Chapter 102: Commission Mission

After several people finished their meal, Qin Ge said to everyone.

Starting today we will be taking on commission missions, so I will also outline our fleet's work focus for the coming period here.

Nengdai, Banrenma, and Belfast will take turns doing commissions with me, while the rest remain at the school to continue classes and training.

As for the first commission, Banrenma, Belfast, and I will go together. Nengdai will stay at the academy, and next time you will replace Belfast.

Nengdai nodded at Qin Ge, and everyone actually already understood yesterday, under Ou Gen Qin Wang's analysis, what today's result would be, so there was little surprise or astonishment.

Thus, after Belfast finished packing, Qin Ge brought her and Banrenma to the door of Guanghui.

With Qin Ge's knock, Guanghui quickly opened the door.

"Good morning, Commander Qin Ge, as well as Miss Banrenma and Belfast; good morning." Guanghui, upon seeing the visitors, smiled and said to everyone.

"Good morning, Guanghui." Qin Ge said with a smile.

"It seems Commander Qin Ge is ready to go on the commission mission; let's go now." Guanghui said to Qin Ge.

"Don't you need to prepare a bit?" Qin Ge asked somewhat puzzled, after all, no matter what, Guanghui is a girl, so having no preparation at all and going on a commission with him was somewhat unexpected to him.

Guanghui, while closing the door, smiled at Qin Ge and said, "No need, because our lodgings are merely a resting place for us. After such a long time on the front lines, we've grown accustomed to setting out immediately upon receiving a mission, so any time is fine."

Qin Ge nodded deeply moved, for his unit in his previous life was the same. As soon as a situation arises, there is little time to prepare, and one must rush to the scene.

"Then thank you, let's go together to take on the mission." Qin Ge said to Guanghui.

"All right." Guanghui nodded with a smile and walked toward the warehouse together with Qin Ge and the others.

Just as the Prince of Wales had said yesterday, the commission missions for the academy students are all collected here at the warehouse of the Ninghai sisters.

As for why it's here, it's because the school lacks the procedures of the Maritime Affairs Bureau, so once a mission is completed, it can be submitted directly at the warehouse and the mission reward obtained.

However, if it were at the Maritime Affairs Bureau outside, it would be more troublesome than at the school. Because after delivering at the mission hall, one still needs to take the mission success slip to the exchange counter of the Maritime Affairs Bureau to make the exchange.

But this is also why the Maritime Affairs Bureau does this, to keep the mission hall from becoming overly crowded and chaotic; as for the front lines, there will be a dedicated exchange point for battle achievements, distributing supplies via mail to the various grand fleets.

On the way, Qin Ge actually didn't say much more to Guanghui, because Banrenma had taken up the seat beside Guanghui. After all, Guanghui is a fully experienced carrier shipgirl, so for Banrenma, who is eager to improve her strength, she truly is the best teacher.

Both are Royal carriers in origin, and both their equipment configurations are fighter planes and torpedo planes.

Furthermore, after Banrenma's second breakthrough, all her fighter planes increased by one, so she can now launch four fighters and two torpedo bombers simultaneously, and her combat power has greatly increased.

Because the warehouse is not far from Qin Ge's room, the group arrived there very quickly.

"Good morning, Commander Qin Ge." Ninghai greeted them as soon as she saw Qin Ge and the others approaching; but when she saw Guanghui following behind Qin Ge, she was momentarily startled, then immediately reacted.

"Hello, are you Miss Guanghui, the friend the dean mentioned earlier?"

"Yes, but I am no longer a friend of the Prince of Wales; I am now Commander Qin Ge's protector, so there's no need to pay me much mind." Guanghui smiled and said to Ninghai.

Ninghai nodded, then turned to Qin Ge and said, "So you're preparing to go on a commission today? No longer resting for a day or two?"

Qin Ge smiled and said, "No need, since this opportunity came from a request to the dean, we naturally should cherish it especially."

Ninghai nodded and smiled, "Alright, follow me."

Following Ninghai's voice, she walked out of the warehouse counter, entered a room beside it, and Qin Ge and the others followed her inside.

Inside the room was a layout similar to a drill field reception hall, with several huge electronic screens on the four walls displaying all the current commission missions.

"This is our academy's mission commission room; here you can find the mission you want on the electronic screens, then come to me to register, and after registering you can go carry out the mission."

However, since we here are all newly second-year commanders with limited strength, these are mostly low-level missions, the rewards aren't high, but they are indeed sufficient for these newcomers to get practice.

Upon entering the room, Ninghai introduced Qin Ge and the others; following Ninghai's introduction, Qin Ge looked toward the large screens around the room, where the missions were dazzlingly numerous.

"Junior Ore Vein Defense Commission, requires 2 or more shipgirls, shipgirl level 10 or above, shipgirl types: destroyer, light cruiser, heavy cruiser; expected supplies gained 200-400, mission time: one day."

"Junior Timber Defense Commission, requires 2 or more shipgirls, shipgirl level 10 or above, shipgirl types: destroyer, light cruiser, light aircraft carrier; expected supplies gained 200-400, mission time: one day."

"Small Merchant Ship Escort, requires 3 or more shipgirls, shipgirl level 20 or above, shipgirl types: destroyer, light cruiser, submarine, submarine tender; expected supplies gained 310-450, mission time: one day."

"..."

Looking at the myriad missions, Qin Ge finally realized the saying Li Chenming often told him: "Once we reach second year, we can quickly cultivate our own fleet."

Indeed, with so many commission missions and ways to obtain supplies, a year is enough to cultivate two or more shipgirls.

"So, Master, which mission are you preparing to accept?" Belfast asked with a smile beside Qin Ge.

Qin Ge shook his head, his eyes fell on the mission board in the farthest corner, and then his eyes lit up.

"That one!"

Ninghai followed Qin Ge's finger, looked at that mission, and involuntarily nodded, "This mission is from the Maritime Affairs Bureau, but given your current fleet strength, you can also complete it, so are you sure?"

Confirmed!
