Chapter 584: Legion Engagement (1)

Command post of the 86th Legion.

Fang Xianmo could clearly feel his heartbeat quickening; he had never imagined that one day he would be able to see the Emperor up close!

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

The sound of the artillery battery behind the hills firing interrupted Fang Xianmo's thoughts. He quickly walked out of the command post and arrived at the top of the hill, seeing dark green fog surging toward the established defensive positions. The shells from the Basilisk Self-Propelled Artillery flew into the fog, blasting up fragments of green flesh and blood.

As the dark green fog surged forward, Randall at the first line of defense was preparing to organize his brothers for battle when he heard a whistling sound overhead. He saw several Valkyrie Transports firing into the dark green fog first; under the fire support provided by the Valkyrie Transports, a Human Alliance Transport Plane appeared in the sky above.

As the cabin door slowly opened, five silver-white figures leaped down from the transport's passenger cabin first, followed immediately by 20 blue-and-white figures.

After landing, the Grey Knight Dregoen slowly pulled the Heavenly Punishment Demon-Breaking Sword that had been thrust into the ground out. Blue light lit up on his sharp-angled helmet, and he whispered.

"Aliens! Feel honored! You will witness our Loyalty to the Emperor!"

As he spoke, the Heavenly Punishment Demon-Breaking Sword in Dregoen's hand lit up, and with one strike, he slashed a rushing Swift Bug in two. The speed at which Dregoen swung the Heavenly Punishment Demon-Breaking Sword was very fast, so fast that the airflow around him became abnormal.

Valantis said to the three brothers behind him who had just landed.

He leaped over the melting insect corpses, the Heavenly Punishment Sword splitting the fog and precisely piercing into the body of an Electric Gun Bug. The blue plasma splashed from the Electric Gun Bug's body was blocked by a layer of Psionic Barrier as it flew toward Dregoen's Holy Shield Power Armor.

Gadelion held the Heavy Incinerator Cannon with both hands, aimed at the Aliens rushing forward, and quickly pulled the trigger. The incinerator cannon spewed Sacred Fire, and the blue-white psionic flames burned the surging swarm to ashes.

Short, shrill shrieks of the Zerg came from deep within the dark green fog.

"Saifulesi, purify the Alien swarm on the left!"

After hearing Valantis's order, Saifulesi quickly finished off the Aliens in his hands and rushed to the position pointed out by Valantis.

Valantis's Heavenly Punishment Demon-Cleaving Halberd suddenly got stuck; an Electric Light Scythe of a Crystal Death Servant clamped onto the Heavenly Punishment Demon-Cleaving Halberd.

Valantis felt the Energy Force Field on the Alien's Electric Light Scythe and said with a somewhat surprised tone.

"I didn't expect that among these Aliens, there would actually be ones that come with an Energy Force Field! However... that is all!"

Psionic Runes lit up on Valantis's gauntlet, psionic power surged through his body, and he crushed the other incoming Electric Light Scythe with his bare hands.

"Aliens!"

As the psionic power shattered the Crystal Death Servant's Electric Light Scythe, the Heavenly Punishment Demon-Cleaving Halberd swung, once again slicing several purple energy crystals off the Crystal Death Servant's body.

"The carapace on its body is quite hard!"

Valantis used psionic power to suppress the Crystal Death Servant, aimed the tip of the Heavenly Punishment Demon-Cleaving Halberd at the Crystal Death Servant's head, and thrust it down violently. The Crystal Death Servant's head was pierced by the Heavenly Punishment Demon-Cleaving Halberd, and the struggling body soon stopped moving.

Yingzhou was different from the others; he was not wearing Power Armor, but his use of Spiritual Power allowed him to use Spiritual Power to slow his descent when he was about to touch the ground, and combined with his own physical fitness, it counted as a stable landing.

"Emperor!"
