Chapter 935: The
When Aolana returned to the main area of the Command Center, General Suo'er was discussing plans to reinforce the Starport shields with several engineers.
Suo'er noticed Aolana had returned and spoke to her.
"Ms. Aolana, I was just about to send someone to notify you. Based on the intelligence transmitted back by Kashika, we judge that the enemy will likely arrive at the Starport within twenty-four hours. Considering the safety of you and Academician Tuowake, I suggest you relocate to a secure area."
Aolana shook her head slightly and spoke.
"Thank you for your kindness, General Suo'er. But as a representative of the Daikong Star Alliance, I must stand with our Fengqi allies at this time. However, I do have one request: could you arrange an emergency departure channel for our diplomatic ship, the 'Star Language'? This will ensure that no matter how the battle develops, the intelligence we have gathered regarding this emerging threat can be safely sent back to the Daikong Star Alliance."
Suo'er stared at Aolana, and after a moment of Silence, he nodded.
"A reasonable request. I will order the airspace control department to reserve an emergency channel for the 'Star Language'. I hope it will not be needed."
"I sincerely hope so as well."
While General Suo'er was busy redeploying the Starport's defenses, Academician Tuowake had already quietly left the Command Center and headed toward the 'Star Language'.
Tuowake passed identity verification and stepped onto the Bridge.
"Academician."
Captain Daluosi greeted Tuowake.
Tuowake did not engage in small talk and went straight to the point.
"Captain Daluosi, the situation is critical, far exceeding our initial estimates. The Kashika fleet has been completely wiped out, and the strength the enemy has displayed... is unsettling."
Tuowake connected his portable Data Pad to the ship's main control system.
"This is first-hand combat data I just obtained from the Fengqi Command Center regarding that 'Xiuluo Holy Star Alliance', including their ship characteristics, weapons, and... combat footage of their super-soldiers."
Captain Daluosi saw the combat footage flashing on the screen.
"Are these... some kind of combat robots? Or biological?"
"Preliminary analysis suggests they are highly modified biological units combined with Power Armor technology. Their tactical style is seasoned, and their technology tree is unlike any civilization we have known. This poses a potential threat to the Daikong Star Alliance."
Tuowake completed the data transfer and backup, ensuring that even if the 'Star Language' met with misfortune, this intelligence could still be sent back to the Daikong Star Alliance.
"Captain, ensure the ship is in a state ready for emergency warp at any time. Preheat the engines for ignition, preset three backup navigation coordinates, and avoid the known border areas between the Fengqi and... Xiuluo spheres of influence. Once you receive my signal, or a direct order from Ms. Aolana, immediately initiate the departure procedure and exit the combat zone at maximum speed."
"Understood, Academician."
After making the arrangements, Tuowake did not linger.
As an important hub in the southern part of the Feng Qi Xing Alliance, Fengrao Starport itself might contain technology or research projects valuable to the Daikong Star Alliance.
In peacetime, it would naturally be inappropriate to touch these secrets belonging to an ally, but now that the Starport was in imminent danger, once it fell, these achievements would either be destroyed in the flames of war or fall into enemy hands.
Rather than that, it would be better for the Daikong Star Alliance to "safeguard" them.
Utilizing his special authorization as a member of the high-level diplomatic mission, as well as the partial temporary access codes General Suo'er had previously given out of trust, Tuowake accessed the non-public research database network of Fengrao Starport.
Tuowake avoided conventional military technology, as those held little novelty for the Daikong Star Alliance.
Tuowake began copying core data and experimental records of certain projects, and before long, an encrypted communication request connected to Tuowake's personal terminal.
Tuowake finished the transfer of the current file and switched to the communication interface.
Aolana's virtual image appeared.
"Academician Tuowake, how is the preparation of the 'Star Language'?"
"Everything is ready, Ms. Aolana. All key intelligence has been backed up, and Captain Daluosi is on standby, ready to depart at any time."
"Very good. General Suo'er just informed me that long-range sensors have detected abnormal spatial fluctuations; the enemy fleet may arrive sooner than expected. You... try to stay near the docking bay."
"Understood. I am organizing some final technical observation reports. How is the situation on your end?"
"General Suo'er is conducting the final pre-battle mobilization, and morale... is barely being maintained. He still hopes to rely on the Starport's defenses to create a miracle. I reconfirmed the emergency departure authorization for the 'Star Language' with him, and he agreed, but I think he is not without reservations about it in his heart. Keep the communication open."
Aolana said this last, then ended the call.
Tuowake put away the terminal and continued his unfinished work.
Tuowake felt as if he were racing against time; every byte of precious data successfully stolen meant one more bargaining chip for the Daikong Star Alliance in the potentially volatile interstellar landscape of the future.
He held no personal malice toward the Fengqi, and even felt some admiration for the courage of General Suo'er and those ordinary soldiers, but in the game at the civilizational level, emotion was a luxury.
Meanwhile, after ending the communication with Tuowake, Aolana walked toward General Suo'er, who was in final consultations with the defense force Commander, and said in a heavy tone.
"General, the Daikong Star Alliance stands with the Feng Qi Xing Alliance. We will provide support in every possible way, including using our ship's advanced sensors to provide you with earlier warnings."
"General, the Daikong Star Alliance stands with the Feng Qi Xing Alliance. We will provide support in every way possible, including using our ship's advanced sensors to provide you with earlier warnings."
"Thank you, Ms. Aolana. Every bit of extra warning time is crucial."
Aolana's brain was racing, evaluating the various possibilities of how the battle would develop.
How long could the Starport shields hold? How much damage could the orbital turrets inflict on the enemy's large ships? Once boarding actions occurred, how chaotic would it get inside?
What was the optimal time to leave? Was it the moment the shields were broken? Or after confirming that the enemy landing forces had successfully breached the interior of the Starport?
Leaving too early would make the Daikong Star Alliance appear treacherous, affecting future diplomacy with other factions; leaving too late, and the 'Star Language' might be drawn into the combat airspace or even be locked onto by the enemy.

"Hyperspace jump exit detected! The quantity... my god! The quantity is massive! Coordinates confirmed! The Xiuluo Holy Star Alliance Capital Ship fleet... has arrived!"
On the main screen of the Command Center, at the edge of the star map, a patch of blood-red light dots was rushing toward Fengrao Starport!
Aolana quietly retreated to a corner of the Command Center, avoiding General Suo'er's line of sight, her finger pressing lightly on a micro-beacon transmitter hidden under her sleeve.
The signal was sent silently to the 'Star Language' at the second docking bay.
It was time; this play was nearing its curtain call. It was just unclear whether the fall of Fengrao Starport would be the final chapter of this grand play, or the prologue to an even greater tragedy.
