Chapter 1433: Airborne Assault on Iron Tooth Star

On the Bridge of the Sons of the People Chapter flagship "Blazing Sun," Iron Tooth Star appeared in view.

The entire surface of the planet was covered in grey-brown wasteland, with a dense cluster of urban buildings near the equator; that was the location of the Wangzuo Ting of the Broken Bone Empire.

Sebastian stood before the observation window, looking at the planet before him.

"Comrade Chapter Master, reconnaissance report."

The Adjutant walked over and pulled up the Holographic Star Map.

"No Orc fleet was detected in the orbit of Iron Tooth Star; their ships have all landed on the planet's surface, distributed in several bases around the Wangzuo Ting.

The ground defenses are dense, with Anti-Air Cannons, Rune Shield Generator-like devices, and energy signals from giant combat units.

The main Orc force is assembled on the wasteland east of the Wangzuo Ting, with approximately 120,000 elites and about 1,000,000 ordinary warriors.

But there are still a large number of Orc Buluo in other areas of the planet, scattered near mines and factories, where many Human compatriots are also being held."

Sebastian's brows furrowed slightly.

"The Orc fleet landed on the surface; they intend to fight a ground war."

The Adjutant nodded.

"Yes, they know they are no match for us in space, so they hid their ships on the ground, using Anti-Air Cannons and shields for protection. The ships' cannons can serve as ground fire support while preventing us from conducting orbital bombardment."

Sebastian nodded and said.

"Mark the locations where the main Orc force is gathered, as well as the detention points for our Human compatriots; mark them all clearly."

The Adjutant added markers to the Holographic Star Map.

The main Orc force was on the wasteland east of the Wangzuo Ting, with dense dots of light covering an area of dozens of square kilometers.

The Human detention points were countless dots of light scattered across seven large regions, some near mines, some beside factories, and some on the edges of cities.

Sebastian pressed the Communication Device.

"Attention all units, there are many Human compatriots distributed on Iron Tooth Star, and some small detention points are scattered among the mines and Buluo.

The main enemy force is concentrated in the area east of the Wangzuo Ting, but there are still large amounts of scattered Orc armed forces in other regions of the planet.

We need to rescue our compatriots while simultaneously wiping out the main Orc force."

Replies from various companies came through the Communication Device.

"Received."

Sebastian continued.

"Some warriors will be organized into rescue squads to rescue our compatriots. The remaining troops, prepare for a frontal airborne assault to engage the main Alien force. Tailin Family, Knight Mechs will drop thirty minutes after the frontal airborne assault to provide ground fire support."

The Adjutant recorded quickly.

"Comrade Chapter Master, how many people are needed for the rescue squads?"

Sebastian said.

"A total of five hundred people; the rest, follow me for the frontal airborne assault."

The Adjutant stood at attention.

"Understood."

Sebastian turned around to face the Communication Device.

"Tailin Family, please reply if received."

A steady voice came through the Communication Device.

"Tailin Family received; Knight Mechs are ready and can drop at any time. Please designate the landing coordinates and time."

Sebastian said.

"Your Task is to land ten kilometers east of the Wangzuo Ting; coordinates have been sent. Wait for the drop order. The target is the Orcs' Rune War Colossus; your mission is to destroy those giant combat units and cover the ground troops' advance."

"Received, the Knight House will arrive on time."

Sebastian turned off the Communication Device and looked at the Holographic Star Map.

"Adjutant, how much time is needed for the frontal airborne assault troops to prepare?"

Sebastian asked.

The Adjutant checked the time.

"Twenty minutes. The drop pods have finished loading, and the Knight Mechs are still undergoing final calibration."

Sebastian said.

"Have the warriors get ready; the Aliens here are clearly prepared, but we won't back down!"

The Adjutant nodded.

"Yes."

Sebastian pressed the Communication Device.

"All rescue squads, move out. Target: various detention points on Iron Tooth Star."

Replies came through the Communication Device.

"First squad received."

