Chapter 1976: Lighting the Wonder Dream in the Heart (Part 6)

~11 min read 2,013 words

Facts have proven that humans do have unique ways of making themselves happy.

Or rather, there are too many things that make humans unhappy in this world, so naturally, they have developed in a hundred flowers blooming in terms of making themselves happy.

Lucifer, who walked out of the Pirates of the Caribbean pavilion, covered his forehead and said: "What am I doing? Clearly knowing that this is just a group of dummies cooperating with a group of props and sets to act, why do I have to play it three times?"

Schiller spread his hands and said: "Empathy is the most superior ability of intelligent life, which allows other intelligent life to convey their emotions to you using various things, including paintings, music, and also sets and performances."

Lucifer sighed lightly and said: "This is also the cornerstone of our being deceived."

After speaking, he looked at the pirate hat in his hand.

That's right, he bought it, and he bought it immediately after playing the Pirates of the Caribbean project, and a few minutes ago he even foolishly wore it on his head to find Captain Jack for a photo.

Walking through the arch of Adventureland, in fact, they had already arrived at Frontierland. Here, it was clearly changed to another decoration style, using many elements of desert and rock walls.

Unexpectedly, they ran into Nick and his party here. A group of agents wearing Mickey Mouse ears, holding Peter Pan dolls, and hanging dazzling badges on their bodies were too conspicuous. It was impossible not to see them.

Although S. H. I. E. L. D. agents were all wearing casual clothes, it was still the same point: agents had a unique temperament, specifically manifested as the look in their eyes when they looked at any building as if they were looking for the best sniper point.

Nick was not only holding a Dumbo doll, but also had a Winnie the Pooh tucked under his other arm, obviously just coming over from Fantasyland.

Seeing Schiller and Lucifer, Nick looked a bit surprised and said: "Didn't you plan to play the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train first? The line there has been ten miles long."

"We didn't plan to play popular projects first, but played in order." Schiller pointed to the hat on Lucifer's head and said: "You'd better hurry up and play Pirates of the Caribbean. Believe me, your team probably won't be able to leave Adventureland today."

Nick didn't quite understand what he meant, but he still shook his head and said: "Natasha said the Big Thunder Mountain roller coaster is more exciting, so she plans to play this one first. We really can't stand the merry-go-round anymore."

"Boss, we made a mistake." Coulson, who was wearing a skull hat, walked over and said: "I heard that the parade on the street is about to start. We definitely won't make it back now."

"What are you afraid of? At worst, we'll come back tomorrow. We only played amusement projects today, and most of the performances haven't been watched. We definitely have to play here for another day."

They walked together toward the Splash Mountain rafting.

Splash Mountain is actually a traditional log flume, but with a rafting section through a cave in front. The boat will slowly rise to the highest point, then dive all the way down. The last section is still relatively exciting.

When putting on the protective raincoat, Nick said: "I think not selling recovery potions in the Battleworld is the biggest mistake."

"Of course I don't mean to sell numerical values, but look, if you don't want to get your clothes dirty, and don't want to get hurt in the game, naturally you have to prepare recovery props."

"Of course, I feel more that the number of times to participate in the game every day should be limited. If you want to participate in excess, naturally you have to pay a price. What do you think of the stamina system?"

"I don't think much of it." Lucifer immediately retorted: "Why limit the number of times to participate in the game? Then wouldn't I have less fun to watch?"

"That's where you're wrong." Schiller and Nick said in unison.

"It is precisely so that you can watch the fun for a longer time. Think about it, if people quickly exchange for the technology and abilities they want with the points from participating in the game many times, they will definitely return to the reality world as soon as possible. Wouldn't you never be able to watch their fun again?"

"But if you set a limit, we can greatly extend this process, let them participate in more games, wouldn't there naturally be more fun for you to watch?"

"Providing recovery potions is also the same." Nick stretched out a finger and said: "They will spend more points on recovery props to let themselves have better performance in the next game. In this way, the points used to accumulate their resources will be less, and the total number of games they need to participate in will naturally be more."

Lucifer pressed his temples on both sides and said: "I have a premonition that if we really do this, we will definitely receive the most sincere curses from all the multiverses."

"Are you afraid of curses?"

"Of course I'm not afraid!" Lucifer raised his voice and said: "But is being scolded a good thing?! Be a human!"

The people on their boat were basically S. H. I. E. L. D. agents, so several people talked boldly, and when their conversation ended, the boat basically rose to the highest point.

Accompanied by intense cheers, the boat jumped down from the high platform, and the rushing water splashed everywhere.

The agents, who were like drowned rats, cheered and walked off the boat. A group of people clamored to play again. Lucifer shook his head and said: "No need to come again. Why don't I just put away my wings and fall into the lake? Isn't the effect the same?"

