Chapter 180: Identity Changed

Qin Ge said with a smile, "Actually, I earlier felt that you eleven people are already fully capable of undertaking our usual daily mission commissions and training."

So I decided to delay summoning new ship girls until graduation, so I would have time to personally command their training, and you can continue doing mission commissions as usual, so it won't be too tight.

"I see, then how many ship girls does the commander plan to summon this time?" Guanghui asked.

"I plan to summon two groups this time, that is, a total of six ship girls." Qin Ge said to everyone.

"Six?" Everyone exchanged glances, involuntarily looking at Qin Ge.

"Hmm, this time I want to summon an extra group, to conduct an experiment." Qin Ge said to everyone.

"An experiment?" Several people looked at Qin Ge doubtfully and said.

"That's right, an experiment." Qin Ge nodded, "Our training mode has always been primarily training, supplemented by tactical exercises and so on, then conducting training."

"But now I want to conduct an experiment: simultaneously summon two groups of ship girls, using different methods to improve their training level."

"One group will use our previous method, while the other group will be led by Guanghui and directly start undertaking mission commissions; I want to see which method yields greater improvement in training level."

"I see." Guanghui and the other ship girls nodded, then Guanghui said, "Actually, there have been commanders before who used the same method for cultivation, but the uncertainty was too great, so each time they gave up halfway."

"However, I think the commander can give it a try, because you still have one year to conduct a synchronous trial, and you can firmly grasp which training method is faster."

"So, let's postpone summoning ship girls until after the award ceremony." Qin Ge said to everyone, "After all, we still have another matter to attend to right now."

Ou Gen Qin Wang chuckled, "Commander, are you really going to participate in that competition?"

And the other ship girls also laughed at this moment, because what Qin Ge mentioned was the exercise competition held at the end of each school year.

When Qin Ge first came to the school, Anshan had already introduced this matter to him, so Qin Ge has always remembered it.

"If the commander, with our current strength, goes to compete with them for rankings, wouldn't that be a bit too bullying? You should know that among second-year students, the person with the most ship girls only has five, and their training levels are generally low, with no ship girls exceeding full-break training level."

"But we now have four full-break ship girls, one of whom even has full training level, and Ou Gen Qin Wang and her companions also have training levels over sixty; are you sure you're not going to bully them?" Luodenni laughed.

Qin Ge was about to say something when he heard footsteps on the stairs; everyone turned to see Belfast and Anshan walking up.

"Hello, Anshan, what brings you here today?" Qin Ge stood up and said to Anshan.

"Qin Ge, I came this time to ask you for a favor." Anshan said to Qin Ge.

"Tell me what it is; as long as I can do it, I will certainly give it my all." Qin Ge patted his chest and said.

"Hehe, it's not that difficult. I heard from the dean that you've finished all the courses you were supposed to take this week these past two days, so I'd like to ask you to serve as the referee for this exercise league." Anshan said to Qin Ge.

"Huh? Referee?" Qin Ge froze for a moment, and the ship girls behind him all burst out laughing.

"What's wrong? Did I say something wrong?" Anshan looked at the stunned Qin Ge and the ship girls behind him laughing in a bunch, and couldn't help asking.

"No, Anshan. It's just that earlier, when you weren't here, our commander was saying we should participate in this exercise league. Now you've come over and told him he doesn't need to participate in the exercise league because he's become the referee, so that's why." Ou Gen Qin Wang said.

"Huh? No way, Qin Ge, you really want to join the exercise league? With your current fleet, joining the exercise league would just be bullying people, wouldn't it?" Anshan also said helplessly.

Qin Ge smiled embarrassedly, "After all, although I am an instructor at the school, I am essentially still a first-year student, so wanting to participate in the exercise league isn't wrong, is it?"

Moreover, you still remember when I first entered the Commander Academy, you told me about the exercise league, so I've always wanted to try it, but plans didn't change quickly, and now my fleet has become like this.

But I still want to give it a try."

Anshan couldn't help but smile, "Actually, this is easy to say: after each exercise league ends, rankings are posted, and the top-ranked individuals have the right to challenge. Usually the challengers are commanders who graduated from our Commander Academy one or two years ago."

"However, this time I can swap the challenged slot for you, so that would count as participating in the exercise league, but there would be no reward; I don't know if you're willing."

"Is there such a thing?" Qin Ge said in surprise, "Of course it's fine; I'm just playing the demon king, so I'll wait for brave challengers to come."

"Hehe, but before that you need to become a qualified referee first." Anshan said with a smile.

"No problem, I will definitely be open, just, and ensure every match is fair." Qin Ge said to Anshan.

"By the way, not only you, but also your four full-break ship girls—Guanghui, Nengdai, Banrenma, and Belfast." Anshan said to Qin Ge.

"Okay, no problem; during these days of the exercise league we won't sortie for mission commissions, and will fully help you run the exercise league well." Qin Ge responded.

"That's really thanks to you." Anshan said delightedly.

"It's no problem; earlier, you and Fushun and Taiyuan also helped me a lot, and now I need to help, I naturally take responsibility." Qin Ge said to Anshan.

"Then it's settled: starting tomorrow, you and your other few ship girls will come to our residence, and I'll give you training on the points to note for exercise league referees." Anshan said.

"Okay, I'll definitely be there tomorrow morning." Qin Ge nodded.

"Alright, then I won't disturb you; I'll be waiting for you tomorrow morning at my residence." Anshan said to Qin Ge.

"Hmm, Anshan, take your leave slowly; Belfast, please see him off." Qin Ge said.

"Yes, master." Belfast nodded.

"Good." Anshan smiled and nodded, and seeing him off, Belfast left the reception house.

At this moment, Qin Ge turned his head, looking at the still-smiling ship girls and said, "It looks like we're participating in the exercise league in a different way now; then the few people just mentioned will go with me tomorrow to Anshan's place."

"Yes, commander."
