Chapter 394

Yet he only managed to secure third place — one could imagine just how much criticism he, as the lead teacher, would face once the competition ended!

"We can't let Suhang University keep taking first place in the Survival Competition!"

Cheng Yongchun's gaze hardened, and he hurried out of the villa.

Nine o'clock in the evening.

Inside the villa belonging to a teacher of Modu University.

Cheng Yongchun arrived here and sat facing Su Rui in the living room.

"Dean Cheng, you didn't come looking for me without a reason, did you?"

On the sofa, Su Rui, wearing the Modu University mentor's uniform, looked at Cheng Yongchun across from her.

Modu University had sent a total of three lead teachers this time.

But because of Dean Cheng's arrival, she had temporarily asked the other two mentors to step out and leave.

"Of course not."

Cheng Yongchun shook his head and said with a smile to Su Rui:

"The day after tomorrow, the Survival Competition will begin."

"If nothing unexpected happens, first place in the Survival Competition will also go to Suhang University."

"I wonder, Dean Su, whether you would be content with such an outcome?"

"What do you mean?"

Su Rui's delicate brows furrowed.

With Zhou Yi present, Suhang University taking first place in the Survival Competition was almost a foregone conclusion.

"Nothing much, I just want to say that we are all top-tier universities — we can't let Suhang University hog all the spotlight alone."

"I came here this time to invite your Modu University to join our temporary university alliance, to deal with Suhang University together."

0....

After a pause, Cheng Yongchun added, "To be precise, to deal with Suhang University's Zhou Yi."

"A university alliance? Joining forces to deal with Zhou Yi?"

Su Rui was stunned for a moment, then quickly caught on. Her beautiful phoenix eyes turned toward Cheng Yongchun, a playful expression on her face:

"Not letting Suhang University hog the spotlight is just an excuse — protecting your Qingjing University's reputation is the real reason, isn't it?"

No one at the Third-Turn professional level is a fool.

When Cheng Yongchun had said earlier that he had something to discuss in person, she had already felt a bit puzzled.

Looking at it now, there was indeed something fishy going on!

"All three events of the Exchange Competition were taken first place by Suhang University — Modu University doesn't exactly look good either!"

Cheng Yongchun said, frowning.

"What looks good or not? In previous years, our Modu University could only come in last among the three top universities. This year, being able to get second place is already more than satisfying for me."

Su Rui wasn't swayed in the slightest.

She even casually reached over, plucked a grape from the fruit tray on the coffee table, and popped it into her mouth.

"One S-rank resource."

Cheng Yongchun understood what Su Rui meant and began laying out conditions directly.

"At least two S-rank resources."

Su Rui held up two fingers.

"Two S-rank resources?"

Cheng Yongchun was briefly taken aback, then gritted his teeth and finally agreed.

"Deal!"

"Hmm?"

Su Rui hadn't expected Cheng Yongchun to agree so readily. After a pause, she said somewhat hesitantly:

"But even if our two universities join forces, I'm afraid we still won't be able to deal with Zhou Yi."

"It's not just our two universities — the other seven universities have also joined our temporary alliance."

"For the day-after-tomorrow's Survival Competition, just tell your contestants not to eliminate the top-five students from the ordinary universities."

"Wait until the final day of the Survival Competition to gather together and deal with Suhang University as one."

"The specific detailed plan — tomorrow I'll gather all the lead teachers from every university to discuss it together."

After tossing out a few lines, Cheng Yongchun hurriedly left the villa once more.

"All the other universities brought into one alliance? It seems Qingjing University is truly desperate this time."

Watching Cheng Yongchun's departing figure, Su Rui couldn't help but show a look of deep emotion.

The so-called Survival Competition is to throw all university students into the same Secret Realm.

In the end, whoever kills more and stronger magical beasts within the Secret Realm gets the higher ranking!

And such a Survival Competition does not prohibit universities from forming alliances and cooperating.

In previous Survival Competitions, there had been cases where 7 universities joined forces to deal with the three top-tier universities together.

And now, for Suhang University — no, it should be said, for Zhou Yi — Qingjing University was actually willing to spend such a huge price to unite all the universities together. This was simply unbelievable!

"Nine universities joining forces — Zhou Yi, I wonder if this time you can once again turn the tide."

Shaking her head, Su Rui didn't dwell on it further.

No matter the outcome, Modu University would get two S-rank resources — that was already enough......
