Chapter 1246: This Primarch, Too Terrifying
The atmosphere in the hall turned tense in an instant.
Those spectators who did not want to stir up trouble retreated one after another, fearing they would be dragged into this conflict.
Sanguinius remained calm.
"What does that have to do with me?"
He repeated the question, the corners of his mouth slightly raised.
"Kesi, I will ask you a question."
"Ask."
"Do you know why the Feng Qi Xing Alliance was destroyed?"
Keluo Nuo Si was stunned for a moment.
"Because they were weak."
"No."
Sanguinius shook his head.
"Because they did not know their place. They thought they could oppose us. They thought that having so-called 'allies' meant they could bargain with us."
He took a step forward.
"And the result? Their armies were annihilated, their government surrendered, and their planets were annexed. Those self-righteous fools are currently mining on resource planets."
Kesi's expression changed slightly.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, if your Keluo Ke Empire also wants to try, we can change the place and change the time. But right now, this is the territory of the Xiuluo Holy Star Alliance. In my territory, you must follow my rules."
Keluo Nuo Si was silent for a few seconds, then burst into loud laughter.
"Rules? You, a Primarch, want us, the Keluo Ke Empire, to follow your rules? Sanguinius, you think too highly of yourself; even the Feng Qi Xing Alliance wouldn't dare speak to me like that."
He turned around and waved to his companions.
"Let's go. This dump isn't worth staying in anyway."
They walked toward the exit.
But they had only taken three steps when an invisible force descended from the sky.
That force was so vast, so heavy, and so irresistible that all the Aliens, including Kesi, were instantly pressed flat onto the ground.
Sanguinius stood where he was, his eyes burning with golden light.
His psychic power surged out like a tidal wave, covering the entire hall, covering every corner of the orbital station, and even extending to those warships docked outside.
"I said, in the territory of the Xiuluo Holy Star Alliance, you must follow the rules of the Xiuluo Holy Star Alliance. You want to leave? You can. But you must follow the procedures of the Xiuluo Holy Star Alliance."
Kesi lay on the ground, his four eyes filled with shock.
He wanted to struggle, wanted to resist, but that force was too strong—so strong that he could not even move a single finger.
In the hall, hundreds of Aliens from various factions were all pressed to the ground, shivering.
They had only one thought in their minds.
This Primarch is too terrifying.
But right there among the crowd pressed to the ground, a few Aliens remained standing.
Sanguinius's eyebrows arched slightly.
His psychic projection was enough to suppress any ordinary Alien.
Yet these few Aliens before him were actually standing?
He scrutinized them carefully.
There were seven Aliens in total, standing in the corner of the hall.
Their appearances were all different.
Some looked like reptiles, some like mammals, and some even looked like some kind of crystalline lifeform.
But they had one thing in common: their auras were all extremely powerful, powerful enough to resist his psychic pressure.
Leading them was an Alien that looked like a lizard, about two and a half meters tall, covered in deep green scales.
His three pairs of compound eyes looked calmly at Sanguinius.
"Lord Sanguinius, please withdraw your psychic power. We have no hostility."
Sanguinius looked at him.
"Who are you?"
The Lizardman bowed slightly.
"My name is Sulajie, from the Yinsan Alliance. We are a faction from the central region of the Bode Star System; we came here only to watch the gladiatorial combat and are not participating in any political activities. We have no hostility toward the Xiuluo Holy Star Alliance, nor will we interfere in your affairs."
Seeing that the other party spoke so politely, Sanguinius withdrew his psychic power.
Those Aliens in the hall who had been pressed down scrambled to their feet one after another, gasping for air.
Kesi glared fiercely at Sanguinius, but said nothing more and left dejectedly with his subordinates.
Seeing Kesi leave, Sanguinius signaled to the Blood Angels Space Marine behind him; the Blood Angel understood and spoke over the communication channel.
"Aliens claiming to be from the Keluo Ke Empire wish to leave; intercept and detain them outside the planet."
"Understood."
Sanguinius walked up to Sulajie and looked down at him.
"The fact that you can resist my psychic power proves you are not simple. Why not consider taking advantage of the chaos in the Xiuluo Holy Star Alliance to loot?"
Sulajie's ugly mouth widened, and he said humbly.
"My Lord, you think too highly of us. We do have some strength, but compared to the Xiuluo Holy Star Alliance? We are far behind. We have seen too many civilizations rise and fall in the center of the Bode Star System and know when to advance and when to retreat. In the current situation, this is not the time for us to advance."
Sanguinius raised an eyebrow.
"So you are just here for sightseeing?"
"Yes. We have investments here, wagers placed, and normal commercial activities. Eris is one of the few places in the Bode Star System where one can watch gladiatorial combat between races, and our citizens enjoy coming here for entertainment."
He paused.
"Of course, it is under the jurisdiction of the Xiuluo Holy Star Alliance now. If you do not permit such activities to continue, we can accept that. We only hope to be able to leave through the normal procedures."
Sanguinius looked at him and spoke.
"You are very clever."
Sulajie bowed.
"Having lived in the Bode Star System for several thousand years, one inevitably learns a few things."
Sanguinius nodded.
"Good. You may leave through the normal procedures. Register, undergo inspection, and then be on your way. As long as you do not cause trouble, we will not make things difficult for you."
Saladin bowed again.
"Many thanks, my lord."
He turned around and nodded to his companions.
The six Aliens followed him toward the exit.
Upon reaching the doorway, Sulajie looked back.
"My lord, there is something I am not sure whether I should say or not."
"Speak."
"The Keluo Ke Imperium is not like those small factions you have encountered before. Their strength is greater than the combined might of the Ashes, Canaan, and Daikong. They have suffered a loss today and will not let this matter rest. You... take care."
The corners of Sanguinius's mouth curled up slightly.
"Let them come. We are waiting."
"Then I wish you good luck, my lord."
