Chapter 3401
The long staff gave each of them a hit, and both Ghost Riders fell to the ground. Their energy seemed to be exhausted, the flames on their bodies extinguished, and they turned back into ordinary people.
Johnny climbed up first; he looked a bit dazed, stood in place holding his forehead, recalling what had happened.
When Danny stood up, he pushed Johnny and roared at him: "Look at the good work you've done!"
Johnny glanced at him but said nothing, limping toward his motorcycle, seemingly wanting to leave.
Danny rushed over again, blocked in front of him, and said: "You ruined everything, and now you want to just walk away like this?!"
"What the hell are you talking about?!" Johnny said impatiently. "I was just doing my job; can you stop bothering me?"
"Who are you working for? Is it Mephisto?! That damn demon who ruined the Ketch family and ruined everything for us!"
"Who I work for has nothing to do with you! I..."
"Interrupting for a second," Stark flew over, landed slowly, looked at the two of them, and said, "Don't you think you need to explain the current situation?"
"It must be Mephisto's doing!" Danny said. "He let Johnny come here to spread the curse, that damn devil!"
Stark turned his gaze to Johnny. Johnny looked a bit tired; he shook his head and said: "I came here just to finish the Ghost Rider's job."
"What job?"
"Judging sinners," Johnny sighed and continued, "I followed the scent of sin to get here; there are two souls here that I should take away."
"Then what about the monsters? What's going on with the monsters?"
"I don't know; it has nothing to do with me."
"He's lying!" Danny emphasized. "The devil is always good at lying; Mephisto couldn't possibly not know what's going on. He must have guided you here to complete his evil conspiracy."
Stark looked back. Miles jumped down from the roof and said: "Some new discoveries; let's find a place to talk in detail."
"Go to Stark Tower..." Stark had just said this when he thought that Jarvis had told him earlier that day that people from Roxxon Corporation wanted to visit, which proved that Stark Industries had already been targeted by them.
The opponent likely had some mysterious magical means; returning to Stark Industries with such fanfare would definitely be known to them.
Stark looked at Miles. Miles was also a bit embarrassed; he didn't want these two Ghost Riders of unknown origin to go to his base at all. If Peter was there, and these two started fighting in the base, the trouble would be huge.
Miles's gaze fell on the figure standing behind the two.
At this time, Danny seemed to remember something too, turned to look at the person behind him, and said as if grabbing a straw: "Moon Knight, you should have already discovered Mephisto's conspiracy; you came here to expose him, right?"
"Follow me." Danny only heard Moon Knight say.
With a wave of his cloak, his whole person turned into a ray of moonlight and flew in one direction.
Stark followed first; the magic core on his chest flickered with gorgeous light. He kept accelerating, chasing that moonlight.
Then he spun and dashed, and after feeling the light cover his vision, he asked: "Who are you?"
"Guess?"
The voice was very familiar, but Stark couldn't say the name with certainty. He became nervous again subconsciously, as if he had completely forgotten how to operate the armor.
"Are you alright? Sir, I'm back." Jarvis's voice sounded in Stark's ear, startling him.
"Oh, God!" Stark exclaimed and then said, "You really came back at the right time."
"I think so too." Jarvis's voice carried a smile, and he said, "You don't know how cute little Billy is; he was drinking milk from a bottle while smiling at me."
Stark really couldn't help but roll his eyes and then said: "You and Wanda are really a match made in heaven."
"Oh, about that question," Jarvis said, "I just looked at the recording of the armor and found that this superhero who suddenly appeared should be Moon Knight, and his real identity is..."
"Wait!" Stark suddenly shouted to stop and then said, "We shouldn't overly pry into the real identity of superheroes. Just like when I put on the armor, you should call me Iron Man, not Tony Stark."
"Sir, have you heard of Schrödinger's cat? Simply put, if you never open a box, you don't know if there's a cat in it. For you, Moon Knight is this box, is that right?"
"No!" Stark denied. He looked ahead, as if focusing on flying, and then said, "The cat promised me he was in the box; to show my trust in him, I can't open the box."
"Alright, if that's what you think, then I will turn off the behavioral analysis for Moon Knight."
"No! Wait!" Stark said again, "You can analyze; there's no harm in that, right? As long as you don't tell me."
"Alright, sir, I will analyze, but I won't tell you."
"Are you really not going to tell me?"
"Yes, sir, if that's what you want. There can't be anyone in this world with a tighter mouth than a robot."
"You are not a robot," Stark said hurriedly, but soon realized something, coughed twice, and then said, "I mean, out of scientific rigor, one cannot classify all advanced electronic life as robots; this term is inaccurate."
