Chapter 195: Destroying the Hatchery

Following the death of the Dominator Bug, the Zerg attacks outside the Hatchery became chaotic.

The Sergeant of the Attila Barbarian Cavalry, noticing that the Zerg attacks were no longer as methodical as before, adjusted his tactics.

He led the Attila Barbarian Cavalry in a charge out of the swarm, circling the chaotic Zerg and opening fire.

Inside the Hatchery, Yingzhou slowly lifted his Chainsword; the roaring Chainsword was dripping green blood, drop by drop.

Yingzhou gave it a casual flick, shaking the blood off the Chainsword.

Only after receiving the system notification did Yingzhou confirm that this Dominator Bug was thoroughly dead.

At this moment, Yingzhou saw a few Human children locked together in a corner. Yingzhou walked over and discovered that these children were already dead; they must have been the ones who did not survive the transformation.

"At least you died as Humans, and did not turn into those hideous monsters."

Those Guard Bugs were also mostly slaughtered by the Death Korps of Krieg soldiers and the Catachan toughs by now. The Zerg inside the Hatchery were in total disarray; having lost the control of the Dominator Bug, these Zerg had no idea what to do and could only act on instinct.

Outside the Hatchery, Peng Luo saw the commotion coming from the Hatchery and said to the comrade beside him.

"There seems to be a situation over at the Hatchery, should we go take a look?"

"That wouldn't be good, would it? Didn't the Commander tell us to wait for his signal?"

A soldier stood up, looked at the situation at the Hatchery in the distance, and spoke up.

"Yeah, we just need to wait for the signal from the Commander now," another soldier agreed.

"Uh, that's what was said, but, did the Commander ever say what kind of signal he would send?" Peng Luo rubbed his head and asked, puzzled.

Li Fan walked quickly into the command tent, looking excited. "Regiment Commander! The Hatchery at the 10th Position has been destroyed! The Dominator Bug was also killed by Yingzhou!"

"What? That Dominator Bug was really taken care of?"

Jia Zhenliang looked at Li Fan in disbelief, and after the other nodded again, he said happily.

"Hahaha, no wonder the Chief had Yingzhou go kill the Dominator Bug. Did he know all along that Yingzhou could take care of the Dominator Bug?!"

"Regiment Commander, the other few Hatcheries we are facing now don't have Dominator Bugs. We can try having the Commanders of nearby positions send troops to destroy them."

Li Fan calmed his excited heart and spoke to Jia Zhenliang.

"Good! Let's do that! Once those Hatcheries are destroyed, those Zerg won't be able to threaten the area defended by our Legion for the time being."

Jia Zhenliang nodded, agreeing with Li Fan's proposal.

"Also, the Sixty-Sixth Corps has submitted a request for air support to the Military District. It seems things aren't going very smoothly over at the Sixty-Sixth Corps."

Li Fan paused and continued to report the news from the Military District today to Jia Zhenliang.

"After all, Lao Chang is dead, and now only Xiong Zhongdao is there holding things up. The battle situation isn't optimistic. I wonder what the Chief plans to do?"

Jia Zhenliang nodded, his tone quite emotional.

"Has a Commander been sent to the 10th Position? It's time for Yingzhou to come back. I haven't met the person yet; is he really as incredible as you all say?"

"One has been sent. He should take over Yingzhou's affairs in a few days, and you'll be able to see him then."

Ji Bu looked at a group of burly men training in the distance and muttered to himself, "How exactly did these soldiers grow to be like this? Is that kid Yingzhou's ability so versatile? I wonder if he succeeded in killing the Dominator Bug."

The person in charge of the Recruit Training Camp standing to the side said to Ji Bu, "Chief, where did you find these soldiers? If there are many of them, we might have a massive source of troops, and fighting the Alien Race will no longer be a problem."

"How are they training here?" Ji Bu asked.

"Excellent. Aside from not having the ability of a Back Spirit, they are no worse than our own soldiers."

Just then, Ji Bu's Guard stopped a signal soldier, chatted with him for a few moments, and then walked quickly to Ji Bu's side and said in a low voice.

"Chief, the Dominator Bug at the 78th Legion has been killed by Yingzhou. Now the 78th Legion is having troops from other positions destroy the other few Hatcheries that have lost the Dominator Bug's control."

Ji Bu raised an eyebrow and hurriedly asked.

"And Yingzhou? Did he sacrifice himself?"

The Guard clearly hadn't expected Ji Bu to say that, stood stunned for a moment, and then said.

"No, he did not sacrifice himself. Including the three soldiers he took out, they all returned to the 78th Legion's 10th Position completely unharmed."
