Chapter 395: Open-Instance Dungeon! The Survival Competition Begins! (Subscribe!)

The single day of rest after the team competition passed in a flash.

On November 14, the final survival event of the National University Freshman Exchange Competition was about to begin inside the stadium on the Mechanical Floating Island.

Compared to the earlier singles finals and the team match between Suhang University and Modu University, the audience in the stands was slightly fewer now.

Still, there were over a hundred thousand people or so.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the final event of the National University Freshman Exchange Competition, the survival competition, is about to begin!"

"Before that, allow me to announce the relevant rules of this survival competition."

"First, this survival competition will take place in our Xia Yan Yezhelian Alliance's open-instance dungeon — the Emerald Forest!"

Along with the host's magnetic voice, the holographic projection devices placed throughout the stadium activated simultaneously.

A forest scene was projected in mid-air.

It was an extremely vast forest, with flying-type magical beasts passing through the azure sky.

On the ground, massive magical beasts could be seen everywhere.

"The Emerald Forest covers a total of 1,208 square kilometers."

"A large number of magical beasts live in the Emerald Forest; the lowest level is 14, the highest is 30, and the highest quality is Gold Rank!"

"After entering the Emerald Forest, all contestants can earn points by hunting magical beasts."

"The higher the quality and level of the hunted magical beast, the more points you will receive."

"We will distribute a smart wristband that tracks each person's points and ranking."

"At the same time, this smart wristband is also an extremely important life-saving magical equipment; it can be triggered manually, and it will also trigger automatically when facing life-threatening danger."

"Once 'Zero One Three' is triggered, it means elimination, and half of your points will be deducted."

"If you are eliminated by another contestant, this half of the points will be transferred to that contestant."

While speaking, in the rest area of the stadium, dedicated staff distributed the smart wristbands to every student.

"So this is the life-saving smart wristband?"

Zhou Yi looked at his right wrist, where a smart wristband had just been put on by the staff.

The smart wristband was made of a material resembling jade, pale cyan all over.

Although it looked like jade, there was a small display screen on the wristband.

With a light tap, a virtual screen was projected before his eyes.
