Chapter 494: The Counterattack of the Elemental Lands (2)

~7 min read 1,287 words

The crystalline blue dome of the Temple suddenly rippled, and a water-colored vortex appeared out of thin air.

Clear water flowed down, carrying fine ice crystals, and condensed into a translucent humanoid figure the moment it touched the ground.

The Water Elemental Patriarch Selina stepped down the liquid stairs with grace; as her skirt billowed, phantoms of deep-sea jellyfish swam within, and the liquid earrings dangling from her hair resonated with the aquamarine atop her Scepter, creating an ethereal echo.

"The resonance frequency of the Elemental Giant Rock must be recalibrated."

She spoke before her form had fully solidified, her voice arriving ahead of her.

"The Cyberk's Anti-Elemental Force Field severely suppresses our elementalization; we must find a way to counter the Cyberk's Anti-Elemental Force Field."

The entire Temple trembled slightly, and spiderweb-like golden patterns cracked open on the floor.

The Earth Elemental Patriarch, wrapped in a robe, walked in through the Temple gates; the granite-textured robe was inlaid with shimmering pale yellow crystals.

"To neutralize the Cyberk's Anti-Elemental Force Field, we must find the core of the Anti-Elemental Force Field."

His deep voice caused the crystal chandelier to tremble.

"And the Cyberk's Anti-Elemental Force Field is usually at the very rear; our warriors would be captured by the Cyberk before they could ever reach it."

The flames around Chidanjin suddenly surged three feet higher, and the surrounding temperature rose significantly.

"Are we just going to let those Cyberk attack our people? Is there no other way?"

"Chidanjin, don't get excited; you've raised the temperature of the Temple quite a bit."

Selina waved her right hand in front of her, and droplets of water appeared around her, which were quickly evaporated by Chidanjin's flames.

"Hmm, don't we still have the Zerg cooperating with us?"

The air suddenly condensed into a pale green entity; the Wind Elemental Patriarch transformed into a translucent figure, leaning against a pillar, and the tornado rotating in his hand swallowed all of Chidanjin's scattered flames.

"We can open our battlefield with the Cyberk at a location very close to the Zerg, then notify the Zerg and have them help us destroy the Cyberk's Anti-Elemental Force Field."

He flicked a swirling current from his fingertips and added.

"It would be best if we could attract a portion of the Cyberk's attention, allowing our warriors to destroy those fellows' weapons and equipment."

Just then, the Water Elemental Patriarch Selina tapped her Scepter lightly, and a water mirror appeared in the air.

In the image, thousands of Cyberk were setting up Prism devices at the border of the Elemental Race, each mirror surface refracting the painful appearance of imprisoned Element Spirits.

"They are using the elemental energy of our kin to neutralize the defensive mechanism of the Element Rainbow Bridge."

Selina's face, composed of a water curtain, rippled with anger.

"The top priority is to cut off this blasphemous energy link."

The Earth Elemental Patriarch tapped the floor with his heavy knuckles, and a sand table emerged on the Temple floor.

Scarlet elemental light points representing the Cyberk forces were already wandering within the territory of the Elemental Race.

"The Cyberk are not attacking us now, perhaps because they are calculating how to take our territory and people with minimal losses; we cannot give them the chance. The opportunity for battle is fleeting; we cannot wait for the Cyberk to launch another attack on us!"

Just then, on the highest seat within the Temple, a figure sat upon the throne; he did not appear with great fanfare like the other Elemental Patriarchs, as if he had been sitting on the throne all along.

"Your Highness!"

The Temple Elder was the first to salute the blond man sitting on the throne, and the other Elemental Patriarchs followed suit.

"I have already grasped the general situation. I have already sent the Great Elder to contact the Zerg, and the Zerg's response is that they will actively cooperate with our offensive to curb the momentum of the Cyberk's attack!"

After hearing the blond man's reply, the other Patriarchs spoke up one after another.

"Your Highness, when shall we send our troops? To rescue our kin?"

The blond man extended his fair palm and waved it, saying.

"Do not be impatient; things must be done one step at a time. I will not abandon any kin who has been captured, but this is not a problem that can be solved by rushing."

Upon hearing the blond man's words, these Elemental Patriarchs finally closed their mouths.

"Then, once the war begins, who shall serve as the vanguard?"

"Leave this matter to the Thunder Guard."

The Temple Elder's thunder Scepter tapped a few times on the map, and countless lightning patterns instantly crawled across the strategic sand table, converging into purple elemental light points.

"I have already sent the Antinuoya squad to the border to place the Elemental Giant Rock. Once the Elemental Giant Rock is placed, we will be able to seize part of the initiative on the battlefield, and the Thunder Guard will hold off the pressure of the Cyberk on the battlefield."

The blond man nodded slightly, his pale golden helmet looking at the entire sand table, and he spoke again.

"The Element Rainbow Bridge requires the activity of elemental particles to be increased; this must be prepared."

The Wind Elemental Patriarch looked at the entire sand table with jade-like pupils and said in a serious tone.

"Your Highness, in three hours, the Rainbow Bridge will enter its peak elemental particle activity, at which time the conduction efficiency of all elemental spells will increase by 300%."

As he spoke, he used cyan elemental light points to outline the range that the Element Rainbow Bridge could cover.

The flames around Chidanjin suddenly compressed into a dark red; this was a sign that the Molten Race was entering a combat state.

"My people are already prepared for battle; we only need one Rainbow Bridge to be deployed to the front line and burn those Cyberk to Ashes!"

She turned to look at Selina, "But we need the Azure Water Realm's Clear Water Barrier to cover the surprise attack."

"The Tidal Legion is on standby."

The aquamarine atop Selina's Scepter reflected a pale blue light.

"We can create an Elemental Domain; when the Cyberk attempt to use electromagnetic shields to neutralize the high temperature, the Elemental Domain will trigger water-fire dual-phase annihilation."

The Earth Elemental Patriarch narrowed his eyes, and the ground suddenly rose to form a miniature mountain range model; he said in a low voice.

"Then we shall use Ley Line tremors from the rear to change the current battlefield terrain of the Cyberk."

The blond man raised his right hand, and his palm suddenly erupted with dazzling light.

The Element Rainbow Bridge descended from the Temple dome, corresponding to the elemental attributes of the Patriarchs present.

"In the name of the Element Temple,"

His voice echoed within the vast Temple, and he said in a solemn tone.

"Initiate the operation plan to rescue our kin and counter the Cyberk."

"As you command!"

When the golden-haired man's combat command transformed into physical Runes and branded themselves onto the dome, the entire Temple suddenly levitated.

The Elemental Patriarchs of each race also departed one after another, returning to their respective tribes to begin gathering their warriors and heading toward their own race's Element Rainbow Bridge.

For a time, the entire Elemental Land began to seethe; the news of the Cyberk abducting members of the Elemental Race during this period had made every Elemental in the Elemental Land feel furious, and after the order to deploy troops was issued, the Elemental particles in the Elemental Land became quite a bit more jubilant.
