Chapter 1212: Hijacking the Ship
The Grey Knight standing at the very front raised his left hand, palm open.
A translucent Psionic Shield formed instantly, blocking all attacks completely.
Energy Beams rippled against the shield, solid projectiles were twisted into fragments, rockets detonated prematurely, and shockwaves and flames were isolated by the shield.
At the same instant, the other four Grey Knights vanished rapidly from their positions.
The first Grey Knight appeared in the center of the group of soldiers.
His Heavenly Punishment Demon-Cleaving Halberd swept out.
The halberd blade sliced across the bodies of six soldiers.
Because the temperature of the blade was too high, the wounds were instantly cauterized and sealed.
Six corpses fell simultaneously, their Third Eyes still open, but their pupils had already dilated.
The second Grey Knight appeared on the right side of the vehicles.
Three soldiers were attempting to adjust their firing angles.
The Grey Knight smashed down directly with his power-armored iron fist.
The first punch shattered a skull, the second crushed a throat, and the third pierced a chest.
The third Grey Knight charged toward the security personnel at the checkpoint.
Those security guards were still trying to flee, but the speed of the Grey Knight was beyond what they could imagine.
The halberd shaft swept, breaking the lumbar vertebrae of two; the halberd tip thrust, piercing one heart; a backhand kick snapped the cervical vertebrae of the last one.
The fourth Grey Knight's target was that Colonel.
The Colonel had already discarded his empty Rifle and was firing wildly with his Pistol.
Energy Beams sparked against the Grey Knight's armor but left no marks whatsoever.
The Grey Knight walked up before him, looking down at him.
The Colonel's Third Eye was filled with despair. He raised his Pistol, aiming it at his own head.
He would rather commit suicide than fall into the hands of these monsters.
But the Grey Knight was faster.
The Heavenly Punishment Demon-Cleaving Halberd thrust toward the gun in his hand.
The halberd tip pierced the gun body, twisting the entire weapon into fragments.
Then the halberd shaft swept, shattering the Colonel's knees.
The Colonel let out a scream and collapsed to the ground.
The Grey Knight grabbed his hair, lifted him up, and brought him before Yingzhou.
"Your Majesty. Target secured."
Yingzhou looked at the Colonel.
"Where is Valken?"
The Colonel shook his head desperately, making vague sounds in his mouth.
His tongue had been bitten off during the previous impact.
Yingzhou frowned.
"Useless. Eliminate him."
The Grey Knight's fingers tightened.
The Colonel's neck bones shattered, and his head hung down at an eerie angle.
The corpse was tossed aside onto the ground, piled together with the other twenty-plus bodies.
The battle ended.
The checkpoint had turned into a slaughterhouse. Fresh blood stained the ground, and corpses lay in disarray.
Several armored vehicles were still burning, emitting billows of black smoke.
Alarm sounds came from afar; someone had already discovered the anomaly here and was calling for reinforcements.
Yingzhou looked at the five Grey Knights.
"Clear the scene and cover our entry into the Starport. Target: Seventh Berth, the 'Three-Eyed Glory' family ship."
"As you command."
The five Grey Knights saluted in unison, then dispersed.
The Seventh Berth was about three kilometers from the checkpoint.
The Starport was already in chaos.
Alarms blared one after another, and the broadcast repeatedly played the notice: "Emergency situation, all personnel take cover in place."
Passengers and staff fled in all directions, screaming as they searched for cover.
Some foolish security personnel attempted to Intercept them, but upon seeing the five Grey Knights, everyone chose to flee.
No one could stop them.
The Heavenly Punishment Demon-Cleaving Halberd danced through the corridors, each strike claiming a life.
At the first intersection, five security personnel attempted to set up a roadblock.
The Grey Knight's halberd blade sliced through, five heads flew up simultaneously, and the corpses were still twitching as they hit the ground.
At the second corner, a group of soldiers rushed out from the side, wielding heavy weapons. The Grey Knight's Psionic Shield blocked the first wave of fire, then the halberd shaft swept, breaking the lumbar vertebrae of six men.
The remaining three tried to flee, were caught by Psionic Lightning, and burned to cinders.
In the third area, a group of civilians hid inside a shop, watching them pass by in terror.
The Grey Knight ignored them, casually flicking out a bolt of Psionic Lightning.
Yingzhou walked in the center of the formation, his gaze fixed straight ahead.
His psychic perception covered the entire Starport.
He could "see" the reinforcements that were rushing over, at least three companies, more than two hundred men, surrounding them from different directions. They had about four minutes until arrival.
There was enough time.
"Increase speed."
He said.
"By your command, Emperor!"
The five Grey Knights accelerated simultaneously, shifting from a normal walk to a rapid charge.
At the entrance to the Seventh Berth, a squad of soldiers was urgently setting up defensive fortifications.
They pushed over cargo crates and mounted heavy weapons, attempting to block the passageway.
Seeing the five Grey Knights charging over, the soldiers screamed in terror and fired wildly.
But the outcome was already sealed: total annihilation.
The entrance to the Seventh Berth stood open.
The Three-Eyed Glory was docked fifty meters ahead.
It was a medium-sized family vessel with a deep blue paint job and a three-eyed snake emblem on the hull.
The boarding ramp had already been lowered, and ten crew members stood by the ramp, staring at the scene before them in stunned silence.
What were they seeing?
That Major Alan, covered in blood.
Corporal Kelan, standing in the center of five giants wearing silver-grey Power Armor.
"Ma... Major..."
The captain stammered.
"This is... this is..."
Alan walked up in front of him.
"The ship is requisitioned. You have thirty seconds to decide: obey orders, or die."
The captain's Third Eye widened as he looked at Alan, then at the five Grey Knights, and then at the corpses covering the ground.
"We... we are just ordinary crew... we don't want to be involved in any..."
He did not finish his sentence.
Alan's Star God Phase Sword slashed across his throat.
The captain fell.
Alan looked at the remaining nine crew members.
"Thirty seconds have passed. You chose death."
She took a step forward, and the sword light flashed again.
The second crew member fell.
The third.
The fourth.
The fifth.
The remaining four crew members finally reacted, screaming as they ran toward the boarding ramp, wanting to escape back into the ship.
But Alan's speed was much faster than theirs.
The sword light flashed repeatedly.
Three fell.
The last crew member had already run onto the boarding ramp and was about to rush into the hatch.
A pale green light caught up to her, piercing in from her back and exiting through her chest.
She collapsed onto the boarding ramp, her body twitched twice, and then she stopped moving.
Alan retracted her sword and turned to look at Yingzhou.
"Cleanup complete. Control of the ship has been acquired."
Yingzhou nodded and boarded the ramp.
The five Grey Knights followed closely behind.
After entering the ship, Yingzhou stood in the center of the Bridge, his psychic perception rapidly scanning the structure and systems of the entire vessel.
"Power system normal, navigation system normal, weapons system... no need for concern. Initiate takeoff sequence, target coordinates: Shenyuan Star."
Alan had already sat down at the main console. Her fingers danced rapidly across the control panel, inputting a series of commands.
"Engine preheating. It will take four minutes to reach takeoff thrust."
"There is enough time."
