Chapter 48: Wonderful Berry Juice

Xiang Guangtai rolled up his sleeves and prepared to work hard!

Medicinal herbs need to be harvested and processed into Chinese medicine. In this way, the Chinese medicine craft can also allow him to obtain new materials.

As for the cultivation of seedlings, Xiang Guangtai first chose a hillside and planted the seedlings. After the initial planting was completed, Celebi patted her chest to indicate that everything was handed over to her, no problem!

This oak seedling was planted on a hillside not far from the workshop. Celebi used her ability to make this seedling start to grow at an incredible speed, gradually experiencing stages such as growth, getting taller, getting thicker, etc., and soon, a towering tree rose from the ground!

Xiang Guangtai also watched this incredible scene, while Celebi flew over, looking very happy, showing an expression of "hurry up and praise me"!

"You are really amazing!"

Xiang Guangtai naturally didn't skimp on praise: "With such a big tree, it's enough for me to burn unique charcoal."

"And, I can also use the wood of Ilex Forest to carve more powerful wooden statues!"

And there is one, there will be two. Although it is said that a single tree does not make a forest, who says Celebi can't bring a second Ilex Forest seedling?

"Maybe after I get all kinds of unique seedlings and plant them in various locations near the workshop, I can form a unique landscape of a forest of all phenomena... Strange trees from different regions, representing different abilities, and having different characteristics are planted in the same place..."

Just thinking about this scene, Xiang Guangtai was already a bit excited.

However, some unique tree species transplanted to other regions might cause foreign invasion at the tree level and affect the local ecological balance, so even if planted, they cannot be transplanted too much, but... Xiang Guangtai looked at the deep and huge Shenhe Forest in the distance.

Does this boundless huge forest really care about the invasion of foreign trees? The number of towering trees in Shenhe Forest is simply impossible to calculate!

The foreign tree species would probably be swallowed up not long after they invaded.

And Diglett will also gnaw on the roots of the trees. They don't seem to have any taboo trees, which is also a kind of ecological prevention.

After the cultivation was completed, Xiang Guangtai let Dou Jianqiao cut and harvest the branches of that huge oak tree and organize the firewood. At the same time, he let Cherubi go to make herbal medicine with him.

Celebi looked at Dou Jianqiao, who was cutting trees and practicing "Fury Cutter cancellation" at the same time, and felt it was very amazing, making an exclamation, but she didn't understand the high-level swordsmanship, so she soon ran to the door of the workshop.

Celebi flew lightly in the air, curiously watching Xiang Guangtai make Chinese medicine.

Cherubi shook the leaves on her head, and Xiang Guangtai picked one of them and combined it with other medicinal herbs obtained before to dry them.

"Use Sunny Day."

Xiang Guangtai gave the order. Cherubi shook her head. The leaves on her head would grow back immediately even if they were picked, but this is only limited to when her physical strength is sufficient.

"Cheru! ()o☆"

Cherubi used "Sunny Day"!

The strong sunlight shone on those medicinal materials. This is the most traditional "sun-drying method," which directly irradiates the medicinal parts with the energy of sunlight to transfer the moisture out and make the medicinal materials dry.

But this method is not suitable for all medicinal materials. For some berry-type medicinal materials, "oven-drying" must be used. And some medicinal materials cannot be exposed to the sun, otherwise, the medicinal value will be reduced. This part needs to be dried in the shade.

Adapting to local conditions by using fire kang, fire walls, or directly burning crop stalks, branches, firewood, etc. to provide heat to achieve the purpose of rapid drying. For juicy fruit-type medicinal materials, a temperature of 70-90°C can be used for rapid drying to avoid the destruction of nutrients in the fruit.

Xiang Guangtai vaguely remembered that more advanced Chinese medicine can add spores to adjust various medicinal properties, that is, Pokémon that can learn "Spore" can play a great role in the production of Chinese medicine. And some materials on Pokémon, such as Croagunk's poison, Seadra's spikes, can all be used as medicine.

Can try it later.

Celebi looked at the drying medicinal materials on the left and Dou Jianqiao's double-speed logging on the right. Time passed quickly. In about an hour and a half, Xiang Guangtai's medicinal materials were basically dried, and with the help of Pokémon, the speed was very fast.

"The first batch of medicinal materials is ready, now start grinding!"

Xiang Guangtai moved the dried medicinal materials into the medicine refining room of the workshop, prepared the grinding tools, and began to process the medicinal materials.

Before long, "Chinese medicine" was made.

"Completed a craft production!"

"Obtained: Unique Good Chinese Medicine!"

"Description and effect: After your unique processing, it can restore the Pokémon's life to a greater extent, but the taste becomes more bitter, and the Pokémon's friendliness will decrease. However, if fed to Pokémon that like bitter taste, it will not only not reduce their intimacy, but will make the intimacy improve."

"Gained knowledge: 1"

"Medicine Adaptability: Combining medicinal materials or Chinese medicine with corresponding berry juice will produce different flavors and can improve friendliness with Pokémon and strengthen the Pokémon's vitality."

Xiang Guangtai: "Eh, in this way, you don't have to worry about Chinese medicine reducing friendliness... Chinese medicine berry juice? This thing sounds a bit unpleasant... Is it really delicious?"

