Chapter 400

Time passed day by day, and before long, the survival competition had reached its fifth day.

Over the five days, a total of 26 contestants had been defeated and eliminated.

These 26 people were gathered together by official professionals of the Xiayanlian Alliance who had entered the dungeon early, waiting for the competition to end before exiting the dungeon together.

As for the remaining contestants still active inside the dungeon, there were 74 left in total.

If this were placed in previous survival competitions, by the fifth day, it would have been absolutely impossible for more than seventy contestants to still remain!

Having more than twenty contestants would already be quite impressive!

Because of this, quite a few viewers seemed to have realized something.

"This is way too fake! The competition is on its fifth day, how can there still be so many people left?"

"It's absurd! I just saw a contestant from Qingjing University encounter one from Magic Capital University, yet the two of them didn't even fight!"

"This year Suhang University is too dominant. With two top-tier universities joining forces being entirely possible, why would they even let contestants from ordinary universities go?"

"......"

Don't understand.

Really don't understand!

Since the survival competition doesn't prohibit forming teams, it wasn't uncommon in previous competitions for major universities to ally with each other.

But this year's survival competition was especially bizarre, as if everyone was on a friendly group spring outing.

Even when two contestants encountered each other, they wouldn't fight to the death; instead, they'd help each other hunt magical beasts.

Of course, contestants from Suhang University were the exception.

Every single contestant from Suhang University, upon encountering contestants from other schools, would without exception engage in extremely fierce battles.

And among the 26 eliminated contestants, a full 7 were from Suhang University......

"Nine universities allied together, Dean Cheng. To deal with us, you really spared no expense."

In the rest area, Wu Mang said meaningfully to Cheng Yongchun in the adjacent seat.

During the first two days of fighting, he hadn't noticed anything.

It wasn't until Xia Lan and Wei He of Qingjing University encountered each other yet erupted into battle that he finally realized Qingjing University and Magic Capital University had joined forces!

Not only that, but the other seven universities had also allied together!

And the fact that Suhang University had been targeted by all the major universities these past few days further confirmed his hypothesis.

As for why he was certain Cheng Yongchun was leading it, that was also very simple.

After all, ordinary universities didn't have the ability to make top-tier universities cooperate, and Magic Capital University's second place was already secured, so there was no need to pay such a huge price to ally all the universities.

Under such circumstances, only Qingjing University was a possibility.

Faced with Wu Mang's words, Cheng Yongchun said nothing, which amounted to a tacit admission.

Actually, this wasn't something worth hiding.

After all, tomorrow was the final day of the survival competition, and by then all students from the other universities would unite together to deal with Suhang University.

This simply couldn't be concealed!

'This is already our absolute maximum effort. If we still can't stop Suhang University, then it can only be said to be fate.'

Cheng Yongchun murmured silently in his heart.

In this exchange competition, Qingjing University had held the advantage in this round yet still been beaten so badly.

To salvage the last bit of face, the resources used to ally nine universities in the survival competition naturally weren't paid by him alone, but came from Qingjing University.

But even with nine universities allied together, he still didn't have enough confidence to stop Suhang University from taking first place.

To be precise, he had no confidence in stopping Zhou Yi!

"Tomorrow is the final day of the competition. I hope it succeeds then......"

Ten o'clock at night.

In the Verdant Forest Dungeon Secret Realm, beneath a towering tree dozens of meters tall.

Zhou Yi was leaning against the great tree behind him, checking his experience bar.

【Level 22 (74633/14000)】

"Five days, killed over a thousand magical beasts, gained more than forty thousand experience points. Not bad."

A smile appeared at the corner of Zhou Yi's mouth.

During these five days, he hadn't rested for a single moment, riding his Swift Wind Wolf and galloping through the Verdant Forest.

Wherever he passed, the lightning and thunder brought down by Light's Punishment could reap the lives of large numbers of magical beasts!

And his experience points had also risen steadily, increasing by a full thirty thousand-plus points!

Equivalent to clearing the Abyss-level Goblin Underground City dungeon three times!

Such a rapid experience-gathering speed, Zhou Yi had only enjoyed it once before in the Hengduan Forest that Teacher Wang Hui had taken him to......

After checking his experience points, Zhou Yi casually opened the rankings on his smart wristband:

【First Place: Zhou Yi, 63210 points】

【Second Place: Wang Xuan, 34642 points】

【Third Place: Li Mengze, 32147 points】

【......】

"Experience points went up, and points are also first."

Zhou Yi was very satisfied. After scanning the entire rankings, he couldn't help but frown slightly.

"But why do the others' points seem to not have increased these past few days?"

As the captain of Suhang University, Zhou Yi was also keeping an eye on the rankings of other team members.

But after observing these past few days, aside from Jiang Churan and Cai Hua, the points of the other Suhang University contestants hadn't changed for days?

"Are they hiding in some concealed spot, planning to make a move tomorrow, or have they already been eliminated?"

Zhou Yi's gaze flickered.

If it's the former possibility, then that's all fine.

If it's the latter possibility, then it means Suhang University may have been targeted......

"Forget it, whatever the situation is, once all the contestants' position information is published tomorrow, everything will be known."

"Even if we really are being targeted, I alone am enough to take first place."

Shaking his head, Zhou Yi then slowly closed his eyes.

In the face of overwhelming strength, any targeting will only be in vain.

This is Zhou Yi's immense confidence in his own strength.

Chapter 242: Survival Competition! The Final Showdown! (Subscribe!)

November 20, 2064.

This day is the final day of the National University Freshman Exchange Competition's survival competition event.

On this day, the remaining contestants in the Dungeon Secret Realm will engage in the final showdown to determine the ultimate victor,

and at the same time, the entire National University Freshman Exchange Competition's schedule will also conclude today.

The survival competition's most intense and brilliant final showdown, along with the conclusion of the 20-day National University Freshman Exchange Competition, drew countless spectators flooding into the stadium on the mechanical floating island above Qingjing University.

It wasn't even half past eight yet, and the entire stadium was already nearly full.

Looking around, the spectators formed a dark, dense mass stretching as far as the eye could see—at least over two hundred thousand of them.

Among them were spectators who specifically waited until the last day to come watch, as well as spectators who hadn't missed a single day of the entire 20-day event.

All in all, the number of spectators in the stadium at this moment was even greater than the attendance at the singles competition finals back then!

"The final day's showdown of the survival competition! Looking forward to it!"

"The nine universities have joined forces, but who knows if they can stop Suhang University from taking first place."

"I think it'll be tough—Zhou Yi is just too monstrous."

"......"

The spectators weren't fools either.

After so many days of combat, they naturally all saw that the nine universities had already united to target Suhang University.

You have to know—

In previous years' exchange competition survival competition events, there were also situations where universities teamed up with each other.
