Chapter 612: A Message from the Primordial

~6 min read 1,163 words

In the deep sea, within the Siren outpost.

"Why did you summon me back so hastily? The mission's scheduled time hasn't even arrived, and I haven't had enough fun there yet." the Purifier said, somewhat displeased, as soon as she walked in.

But she soon fell silent, because she discovered that besides the Testers and the Observer, even the rarely seen Constructors and Cleansers had all come to the outpost.

"Huh? How did you all get here? What happened?" the Purifier said, somewhat puzzled.

Within the Siren organization, everyone has their own duties, so most of the time they are apart, and the five of them rarely get together.

But whenever the five of them gather, something major is bound to happen.

The Observer turned toward the Purifier and said, "Calling you back is certainly for a reason—first, tell me what you've been doing in that commander's harbor area all this time."

The Purifier gave the Observer a strange look and said, "You already know all this, don't you?"

The Observer smiled and said, "Just because I know doesn't mean others do, and as the party involved, I think you need to explain."

"Tsk." the Purifier said, "I've been eating well, playing around, and incidentally explained to them what transformation is in their harbor, and got him to start researching the Wisdom Cube. Overall, it's been very enjoyable—far more fun than here."

"So, Observer, did you summon me just to hear this childish talk? If that's all, my experiments in my region are still ongoing, and when I left, those annoying fellows were still searching all over for my laboratory." the Cleanser, who had double horns on his head and white hair, showed an impatient expression.

The Observer shook his head and said, "Of course not. I received a communication, one from the Primordial."

"The Primordial? How could that be?" the Purifier exclaimed, "Our existence is in the Numbered World, a virtual world outside the Primordial World and the Main World."

In this world our research direction differs from that of the Primordial World and the Main World; aside from data uploads, we hardly have any contact, so why would we receive a message from the Primordial World?

"That's why I summoned you all, because this message is unlike any before and contains a great deal of information," the Observer said with a hint of solemnity to everyone.

"What kind of message could make even someone as steady as you show such an expression?" the Cleanser asked strangely.

The Observer gazed at everyone and slowly said, "The war in the Primordial World has ended; a remarkable commander led his shipgirls across different worlds, wielding unprecedented power. He also crossed the barriers of time and space, reached the Primordial World, and eliminated X."

"Huh? Observer, are you sure you're not joking?" the Purifier said, eyes wide.

It wasn't just the Purifier; the others also wore looks of astonishment.

"So does that mean everything is over? Has the Adjudicator Plan been completed?" the Tester also said in surprise, clearly the Observer had not previously explained the details to her.

The Observer nodded and said, "This is a message sent from the Terminal, and it is Zero's voice, so there is no mistake. The Adjudicator Plan has been completed, and the Primordial World has returned to normal."

"What should we do now? Should the plan continue or be stopped? What about all these Numbered Worlds? Should we destroy the Terminal?" the Tester asked.

The Observer shook his head and said, "Perhaps other worlds will lose their way because of this, but our world will not."

"Why?" the Tester and the others asked, puzzled.

"Besides these words, Zero also asked an interesting question: whether our world has an exceptionally special commander named Qin Ge." the Observer said this while looking at the Purifier.

Everyone stared blankly for a moment, and the Purifier said strangely, "We know Commander Qin Ge is indeed special, but he doesn't seem to warrant the Primordial Zero's attention to that extent, does he?"

The Observer smiled and said, "But this has all happened, hasn't it?"

"I have reported the news of Commander Qin Ge in this world, and also submitted his current fleet and the situation from other worlds."

"What did Zero say?" the Purifier asked urgently. Having spent some time together, the Purifier still had some feelings for Qin Ge's harbor, so Zero's decision was very important to her.

"Zero's reply was quite strange, catching us off guard," the Observer said. "She instructed us to construct, as quickly as possible, a singularity and beacon to connect with the Terminal, and also gave us the coordinates of the Primordial World."

"What? Construct a beacon and singularity? Does that mean the Primordial World intends to send someone to this world?" the Tester exclaimed in surprise.

"Besides that purpose, I believe there is no other reason that would cause Zero to reveal the Terminal's coordinates of the Primordial World," the Observer said with deep meaning.

"Tsk, I suddenly feel this world will become very lively in the future," the Tester clicked her tongue.

"Yes, I believe so as well," the Observer chuckled. "For now, all plans are temporarily halted; hide your respective main units as best you can, and then we will work together to construct the singularity and beacon, striving to finish them in the shortest time possible."

"Then where should we construct the singularity and beacon?" the Constructor spoke up.

"The center of the Pacific Ocean; the site there is large enough," the Observer said.

"Understood." the Constructor nodded and then turned and left.

"I will first return to hide my main unit and will soon gather at the target point." after saying that, the Cleanser also followed the Constructor out, leaving only the Observer, the Tester, and the Purifier in the outpost.

"Observer, is the arrival of the Primordial World aimed specifically at Commander Qin Ge? Even without the Primordial World's intervention, we could destroy him with our strength—why mobilize so many forces? Could there be another reason?" the Tester asked.

"No, since Zero chose to inquire of all the Numbered Worlds, it's already destined that things aren't that simple. Moreover, I asked her this question too, but her answer was very vague."

"She merely said it relates to a plan, and it concerns all the shipgirls and us, even the adjudicating organ that has never appeared in this world, Yujin."

"What?" the Tester and the Purifier exclaimed in surprise.

"It is highly likely that if we complete this singularity and beacon, the adjudicating organ and Yujin may return to our world."

"That's why I just said this world will become lively in the future—just think, a Numbered World producing such an existence; hehe, I'm even a bit worried that this world might collapse right there." the Observer said with a squinting smile.

"Tsk, so the only thing we can do now is construct the beacon and singularity?" the Tester said.

"Yes."
