Chapter 197

This proud top scholar of Sichuan Province, though fully aware that unleashing the Succubus power would leave him in a weakened state.

She nonetheless chose without hesitation to activate the Succubus power within her body!!

Boom!!

A massive surge of deep purple magic power suddenly erupted from her body, enveloping her entirely.

Even the inherited weapon, the Ancient Moon Sword, was stained with a touch of purple.

And her eyes turned into a luxurious deep purple.

However, before Jiang Churan could fully release her Succubus power.

The holy, towering figure ahead vanished abruptly.

"So fast!!"

Jiang Churan's heart startled, and she instinctively tried to raise her Ancient Moon Sword to block beside her.

Yet, she was still one step too late...

The figure, wrapped in a holy aura, had already arrived behind her.

Moreover, that thick right hand gripped her right shoulder like a pair of tongs.

If she attempted any movement, even through her leather armor, her entire shoulder would likely be crushed...

"Disperse the bloodline power; it won't be good once you enter the weakened state."

That familiar low voice sounded, leaving Jiang Churan with not a shred of resistance while simultaneously bringing a hint of warmth and emotion.

This fellow actually knows how to cherish beauty...

"Sigh, the gap is too great."

"I choose to admit defeat..."

Jiang Churan sighed, and after the Succubus power slowly dissipated, she helplessly chose to admit defeat.

Indeed, compared to Zhou Yi, she was still far too lacking.

"Hiss! Another crushing instant-kill! It's absurd!"

"Too terrifying..."

"Counting the Berserker Shen Lingfeng who ranked third before, the Spirit Daoist Song Xialan who ranked fourth, plus the Spirit Swordswoman Jiang Churan who is now second, Zhou Yi has consecutively defeated three people!"

"As expected, Zhou Yi is truly the strongest freshman number one."

Although the clear time of the first-stage dungeon earned Zhou Yi the first-place rank.

For most freshmen, they still held a slight attitude of doubt toward this rank.

One reason was that they had not witnessed Zhou Yi's formidable performance within the dungeon.

The other reason stemmed from the fixed impression regarding the Holy Knight's heavy support role.

And after this challenge match, Zhou Yi, who suppressed two provincial top scholars and crushed noble scions possessing powerful bloodlines, made everyone's doubts about his strength vanish into thin air.

One could say this formidable Holy Knight is truly the deserving number one freshman!!
