Chapter 679: First Battle of the Warhound-class Titans (2)

When Falke arrived with a group of elite Demons from the Second Defense Zone to slaughter the Humans within the territory, his gaze was involuntarily drawn to those five silver-white figures.

"It's those silver-white cans! There are actually five of them! Now I'll make them know what pain is!"

But Falke's gaze was quickly drawn to the Humans standing in front of the five silver-white figures, who were mountain-like in stature and clad in green Armor; the sense of power radiating from their bodies—weren't those the perfect vessels to serve as his own avatars?

"Those five Humans in silver-white Armor, you must be careful; they can use a type of energy similar to the Black Qi within us. When you deal with them, pay attention, don't trip up."

"However, these Humans can actually imitate the Cyberk and manufacture such iron lumps; have they already clashed?"

Falke said to the 8 Demon Generals behind him, watching the five Warhound-class Titans wreaking havoc below.

"You go deal with those five Humans in silver-white Armor, and let the 5 Ash-Crag Disaster Beasts deal with those five iron lumps."

"Yes! Lord Falke!"

At this moment, Falke's gaze turned toward Vulkan, who was holding a Warhammer, and Falke was astonished to discover that the other's reddened eyes were also staring in his direction.

"Interesting. I didn't expect him to be able to sense my location. He's grown so tall; could he have some special connection to that Yingzhou?"

"Roar——!!!"

Five deafening roars tore through the clamor of the battlefield!

From behind the churning Black Fog and burning ruins, five moving volcanoes—Ash-Crag Disaster Beasts—stepped onto the battlefield!

Their stature was even more massive than the Warhound Titans, standing 23 meters tall and reaching 43 meters in length!

Their skin was cooled, cracked volcanic rock, with the blinding red light of Lava seeping through the fissures.

With every step they took, they left burning footprints on the ground, and the volcanic vents on their backs spewed rolling thick smoke and deadly sulfur steam.

"Ash-Crag Disaster Beasts! Crush those tin cans!"

A Demon General roared from the rear, his voice filled with fanatical anticipation.

"The Emperor protects... what the hell is that?!"

A Cadian soldier's voice faltered; the scorching heat and oppressive aura radiating from those five giant beasts were suffocating, even from hundreds of meters away.

"Ultra-high energy geothermal and blasphemous psychic signals detected! Threat level: Extreme! Target locked! Fire! For the Omnissiah!"

The Titan captains issued their commands faster than before.

Ten thick Laser Beams shot out instantly, aimed directly at the heads and chests of the five Disaster Beasts!

Almost simultaneously, five scorching "Volcano Breaths," like waterfalls of Lava, erupted from the giant maws of the Disaster Beasts to meet the lasers!

"Sizzle——!!!"

The lasers and the torrents of Lava collided violently in mid-air!

Blinding white light and violent crimson energy intertwined, annihilated, and exploded crazily!

A massive energy shockwave spread outward, blowing away nearby Demons and rubble!

The air was ionized, emitting a terrifying shriek!

"Sizzle—hum—hum—hum—hum——!!!"

The Vulcan Mega-bolters on the left arms of the five Warhound Titans issued another death sentence!

Five torrents of crimson metal storms roared, sweeping toward the relatively fragile leg joints and the bellies supporting the bodies of the Disaster Beasts!

"Puff puff puff puff puff——! Clang clang clang clang——!"

Dense Heavy Bolter rounds struck the molten rock armor of the Disaster Beasts, emitting dull impact sounds!

Large amounts of rock fragments and molten slurry were blasted away; the Disaster Beasts let out pained roars, their footing clearly staggering.

A large chunk of one Disaster Beast's knee was forcibly blown off by the dense bolter fire, and dark red molten blood sprayed out, scorching the ground!

"Roar——！！!"

The injured Ash-Crag Disaster Beasts were completely enraged! Ignoring the ongoing bolter storm, their massive molten ball-hammer tails swung toward the Titans with a shriek that tore through the air!