"So that's how it is." Jarvis's tone remained very steady, and he said, "Then what do you think of the confidentiality ability of advanced electronic life?"
"Of course... of course it's very good. But advanced doesn't mean it won't make mistakes; anything related to machinery can make mistakes."
"Even those created by you?"
Stark gritted his teeth and said: "This is a scientific law; even the operation of the universe can make mistakes; otherwise, why would there be so many universe administrators?"
"So that's how it is." Jarvis said.
After saying that, he fell silent. Stark also fell silent; the two of them were silent for a long time, and it was Stark who spoke first: "Don't you have anything else to say?"
"What? I'm singing nursery rhymes to little Billy." Jarvis said, "He just fell asleep, but he's awake again now; I'm coaxing him."
Stark took a deep breath.
"But I also took this opportunity to analyze Moon Knight in the battle recording." Jarvis said again, "Judging from the battle performance, the match with Dr. Schiller is 0."
"What?"
"Because Dr. Schiller usually doesn't fight." Jarvis said, "To be precise, he won't come to the battlefield in person, so judging from this behavior alone, the similarity is very low."
"But he said he wanted to be a superhero for a while." Stark said, "What if we take this as a prerequisite?"
"The highest match is only 60%."
"Why?"
"First of all, the action of jumping down from the roof doesn't conform to Dr. Schiller's behavioral habits. Generally speaking, he won't use this kind of entry method that increases both danger and spectacle."
"Secondly, he won't choose to throw away his own weapon, especially when this weapon looks rare and expensive; he will never rashly increase the risk of losing the weapon."
"Finally, he won't generously share his base with two time bombs that could explode at any time, especially when the base might be one he just finished decorating."
Stark's heart sank more and more.
The light finally stopped, and Stark found himself back in Manhattan. He followed the figure into an alley.
When he turned his head, he found that there was no one behind him at all.
At the same time, Miles and the two Ghost Riders, who could only run physically, were all cursing.
Iron Man, what the hell are you doing?! You two are flying faster and faster; did you ever consider whether we could keep up?!
After waiting for a while, the others finally caught up.
The Moon Knight in front waved his hand, and the end of the alley changed. A towering castle gate flowed with cold light under the moonlight, looking shiny.
Miles couldn't help but let out an exclamation. After pushing the door open, he was attracted by the huge fountain and the bright moon floating above the fountain. The moonlight shone in through the Gothic pointed windows with complex patterns, making the towering dome look unreachable.
Stark looked around, and he felt Jarvis was right. With such a beautiful house, how could Schiller let two Ghost Riders in to stir up trouble?
Moonlight has the power to make people calm and relaxed; Danny and Johnny were both attracted by this spacious and cold palace, forgetting to argue for a while.
Moon Knight walked up the steps in the center of the hall, stopped in front of the window, turned around, and looked at them.
Stark followed first, and Miles followed behind him. Johnny and Danny stayed for a while and then went up the stairs.
Stark saw the Moon Knight's long cloak in front sliding down the steps, and the words on his lips changed.
"Do you know anything, Moon Knight?"
"That's right, sir, you should ask him more questions. Language is one of the important standards of behavioral science; only enough language samples can analyze enough information."
"I didn't ask you to analyze." Stark said, "I trust Schiller very much; even if you get the analysis results, don't tell me."
"Alright, I understand."
"Do you really understand?"
"This conversation was repeated 10 minutes ago, sir. Please don't act more like a robot than I do."
Stark was silent. Without hearing Moon Knight's answer, he just wanted to ask, Danny hurried up two steps and said: "You must know something, right? Moon Knight?"
Stark suddenly thought that Danny and Schiller were together before, and they must know each other. But now, Danny seemed not to know that Schiller was Moon Knight; what was going on?
"Superheroes who hide their identities are the vast majority in this world." Jarvis said, "Those who disclose their identities like you are the extreme minority."
"Captain America's identity is also public."
"But Dr. Schiller would definitely not choose to disclose it; he would definitely not want to be more popular on the Internet."
Stark's footsteps paused, and he said: "Do you think it's possible that he deliberately did some things different from usual to prevent his identity from being exposed? Like those you mentioned?"
"There is a certain possibility, sir. And if he wants to disguise, I'm afraid no one can analyze it. The box is completely closed; if you don't take the initiative to open it, you will never know if there is a cat inside."
"But he can't be Moon Knight for a lifetime; as long as he still wants to act as a doctor, he has no reason to disguise."
"Then what if someone else is disguised as Dr. Schiller?... Heart rate abnormal, start life support device. Calm down, sir. Think on the bright side, at least... at least you don't have to pay the 300 million consultation fee every quarter."