Schiller took off the raincoat full of water, let the gray mist dry his body, and then said: "Of course it's different. You might not necessarily get so much water if you fall into the lake."

Just as he was speaking, another boat rushed down. Lucifer hurriedly dodged to the side, fortunately, the water didn't splash over.

They wanted to head to the next attraction, but because they had wasted too much time in the Pirates of the Caribbean pavilion before, it was now approaching noon, and they prepared to stay for lunch.

It happened that not far forward along this main road was Liberty Square, and there was a Liberty Tree Tavern on the side of the road, which was an ordinary American family tavern without staff members.

Lucifer and Schiller didn't like people who interacted with staff members when eating, so they chose this restaurant instead of the more popular Beauty and the Beast restaurant.

Most American family-style taverns provide large glasses of beer and enough meat, including smoked bacon sausages, turkey meat, and large pieces of beef steak.

Because it was not the official lunch time, there were not many people, and most people were still immersed in playing. Schiller and Lucifer found a seat by the window and sat down.

Outside the window, Stark put on his sunglasses, looked at the map carefully under the big sun for two minutes, and then turned to Steve next to him and said: "We definitely went the wrong way. Just passing by the castle, I felt something was wrong. Shouldn't we go back to Main Street, U. S. A., and then go to Adventureland?"

"But this should also be able to go to Adventureland, the roads are all connected."

"Yes, the road from New York to Antarctica is also connected." Stark said unhappily: "You can just walk to see the penguins."

"I can indeed."

The two stared at each other for half a minute. Finally, Stark and Steve walked to the shade of the trees next to them, looked at the map again carefully, and said: "I just posted a tweet on the Spider APP, saying that I came to Orlando Disney World to play. Gwen Spider-Man replied to me and said I must go to play Pirates of the Caribbean."

"If we travel thousands of miles to Adventureland and find it's not fun, I'll have Nick deduct her credits."

"I don't think we should refer to other people's guides." Steve put his hands on his hips and said: "Now formulate our own tour route. I think we should go from Liberty Square to Frontierland, and then to Adventureland, so we won't miss any project."

"We don't need to ensure we don't miss any project at all, anyway, we have to come back for another day." Stark looked at Steve and said: "And are you sure there's no problem with that iron-armed guy following Strange? I think our understanding of the Sanctuary must have some bias."

"I've told you, Bucky worked in the Andromeda Galaxy. Now the Sanctuary is expanding its business there and needs Bucky's help. The Sorcerer Supreme is not a human trafficker."

"Heh." Stark snorted coldly, unfolded the map again while looking at it, and said: "That's only in the situation where no one will pay a high price."

Suddenly, Stark's gaze stopped on a project. The name of that project is Haunted Mansion.

Stark touched Steve with his elbow, then pointed at this project with his finger, and raised his eyebrows at Steve. The meaning of the expression was self-evident.

The Haunted Mansion is located at the junction of Frontierland and Liberty Square. From a distance, you can see a brownish-red old building. Walking in from the iron-gray fence gate is like entering a real manor.

Bruce, Clark, and Diana looked up at this huge building. Bruce asked very sincerely: "Where is the horror? Isn't it just an ordinary English manor?"

In the yard, you can see some statues of characters of various shapes, seemingly displaying the ancestors of this manor. Bruce shook his head and said: "We wouldn't put the statues of our ancestors in the yard, and the orientation of the placement is also wrong."

Walking into the corridor along the queuing channel, what appears in front is a small entrance hall, and there are many brownish-red wooden boards with "hui" character decorations around the side.

Going in further is a larger hall, with a huge chandelier hanging above, and portraits of characters on both sides. After entering the elevator, they soon arrived at the position of riding the track car.

The track car first passes through a long, dark corridor. On both sides of the corridor hang various weird portraits, and then you can see the light stairs disappearing into the darkness and the intricate walkways.

Bruce was uninterested in the first half. He sighed and said to Clark and Diana next to him: "I think I should install a track car in Wei En Manor, and then invite you to play at 2:00 AM. It's definitely scarier than this."

Clark and Diana, after a little recollection, felt that what Bruce said was really quite reasonable.

Wei En Manor is the most classic English manor, and it is very large. Only a few people live in a manor, which means that the vast majority of the rooms are vacant, empty, dim, and ancient.

When Clark went to the guest room to sleep alone for the first time, he felt that it was unscientific that he didn't see a full moon and a howling werewolf below outside the towering Gothic windows.

Finally, light spots began to flicker one after another in the darkness. Looking closely, they were all bat eyes.

The only problem is that the shape of these eyes is a bit too cartoonish, looking like the bat eyes in the cave in the MGM cartoons of the last century.

Diana sighed and looked at Bruce.

"It's really not as scary as you standing there wearing a bat suit. It's definitely scarier than this." ===== CHAPTER 1977 =====
