Chapter 198: The Freshman Competition Ends! The Three Academies

"So fast! He's already defeated two provincial top scorers in a row?!"

"Zhou Yi's strength is insane."

"I was wrong—I'll never say again that a Holy Knight is a heavy support class..."

On the spectator seats, the upperclassmen also stared in astonishment.

A sharp fighting style, formidable physical conditioning.

Zhou Yi's strength truly exceeded their imagination...

His strength is even stronger than that of most upperclassmen present!!

Of course...

That's only to be expected.

Add in the rewards from clearing the Abyss-level dungeons and level-up bonuses.

Zhou Yi's current four attributes have reached an average of over 170 points!!

Absolutely terrifying!!

Unlike typical class users who allocate points based on needs, his four attributes are nearly evenly distributed!!

Strength and constitution surpass warriors and knights.

Agility and intellect surpass assassins and mages.

In short, Zhou Yi currently has no weaknesses in any aspect!!

His extremely high four attributes, combined with numerous B-rank and A-rank skills, have formed his current terrifying combat power.

And it doesn't stop there. "917"

He currently wears only a weapon and a ring.

If he equipped a full set of Gold Rank gear, his strength could rise even further!!

"Such swift movement!"

"His agility is on par with even professional assassins."

On the podium, all the instructors were stunned by Zhou Yi's blinding speed.

"They were defeated without even fully unleashing their bloodline power—the gap between them is enormous."

Wu Mang slowly exhaled a long breath.

Since the Freshman Competition began, Zhou Yi has continually surprised him.

Now, he's defeated two provincial top scorers and a scion with a rare bloodline power.

If Zhou Yi were also a scion, he might not be this astonished.

But the man is truly from an ordinary family in the impoverished Backlands.

Before becoming a provincial top scorer, he had zero extra resources to draw upon!

Yet Zhou Yi still rose to the position of top freshman.

Just this fact alone proves his monstrous talent.

"The second phase of the competition is nearly over—it's time to start preparing to select students."

Wu Mang glanced sideways; the deans of the Element Academy and the Weaponry Academy had already gathered their teaching instructors together.

Clearly, they were already preparing for the upcoming student recruitment.

No need to guess—Zhou Yi, as the top freshman, would inevitably be fought over by all academies.

"Good thing I prepared early—I'm claiming Zhou Yi!"

Wu Mang narrowed his eyes and summoned his own academy's instructors, beginning preparations for the academy allocation.

On the other side, across the vast courtyard.

Jiang Churan lost her challenge and stepped down from the arena.

Instantly, no one dared challenge Zhou Yi anymore.

Of course.

Even the top three ranked challengers had all been defeated—others going up would be pointless.

Seeing no one else step onto the arena, Zhou Yi didn't remain there either.

He walked to the courtyard, returning once more to his earlier state of idleness.

As for the other freshmen, after the top freshman had been definitively confirmed amid the gaze of thousands.

They all turned their attention away and resumed their own challenges.

After all.

The sequence ranking determines next month's dorm assignments and credit distribution.

"I challenge rank 78!"
