Xiujinzhongke watched the flames rising in the direction of the Imperial City in the distance; behind him, Fengke and Ruifowawa frowned deeply.

The indicator light on the Communication Device suddenly lit up; Xiujinzhongke walked quickly to the communication console and pressed the answer key.

"This is inside the Imperial City... His Highness Kesi is trapped... the Imperial City is in chaos... requesting support... in the name of suppressing the Riot... enter the city as soon as possible."

"Received, the garrison is entering the city, please hold on."

The communication cut off, and he turned to look at Fengke and Ruifowawa.

"The brothers inside the Imperial City cannot hold on; we must enter the city now."

Fengke walked to his side and looked toward the Imperial City.

"There are garrison troops at the base entrance; they will not let us out easily."

Ruifowawa said.

"Then we fight our way out."

Xiujinzhongke raised his hand.

"Don't be impulsive yet; we need to preserve our strength to go inside the Imperial City, gather all our soldiers, and set off in ten minutes."

The order to assemble was given; the soldiers ran out of the barracks and lined up on the open ground.

Xiujinzhongke stood at the front of the formation, looking at those faces blurred in the night, his four eyes scanning every person.

Xiujinzhongke did not slow down; he walked up to the Sergeant, his four eyes staring at the other party.

"The Imperial City is in a Riot, His Majesty is trapped. We have received an emergency order from the Imperial City to go and suppress the Riot; clear the way immediately."

The Sergeant's gaze shifted back and forth between Xiujinzhongke and the soldiers behind him, and he said hesitantly.

"Sir, without an official document from superiors, I cannot..."

Fengke walked out from behind Xiujinzhongke and said in a cold tone.

"No official document? The Imperial City is in a Riot, and His Majesty's safety hangs by a thread. You are here talking to me about documents? If His Majesty is disturbed, if the Imperial City falls, can you bear that responsibility?"

He pressed forward one step.

"Clear the way, and you can live. If you don't, you are a sinner who delayed military operations; choose for yourself."

A soldier walked over and smashed down with his gun butt; the crying stopped abruptly.

Another soldier pushed aside the corpse blocking the way and continued forward.

Ruifowawa's face twitched slightly, but he did not stop his pace.

There was no way back; mercy and hesitation would only kill everyone, he could only move forward, charging toward the direction of the Imperial City.

At the second intersection, a group of rioters was smashing the rolling shutter door of a shop; seeing the army rushing over,

The voice of Kechasaili came from the city wall, carrying a hint of mockery and triumph.

"Xiujinzhongke, you are approaching the Imperial City in the middle of the night with an army; is this suppressing a rebellion or a rebellion itself?"

He stood on the city wall, his four eyes looking down at the army below, a cold sneer hanging on the corner of his mouth.

Xiujinzhongke did not answer; he raised his Energy Gun and aimed it at the city gate.

"Who do you think you are? Do you think you can breach the Imperial City just by bringing a few thousand men? You will never get in."

Xiujinzhongke shouted to the soldiers behind him, "Assault! Break the gate!"

The battle was on the verge of breaking out; Ruifowawa stood behind the main force, directing the artillery to fire at the city walls to suppress the defenders' firepower.

After about half an hour, the metal gate of the Imperial City's main entrance was breached.

Xiujinzhongke was the first to rush in, his Energy Gun firing continuously, knocking down several guards who rushed to meet him.

The shouts and battle cries of the soldiers behind him echoed before the city gate.

Inside the Imperial City, dense footsteps and shouting could be heard in the corridors.

"His Highness Kesi! We have come to save you! His Highness Kesi!"

Deep within the Imperial City, in the Emperor's bedchamber.

Keluoke Ershisi Shi leaned against the bed, hearing the battle cries and gunfire from afar drawing closer.

Keluoke Ershisi Shi spoke.

"Your men have entered."

Kesi said.

"Yes, Father, they have entered."

Keluoke Ershisi Shi said.

"You have won."

Kesi replied with a smile.

"Father, what are you saying? What do you mean I have won? I am merely trying to resist before being purged."

Keluoke Ershisi Shi raised his hand to let Kedixi in the corner come forward.

Kedixi walked forward, knelt before Keluoke Ershisi Shi, and said.

"Your Majesty."

"My time is running out, the Keluoke Imperium... must not fall to Kesi... Kesi, what are you doing!"

Keluoke Ershisi Shi saw Kesi lift Kedixi up from behind, then exert force with his hand; before Kedixi could even speak, his neck was crushed.

Kesi tossed Kedixi's corpse back into the corner and asked Keluoke Ershisi Shi in a calm tone.

"Father, why can't you just try to trust me? Is there something I did poorly that made you feel worried?"