At the same time, their thick, pillar-like forelimbs were raised high, carrying the force of ten thousand jun and scalding Lava, intending to trample the Titans to pieces!

"Thud!!! Boom——！！!"

Heavy impact sounds and explosions rang out in succession! The molten ball-hammer slammed hard against the Titans' Void Shields!

"Sizzle——! Bang！！!"

Blinding blue-white electric arcs erupted instantly! The Void Shields fluctuated violently, and the arcs leaped onto the tails of the Disaster Beasts, scorching their rocky skin!

One Disaster Beast's heavy hoof stomped down hard! The Void Shield of one Warhound Titan finally overloaded and collapsed after sustaining multiple attacks! The massive molten foot stepped directly onto the Titan's metal chest plate!

"Crunch——！！!"

The ear-piercing sound of twisting metal was bone-chilling! The Titan's massive frame was forced to tilt backward, its hydraulic system emitting a sharp hiss! The chest plate deformed and melted under the high temperature and immense force!

"Void Shield failure! Left chest plate severely damaged! Machine Spirit is enraged!"

For the first time, the captain's voice carried a frantic alarm!

"For the Machine God! Melee protocol initiated!"

The captain of another Titan that had not been stepped on roared.

The captain of the Titan that had been stepped on bellowed.

"With Steel and fury! Counterattack!"

Its intact right-arm Twin-linked Laser Cannon desperately pressed against the ankle of the Disaster Beast trampling its chest, charging at point-blank range!

"Boom——！！!"

A blinding laser erupted at zero distance!

The Disaster Beast's thick ankle was instantly melted through by the energy impact, which was powerful enough to vaporize warship armor!

Molten blood and shattered rock exploded like a volcanic eruption!

"Roar—ow——！！!" The Disaster Beast let out an earth-shattering wail, its massive body losing balance and crashing backward, collapsing a patch of burning ruins!

The volcanic vent on its back went Out of Control due to the excruciating pain and loss of balance, spewing Lava and sulfur steam wildly, turning the surroundings into a sea of fire!

The other Titans also seized the opportunity!

A Titan precisely aimed its Twin-linked Laser Cannon at the volcanic fissure core on the back of another Calamity Beast, which was moving slowly due to a leg injury!

"Purge the Heretic! Fire!"

"Boom! Boom!"

Two lasers poured precisely into that massive fissure! The lava energy accumulated within the Calamity Beast was instantly detonated by the external force!

"BOOM——!!!"

A deafening explosion! The Calamity Beast was like a volcano detonated from within, its massive body bursting apart from the inside!

Burning rocks, fragments of the lava core, and a destructive shockwave swept through everything in the vicinity!

Several nearby Lesser Demons were instantly vaporized!

A third Calamity Beast had its lava-filled giant leg forcibly severed after two Titans concentrated a torrent of bolter fire on the same leg wound!

Having lost its support, the Calamity Beast wailed as it fell, only to have its skull pierced by a subsequent laser cannon shot!

A fourth Calamity Beast attempted to trigger a Ley Line detonation; it stomped hard, and the ground beneath the Titans bulged violently, on the verge of tearing open and erupting!

"Evasive maneuvers! Maximum power!"

The Titan captain reacted with lightning speed.

The Warhound Titan displayed a level of agility inconsistent with its massive frame, its heavy footsteps retreating rapidly.

The very moment they left their original position, a violent fountain of magma shot into the sky, but it only managed to Devour the nearby low-rank Demons that failed to dodge in time.

"Target exposed! Focus fire!"

The two retreating Titans and one nearby immediately aimed their muzzles at the Calamity Beast, which was briefly stationary due to casting its spell!

A combined strike of lasers and bolter rounds slammed fiercely into its torso and skull!

Its sturdy rock armor peeled away and shattered under the saturated fire, and finally, its chest lava core was pierced by a laser beam!