"Second squad received."

"Third squad received."

Sebastian turned off the Communication Device and looked at the star map.

The assault ships carrying the rescue squads detached from the fleet and flew toward the surface of Iron Tooth Star; their targets were scattered in every corner of the planet.

"Comrade Chapter Master, all rescue squads have departed, expected to land in fifteen minutes."

The Adjutant reported.

Sebastian nodded.

"Comrade Chapter Master, the frontal airborne assault troops are making final preparations. The drop pods have finished loading, and the Knight Mechs have also finished calibration."

Sebastian stood up.

"Notify all units, prepare for frontal orbital drop. After the drop pods eject, the Knight Mechs are to be ready to land at any moment."

The Adjutant stood at attention.

"Yes."

Sebastian pressed his Communication Device.

"Sons of the People Chapter, all companies. Orbital drop countdown, thirty seconds. Target, the wasteland east of the Wangzuo Ting. Task, eliminate the main Orc force."

A uniform reply came through the Communication Device.

"Received."

Sebastian walked into the drop pod.

The hatch closed, the countdown ended, and the drop pod ejected, falling toward the surface of Iron Tooth Star.

Outside the window, starlight twisted within the flames.

Behind him, rows of drop pods trailed long wakes, flying toward Iron Tooth Star.

"Comrade Chapter Master, I wish you success."

The Adjutant said in a low voice.

He turned around, facing the Communication Device.

"Tailin Family, land on time, thirty minutes after the frontal drop."

A reply came through the Communication Device.

"Tailin Family received, ready to begin at any time."

Iron Tooth Star, the wasteland east of the Wangzuo Ting.

Red drop pods streaked across the sky like a meteor shower, dragging long trails of fire, dense and numerous.

Goke stood in the trench, raised his head, his Liaya gleaming yellow in the firelight, the Rune Yinjì on his body glowing, the red lines on his grey-green skin looking like cracked magma.

"They're here! They're here! The Two-legged Sheep are here!"

The Orc warriors nearby raised their Battle Axe, letting out ear-piercing roars.

Goke gripped his Battle Axe and bellowed.

"The Broken Bone Empire is waiting for them here."

In the sky, the first batch of drop pods pierced through the clouds, heading straight for the wasteland.

The Orcs' Anti-Air Cannon opened fire, Energy Beams weaving into a net in the sky, hitting several drop pods.

Golong stood on the high ground of the trench and bellowed.

"Prepare for battle!"

The Orc warriors in the trench raised their weapons and roared in unison.

"Broken Bone is undefeated! Broken Bone is undefeated! Broken Bone is undefeated!"

On the platform of the Wangzuo Ting, Gokazi looked up at the sky, his cape flapping in the wind behind him.

"High Priest, have the fighters take off. Shoot those drop pods down."

The High Priest turned and waved to the Orc officers behind him.

"Take off! All fighters! Take off!"

In several bases around the Wangzuo Ting, the Orcs' Rune Zhanji began to lift off.

The fighters climbed, flying toward those red drop pods. Their cannons opened fire, carving streaks of light across the sky.

In the sky, the Auxiliary Army Valkyrie Transport of the Sons of the People Chapter dove down from a higher altitude.

"Valkyrie Squadron, enemy aircraft spotted. Numbering about two hundred, requesting engagement orders."

The pilot's voice echoed in the communication channel.

"Engagement approved, clear all enemy aircraft, cover the landing of the drop pods, for the Emperor!"

"Received, for the Emperor!"

The Valkyrie Transport group scattered and engaged in a dogfight with the Orc fighters.

One Valkyrie latched onto the tail of an Orc fighter, its Laser Cannon firing continuously, the Energy Beam striking the Orc fighter.

Another Orc fighter rushed over from the side, its cannon hitting the wing of a Valkyrie.

"Valkyrie Three is damaged."

"Maintain formation."

In the sky, explosions occurred one after another.

Orc fighters were shot down one by one, debris scattering everywhere.