Following that, is Cherubi's craft reward.

"Cherubi helped you complete a work, harvested experience and growth."

"Gained knowledge: Medicinal Herb Cultivation — Medicinal herb cultivation efficiency +5%."

"Learned move: Grassy Glide."

"Cheru?"

Cherubi noticed her change. She turned around on the ground and then slid out all at once!

Grassy Glide!

A burst of Grass-type energy emerged from the place she slid, as if forming a grassland, but because this room was not big, Cherubi hit the wall, dizzy, and Celebi hurriedly flew down and supported her with a smile.

"Be careful when using new moves!" Xiang Guangtai shook his head.

Afterward, is a new random material clue.

Clue:

【Material: Soft Sand.】

【Acquisition location: Rock Mountain Ruins, Blackthorn City, Cave Depths, Natural Sand Pile, Lake of Rage, Cianwood Beach.】

【Corresponding craft: Unique glass burning craft.】

Oh, it's Soft Sand that can increase Ground-type power!

"Glass burning, it seems that the forging room can be used frequently in the future. I heard that glass art products sell very well in the Kanto region."

Xiang Guangtai took out a juicer from the cabinet. The juicer looked like a Seadra.

Put the harvested berries into it and beat them into juice, then pour the partially ground Chinese medicine into the cup, and according to the content of the knowledge in his mind, choose to mix it, and soon four cups of berry juice were made.

"Okay, do you want to try it?"

Dou Jianqiao also returned. Xiang Guangtai placed the berry juice in front of the three Pokémon, and he also picked up a cup:

"I didn't use bitter berries to make juice, don't worry."

Oran Berry + Good Chinese Medicine (Healing Grass).

Rawst Berry + Good Chinese Medicine (Vitality Bud).

Chesto Berry + Good Chinese Medicine (Imperial Leaf).

"Cheru!"

Cherubi was the first to walk towards the berry juice, but her "medicine drinking" method was to stick the leaves on her head into the cup, and soon the Rawst berry juice was absorbed clean, and Cherubi immediately showed a pleasant expression!

"Cheru~ Wawa!"

Delicious!

"Rawst Berry is a berry with a faint spicy taste. The Vitality Bud contained in the added Chinese medicine ingredients can relieve an abnormal status."

After Celebi saw Cherubi drinking happily, she also followed suit, but she just drank water normally.

"Time!"

Sure enough, Celebi also showed a surprised expression. She drank the "Oran Berry + Good Chinese Medicine (Healing Grass)" cup!

"Oran Berry is a mixture of various flavors. Adding Healing Grass can restore the Pokémon's life to a greater extent."

The last cup was prepared for Dou Jianqiao, but this guy looked a bit scary when drinking water. The two red ribbons touched the cup wall, and they were still competing with each other, and then the water inside was gradually absorbed by the Ghost energy!

"Yo-pu! Yo-wu!" Dou Jianqiao's two eyes also widened.

The taste is really good!

"Of course, this is adjusted with Imperial Leaf. Imperial Leaf is known as the king of herbs, which can slow down the fatigue of Pokémon and increase the usage limit of moves."

Xiang Guangtai also drank the fourth cup of Chinese medicine berry juice. It was a mixture of Sitrus Berry + Resurrection Grass Leaf + Pecha Berry + Good Chinese Medicine (Imperial Leaf). The taste was quite magical. Astringent, sweet, bitter, and sour all seemed to be there, mixed into a mysterious juice, and the effect... was to fully restore the HP of 1 fainted Pokémon and strengthen the eater's vitality!

Xiang Guangtai felt that his fatigue gradually disappeared, and a vigorous vitality began to pour into his body!

Speaking of which, if he mastered the real "Berry Juice Mixing Craft," if there is such a craft... could he make "Nutritional Drinks"?

Nutritional drinks, which are various "enhancers"!

The three Pokémon exchanged berry juice with each other, and later they all stared at the last cup in Xiang Guangtai's hand. They all surrounded Xiang Guangtai. Celebi sat on Xiang Guangtai's lap, Dou Jianqiao floated behind, and Cherubi stood on his left shoulder, constantly making requests!

"Alright, alright, I will make more!"

Xiang Guangtai was helpless. The berry juice in his hand was taken away by Celebi, and Cherubi and Dou Jianqiao were also tasting it. The three little ones soon made comfortable and satisfied sounds.

Xiang Guangtai got up, took out a notebook, and wrote down the records.

"Celebi, a Pokémon from Shenhe Forest."

"Ability: Natural Cure."

"Bold personality."

"Met in front of the abandoned workshop."

"Doesn't like spicy taste."

"Strong curiosity."

And in this cabin, in a corner that no one cared about, behind the old pendulum.

The E-shaped Unown looked enviously at the Pokémon and Xiang Guangtai who were interacting.

He is also a part of this family, and this place was originally his residence!

Last time he messed things up, and he hasn't dared to show up until now. The guys below look so happy... Really envious!

He, he must pick a time to show up!

Unown E couldn't bear this joyful atmosphere, only feeling that the joys and sorrows between Pokémon were not connected. It penetrated out of the house through psychic power!
