Chapter 152

"Grand Fleet Commander?" This time it was Wu Mengfan who exclaimed in surprise.

And with his outcry, more people in the Grand Hall turned their gaze here. After seeing Wu Mengfan's figure, they all felt somewhat doubtful, wondering if it was the Vice Commander of the Qi Meng Grand Fleet and this private discussing their Grand Fleet Commander's affairs?

However, not many people in this world enjoy watching the excitement, after all, in the Maritime Affairs Bureau everyone has their own affairs, so they merely glanced and turned their heads away.

But Wu Mengfan at this moment widened his eyes, "Instructor Qin Ge, so your private rank all along has been deceiving us, right?"

Qin Ge laughed and shook his head, "Nowhere, you didn't just hear Achilles say? He is the Star Sea Grand Fleet Commander, and also a commander of private rank."

"However, to apply for a Grand Fleet Commander, one must reach the rank of Captain Commander and have at least ten commanders agree to join your Grand Fleet before it can be established." Wu Mengfan said to Qin Ge.

And on the other side, Achilles was also doubtful looking at Qin Ge; being able to retrieve her from the Commander registration system shows Qin Ge's identity is legitimate. However, she has worked in the Maritime Affairs Bureau for so many years and has never seen a private-rank Grand Fleet Commander.

"This Star Sea Grand Fleet was directly applied for and processed by Bureau Chief Qinglong, so you need to consult her about the specific procedure." Qin Ge explained to the two.

"Bureau Chief Qinglong?" Wu Mengfan and Achilles exchanged a glance, both suddenly realizing.

Indeed, if one were to say who in the Maritime Affairs Bureau could bypass this regulation and register a private as a Grand Fleet Commander, it would only be the Director-General of the Maritime Affairs Bureau, Qinglong.

"So it was Bureau Chief Qinglong who did it, no wonder it could be registered in the Commander information list." Achilles looked at Qin Ge and said, "However, I'm curious why Bureau Chief Qinglong would handle this Grand Fleet Commander appointment for Commander Qin Ge."

Qin Ge gave a mysterious smile, "You'll have to ask Bureau Chief Qinglong about that."

"Eh, if you're not going to say, then don't say it; why use Bureau Chief Qinglong to pressure me?" Achilles, feeling his little thoughts exposed, said disappointedly to Qin Ge.

"I feel it's because Instructor Qin Ge's understanding of strategy and tactics, as well as his contributions to this year's Siren Tide, that led Bureau Chief Qinglong to appoint him as a Grand Fleet Commander." After the initial surprise, Wu Mengfan pondered and said to Qin Ge.

"Not much different, and indeed some of these reasons are involved." Qin Ge smiled.

"Being able to receive Bureau Chief Qinglong's acknowledgment, and having her personally handle the Grand Fleet procedures for you, it seems Bureau Chief Qinglong thinks highly of you." Wu Mengfan laughed, "Then I hope that in future battles, the Star Sea Grand Fleet can stand side by side with our Qi Meng Grand Fleet; I know very well how formidable Instructor is."

Qin Ge chuckled, "What are you talking about? Commanders ought to support each other; besides, your Qi Meng Grand Fleet has been established for a long time, so afterward our Star Sea Grand Fleet should properly learn from your Qi Meng Grand Fleet."

"Hehe, let's learn from each other, but ultimately, the Star Sea Grand Fleet under Instructor Qin Ge will surely gain fame across the entire Blue Star." Wu Mengfan said affirmatively.

"Although I'd like to say a wishful compliment, my conviction won't let me say those words." Qin Ge told Wu Mengfan, "Then I will surely lead the Star Sea Grand Fleet to fame across the entire Blue Star."

"Certainly." Wu Mengfan also nodded firmly.

He sincerely admired this instructor younger than himself, for he had experienced several Siren Tides. When the Siren Tide first arrived, their small-scale Grand Fleet basically had to exert all effort just to get through.

However, after studying the tactical knowledge of Instructor Qin Ge at the Commander Academy, this year's Siren Tide, although it also incurred some losses, compared to previous years, was simply a bountiful harvest.

"By the way, are you here today to accept a commission mission?" Qin Ge said to Wu Mengfan.

"No, I came to handle a rank promotion." Wu Mengfan said proudly.

"Rank promotion? So you're about to become a Lieutenant Colonel, congratulations." Qin Ge said to Wu Mengfan.

Wu Mengfan scratched his head, "All thanks to Teacher Qin Ge's good teaching, which gave me a solid performance in the Siren Tide, and later, thanks to some commission mission achievements, I can now be promoted to Lieutenant Colonel."

"Nowhere, theories are dead; it's you who can put them into practice. So don't thank me; thank your own efforts, thank your fleet girl's silent support, thank your Grand Fleet." Qin Ge said to Wu Mengfan.

"No matter what, I still need to thank Instructor Qin Ge; without you, I wouldn't have gained so much knowledge, nor would I have become a Lieutenant Colonel Commander this early." Wu Mengfan said to Qin Ge.

"Forget it, I won't say more; if we keep talking, the thanks will never end. I still need to go accept a commission mission; when we meet again next time, let's sit down and have a good talk." Qin Ge said to Wu Mengfan.

"No problem!" Wu Mengfan nodded, "Then Instructor Qin Ge, you go ahead and be busy; I'll go be busy too, see you."

"Goodbye." Qin Ge nodded and said.

Watching Wu Mengfan turn and walk toward a window, Achilles beside him said to Qin Ge, "It's clear he respects you."

Qin Ge chuckled, "That's called respect for knowledge; I believe he will certainly achieve something in the future."

"What you're saying is a bit too profound, but come with me now; I'll take you to the Mission Hall." Achilles said.

"Hmm, thank you." Qin Ge nodded and followed Achilles toward a side passage.

After passing through the passage, the three arrived at a hall filled with electronic screens. Compared to the many people in the outer hall, there were noticeably fewer people in the Mission Hall.

After all, many people leave the Maritime Affairs Bureau quickly after receiving their tasks, so those in the Mission Hall tend to be fewer.

"I believe you don't need me to explain the mission acceptance process again; just pick a task and register at the window." Achilles said.

Hmm. Qin Ge nodded, then raised his head to look at those mission boards.

At that moment, a red mission appeared in his view: "Emergency commission, support Dolunwa Island."

Then Qin Ge turned his head and said to Ājīlīsī behind him, "That's it, support Dolunwa Island."

"Go to Dolunwa Island?" Ājīlīsī exclaimed, "That's not a place suitable for a new commander. The Sirens' mass-produced warships there are basically around level 25..."
