"The special admission students have been introduced. Next, I'll tell you about the rules of Suzhou University."

Wu Mang's gaze swept across the crowd; his three-meter-plus height and the oppressive aura of a high-level professional made many students involuntarily hold their breath.

"First, the ranking system."

"At Suzhou University, every grade's students have a corresponding sequence ranking."

"The stronger your power, the higher your ranking."

"You're all new students, here for the first time, so your sequence rankings are based solely on your performance in the college entrance exam."

"Based on college entrance exam performance... the exam questions differ by province—this isn't fair at all!"

Someone in the crowd muttered quietly.

Clearly, they were dissatisfied with their default sequence number.

Wu Mang seemed to have heard it, and said calmly:

"Some of you may think this sequence ranking is unfair, but it doesn't matter—these sequence numbers are temporary.

One month from now, after all new students have registered, we'll hold the New Student Competition.

At that time, everyone will face the same exam.

After the competition ends, the sequence rankings will be rearranged."

"Academic credits have already been distributed based on sequence numbers upon registration—rearranging rankings a month later won't fix that!"

Someone complained.

Many students nodded in agreement.

They had already noticed that students with different sequence rankings received different base academic credits.

And on the day of registration, the base credits had already been issued.

Even if rankings are rearranged a month later,

if there's only a dry ranking with no corresponding credits, it's meaningless.

Suzhou University, as a top-tier institution, naturally wouldn't overlook this point.

Only then did Wu Mang on the podium continue:

"After the New Student Competition rearranges the sequence rankings, any missing academic credits will be compensated to you accordingly.

Moreover, if your ranking improves, you'll receive a bonus of fifty academic credits per rank gained.

Some of you may not yet understand how vital Suzhou University's academic credits are.

Let me put it simply: 100 academic credits can be exchanged for a C-class resource.

250 academic credits can be exchanged for a C+ class resource.

You can think of 1 academic credit as equivalent to 10,000 cash, or even 30,000 cash outside the university.

Because Suzhou University's exchange rate is roughly one-third of the market value.

That means, if you improve your ranking by five places in the New Student Competition, you'll earn 250 academic credits—enough to buy a C+ class resource."

As Wu Mang finished speaking, a wave of shocked murmurs erupted throughout the auditorium.

"Fifty academic credits per rank gained?! 250 credits for a C+ resource? That's insane!"

"One credit equals 30,000 Zhongxia coins outside? That's terrifying!"

"Whoa, my current sequence is 050—if I climb to 001 in the New Student Competition, I could get 2,500 academic credits all at once?"

"..."

At that moment, the students in their seats immediately grew excited.

Those dissatisfied with their rankings glowed with anticipation.

After all, if they demonstrated their strength in the New Student Competition and rose in rank, they'd not only recover their missing credits but also earn bonus credits!

It was a guaranteed profit.

And with a 1-to-3 ratio, Suzhou University's academic credits were even more valuable than they'd imagined!

"Feels like this rule is targeting me."

Zhou Yi raised an eyebrow.

As the 001 sequence, his ranking couldn't possibly improve.

That meant he'd definitely miss out on the bonus credits for rank advancement.

Of course, he knew that to earn those bonus credits, one would have to have hidden their strength during the college entrance exam, resulting in a low initial ranking.

Otherwise, it was nearly impossible to climb significantly in just one month.

After all, everyone here was a genius from across the country—you improve, others improve too.

Wu Mang paid no attention to the students' murmurs and continued loudly:

"Compared to the other two top universities, Suzhou University has a relatively short history—only 231 years.

In these 231 years, countless graduates of Suzhou University have shed blood and sweat, securing our peaceful lives, building today's Suzhou University, and giving you your present!"

"Entering Suzhou University isn't about enjoying comfort or feeling superior!"

"As special admission students, each of you has at least 200 base academic credits!"

"These credits are meant for you to purchase resources and enhance your strength!"

"Our school has a dedicated Enforcement Division and Supervision Division—if we discover anyone using these credits to buy university resources and resell them outside,

you will be expelled immediately, handed over to the procuratorate for legal liability, and blacklisted—never to be admitted again!"

Wu Mang's voice echoed throughout the auditorium.

The seriousness in his tone made everyone present understand the gravity of this matter.

That's true...

Some of Su Da's resources are allocated by the state, while others are earned through the principal, vice-principal, and various course instructors fighting on the outside.

They are distributed to students to help them increase their strength.

Even if a student's strength does not change much after using them due to talent, the school will not care.

However, if one purchases school resources and then resells them for profit, the nature of the act becomes completely different.
