power, and it fell in front of Xiang Guangtai!

"Time!"

Celebi smiled, and then proudly raised her head again.

Time travel, amazing, right!

You can travel directly from here to Ilex Forest, and then pull a seedling and come back directly! Because Ilex Forest also has a shrine, you can travel directly there!

"Really, really amazing!"

Although he had seen it countless times in the game, the feeling of seeing it with his own eyes was different, so Xiang Guangtai's praise was sincere!

And Celebi became even prouder!

Xiang Guangtai touched the seedling of Ilex Forest, and information surged in his mind:

【Rare material: Ilex Forest Tree Seedling.】

【Description: A unique oak seedling in Ilex Forest. Although the whole forest is oak, this kind of tree cannot be seen in other places. After the seedling grows into an oak tree, it can be used to burn the highest quality 'Charcoal'. In the shadow area covered by the oak canopy, time will be regarded as 'night'.】

【Gained craft: 2】

【Unique charcoal burning craft (C-): Obtained the technical knowledge of burning the highest quality charcoal. The charcoal burned with the wood of Ilex Forest will have special effects.】

【Unique tree cultivation craft (C+): Seedlings obtained from specific forests can be planted in any region while retaining the unique effects of the original forest.】

Two crafts related to trees, this was already predicted when the clues were obtained before.

Speaking of which, it turns out it can be like this!

Xiang Guangtai had discovered before that there were Ilex Forest options in the two material clues generated by Celebi's catalysis. He didn't expect that the idea that one craft corresponds to one material was actually incorrect. Some materials might correspond to two or even more crafts, just needing some clever ways to trigger them.

However, even if he didn't get the second craft now, in fact, if he went to other forests, he could also get it. Crafts won't run away, and materials are the same.

"I originally thought today's work would be less, but now it seems it will be more!"
