Chapter 339: Preparations Before Class
Although the roses in the garden were gorgeous, the smile of Ou ruo la, who was with Qin Ge at this moment, was even more gorgeous and transcending vulgarity.
The two stayed together in the rose garden for a long time, so that when they left the rose garden and returned to their own room, Qin Ge's whole body was filled with a faint rose fragrance.
He was still holding a rose that Ou ruo la had specially picked for him in the garden. Looking at the rose in his hand, Qin Ge couldn't help but smile, found a bottle, poured some water into it, placed the rose in the bottle, and set it on his desk.
Seeing a different color appear on the desk full of books, Qin Ge's heart instantly softened.
He smiled to himself, then sat down and continued to finish his work.
Because today is the day the opening ceremony is held, tomorrow will be the first day of school, and I, as the tactics instructor, will give the first tactics lesson. After that, the task will gradually be handed over to Koln.
So Qin Ge did not prepare to write for too long tonight, so as not to affect tomorrow's class. In fact, he did just that: when the time came to around 10:00 p. m., he stopped writing, did a little evening exercise, and then went to sleep.
This also let Belfast and Guanghui breathe a sigh of relief; I had previously thought Qin Ge would stay up late again tonight, but seeing him rest on time was truly great.
Nothing happened all night; when the second day arrived, a ray of morning light shone into Qin Ge's room, at which moment Qin Ge was standing before the mirror, and Belfast was helping him tidy his clothes.
"Master, will you still be giving today's lesson?" Belfast asked.
"That's right; Koln has just arrived and is not yet familiar with the environment of the Grand Lecture Hall, and she previously did tactical research, so she is not very skilled at lecturing. Let her first sit in on a few lessons, then do a trial lecture." Qin Ge said.
"Master, your consideration is truly thorough." Belfast smiled.
Qin Ge smiled and said, "This isn't a matter of being thorough or not; it's just some necessary things. By the way, are you going to train with them later?"
"Yes, although I am to be your personal maid, my training and strength must not fall too far behind the other ladies." Belfast said.
"Hehe, you truly are a perfect and suave head maid." Qin Ge smiled, "Then that's settled: you'll go train with them later, and I'll call Koln; afterwards we'll all go to the Grand Lecture Hall together."
"Then, Master, what are your plans after class?" Belfast asked.
"Gather Li Chenming and the others to start joint training at the training field; yesterday when I came back I already laid out the training program, so we can just start practicing according to the standard." Qin Ge said.
"Then we'll wait for you at the training field, Master." Belfast said.
"Sure, I'll notify them after class." Qin Ge said.
After speaking with Belfast, Qin Ge left the Reception House and went to Koln's house. When he arrived in front of the house, seeing some familiar houses, he couldn't help but smile, because previously he and Belfast had lived here.
Now this place has become Koln's house; according to the Prince of Wales, it was originally the house of the previous tactics instructor, and the new tactics instructor living here also counts as a inheritance.
If it weren't because Qin Ge now has far too many shipgirls, he might still be living in this house. Perhaps when he leaves school, Koln will move in then.
He shook his head, dismissed the thought in his mind, Qin Ge walked up and knocked on the house's door. Immediately a gentle yet firm voice came from inside: "Come in. Please wait a moment."
Not long after, the door opened, and Koln, wearing glasses, appeared before Qin Ge.
"Ah, Instructor Qin Ge, you've come so early?" Koln asked in surprise, "I remember there should still be about an hour before class; could I have remembered wrong?"
Qin Ge laughed and shook his head: "You haven't gotten the time wrong, Instructor Koln; there's still about an hour before class. But you also know my habit—I like to arrive there early."
"That's right; at the opening ceremony, Sanli Xianbei said the same." Koln gave a slight smile, then said to Qin Ge, "Please, Instructor Qin Ge, come in and wait a moment; I'll go inside to get something, and we'll leave right away."
"Sure, it's been a long time since I last came to this house." Qin Ge smiled, and under Koln's guidance they came to the living room and sat on the sofa.
"I actually forgot that this house was previously where Instructor Qin Ge lived; so, Instructor, you don't need to stand on ceremony—the furnishings haven't changed much from before, just make yourself at home. I'll go upstairs to get something and be right back." Koln smiled and then walked toward the stairs.
Although Koln said he didn't need to be formal, Qin Ge still maintained the courtesy due a guest, simply sitting on the sofa, looking at some familiar parts of the living room; that was enough for him.
After just a few minutes, Koln came down the stairs holding the notebook she often kept by her side, and said to Qin Ge, who had risen from the sofa, "Instructor Qin Ge, sorry for keeping you waiting; everything is ready now, we can set out."
"No problem, I didn't wait long either." Qin Ge laughed and said, "Then let's set out now."
"Mm."
The two left together; Koln casually closed the door, then followed the road in front of the gate all the way to the Grand Lecture Hall. Upon arriving at the Grand Lecture Hall, Qin Ge brought Koln to the instructors' lounge beside it.
"Here we can rest for a while before the class bell rings, organize our lesson materials, review again what I'm going to teach today, and make a simple summary; that will help my performance during the lecture." Qin Ge said to Koln.
Koln nodded with a smile, "Mm, I've remembered that, but I have a question I've been wondering about; I'm not sure whether I should ask it or not."
"Ask whatever question; I don't have many reservations here." Qin Ge smiled.
"That is, Instructor Qin Ge, did you feel nervous when giving your first lecture?" Koln asked curiously, "I recall the Prince of Wales Dean saying before that when you gave your first lesson, the Grand Lecture Hall gathered all the first- and second-year students plus a few instructors, about four hundred people."
"What was your state of mind then? Was there not even a moment of confusion and worry? Because I might encounter such a situation myself in a few days, so I want to ask you for some experience, Instructor Qin Ge."
