Chapter 474: No Wonder They Would Awaken Them
"For the Emperor!"
Fuderi fixed his eyes on a direction, shouted, and then charged toward it.
Two War Dog Space Marines followed closely behind, shouting the same.
"For the Emperor!"
The Frost Hunters surrounding them did not expect the enemy to commit such a reckless act; in a situation where they did not know the direction or where the enemies were, wasn't doing this just throwing their lives away?
Changkasheng immediately expanded the range of the Frost Mist to prevent these three tall Humans from rushing out of it, and ordered the other Frost Hunters.
"Attack!"
19 Frost Hunters struck in unison, 19 Frost Long Blades glowing with a pale blue light, either stabbing or slashing, aimed directly at the vital parts of the three War Dog Space Marines.
Their attack speed was very fast, and the pale blue glowing Frost Long Blades left deep scratches on the Power Armor of the War Dog Space Marines after hitting them.
"What is up with their Armor? Our attacks didn't break their defense!"
A flash of surprise crossed the reddened pupils of a Frost Hunter, who said in disbelief.
The next second, this Frost Hunter felt themselves locked on by a killing intent; regarding this killing intent, the Frost Hunter felt no fear, but rather spoke to themselves with some excitement.
"Interesting, with such strong killing intent, the hunt will be interest..."
Before the Frost Hunter could finish speaking, they saw an iron fist slamming toward their face from bottom to top.
The Frost Hunter quickly retreated, the Frost Long Blade slashing toward the iron fist in front; the pale blue Frost Long Blade swung down and collided with a roaring Chainaxe.
Seeing the opponent block their attack, Fuderi chuckled inwardly.
Idiot, I've got you!
Fuderi's right arm began to exert force, the Chainaxe erupted with a roar, pressing the Frost Hunter's arm until it bent.
"Damn it, I am clearly taller than him, the strength he uses should be greater than mine!"
Watching their own continuous exertion fail to withstand the one-handed force of the opponent, the Chainaxe began to force its way toward them.
The other Frost Hunters nearby saw this and immediately swung their respective Frost Long Blades to slash at Fuderi.
One War Dog Space Marine, under the cover of the other War Dog Space Marine, raised the Bolter in their hand and began to fire into the Frost Mist.
Amidst the sound of the Bolter, Fuderi heard a few sounds of falling; the Frost Alien that had been about to attack them near them seemed to have also been hit by the Bolter, retreating to avoid the more intense firepower.
Even the Frost Hunter under Fuderi's Chainaxe was hit in one thigh by a bolt; the Frost Hunter, having lost a thigh, instantly lost balance and fell to the ground, the Chainaxe slashed down, cutting into the Frost Hunter's energy armor, the dark blue Energy Core continuously maintained the defense of the energy armor, and this Frost Hunter who had lost a thigh also grabbed their dropped Frost Long Blade and stabbed at Fuderi's chest.
Seeing this, Fuderi extended their free left hand, gripped the wrist of the Frost Hunter holding the Frost Long Blade, and with overwhelming force twisted the Frost Hunter's arm in the opposite direction; the Frost Long Blade grazed their own Power Armor, leaving a scratch, and then, this Frost Hunter was pierced through the neck by Fuderi using the Frost Long Blade they were holding.
Not until death truly arrived did this Frost Hunter know what kind of monster the tall Human in blue and white armor before them was; their strength was simply no match for these monsters, no wonder they would awaken them...
As their consciousness sank into darkness, the Frost Hunter's body also lost its strength, the energy armor on their body could no longer hold on, the dark blue Energy Core shattered, and the energy armor was torn apart by the Chainaxe as if it were made of paper, opening a large gash in the chest of this already dead Frost Hunter.
From Fuderi making contact to killing this Frost Hunter, it only took 12 seconds, which included the time for the Chainaxe to tear through the Frost Hunter's energy armor.
Changkasheng did not expect that at the moment they launched their attack, these three tall Humans who were originally charging recklessly would react so quickly to their attacks, especially that tall Human who fired the gun—the ammunition fired from the weapon in their hand could explode?
Just in the first exchange, they lost 4 Frost Hunters; three Frost Hunters were quite unlucky, as the bolts hit their cheeks directly, instantly blowing their heads apart.
Changkasheng suddenly felt that the three tall Humans in blue and white armor before them were somewhat troublesome, but as a Frost Hunter, and a powerful one among the Frost Hunters, their pride did not allow them to fear in such a situation.
Changkasheng slowly drew their Frost Long Blade, looked with reddened eyes at Fuderi, who had just opened a hole in the chest of a Frost Hunter with a Chainaxe, and spoke to the remaining 15 Frost Hunters in a serious tone.
"Three of you come with me to deal with this tall Human, the remaining two tall Humans you solve separately; they are standing very close to each other now, I will take people to attract the attention of one tall Human first, and when the other two tall Humans want to follow, you intercept them, we will solve them one by one."
After a pause, Changkasheng thought of the miserable state of the four Frost Hunters just now and added a sentence.
"When necessary, you can activate the Energy Core to make a final stand!"
Upon hearing Changkasheng's words, these Frost Hunters revealed solemn expressions, stopped speaking, and silently divided into three squads, waiting for Changkasheng to make a move.
Changkasheng locked their gaze on Fuderi, who was carrying the Chainaxe on their shoulder; the energy armor emitted a pale blue light, strengthening Changkasheng's physical fitness.
Feeling the change in their physical fitness, Changkasheng only felt that they were in excellent condition now; the two Frost Long Blades crossed each other, and they charged toward Fuderi with speed so fast it left afterimages.
Fuderi looked at the Frost Alien killed by them and said to their two brothers in the communication channel.
"These Aliens are much stronger than the ones we encountered before; they are a bit like the Alien I killed earlier, who seemed to use some method to overdraw their own life to obtain powerful strength."
The War Dog Space Marine holding the Bolter said noncommittally after hearing Fuderi's words.
"Is this the desperate counterattack of those Aliens before they die?"
"It seems there are still these Aliens around; these Frost Mists have not dissipated, so we cannot detect their positions."
Another War Dog Space Marine looked around and said in a calm tone.
"It doesn't matter; these Aliens do have some strength, but that's as far as it goes. They should still launch attacks, pay attention to the abnormalities around."
Fuderi carried the Chainaxe on their shoulder and reminded the two War Dog Space Marines behind them.
As soon as the words fell, Fuderi felt a burst of killing intent, and two Frost Long Blades appeared from their right side, slashing toward them.
