Chapter 73: 001 Sequence, All Show and No Substance

"The ranking system and credit system have been introduced."

"Next, I'll tell you about the upgrade locations and ways to earn credits at school."

"At our Suzhou University, there are three Secret Realms."

"The first realm, Goblin Underground City, has a level restriction of 17 to 21."

"The second realm, Twisted Jungle, has a level restriction of 23 to 26."

"The third realm, Purgatory, has a level restriction of 28 to 31."

"To enter these three realms, you must not only reach the required level but also spend a certain amount of credits."

"The first time you clear a realm, you'll receive a large bonus reward."

"Additionally, at Suzhou University, besides the credits issued by the school, there are two other ways to earn credits."

"The first is credit missions—you can find them in the mission management section of the official website."

"The second is the Earth Rank and Heaven Rank lists."

"For first-transformation practitioners, if you enter the top 500 on the Earth Rank, you'll earn a fixed 10 to 50 credits per month."

"For second-transformation practitioners, you'll earn 50 to 80 credits per month on the Heaven Rank."

"In short, the higher your rank, the more credits you earn."

"You may complete these two credit-earning methods as needed."

Wu Mang spoke at length in one breath.

He explained in great detail.

Of course, this was because everyone present was a special admit.

If this were regular students, he wouldn't be the one explaining these things.

"Rankings? I'm familiar with those! Back in high school, I was top one or two—I'll definitely climb into the top 500 of the Earth Rank soon!"

"Exactly! The Earth Rank? Easy!"

"Twenty credits, here I come!"

"......"

All of them were elite students admitted through special recruitment, each with full confidence in themselves.

They thought that even if they couldn't quickly reach the top 100,

entering the top 500 should still be easy.

"Earth Rank, Heaven Rank, mission system, credit system."

"Suzhou University has built a rigorous cultivation reward system!"

Zhou Yi couldn't help but feel a sense of awe.

This system grants greater rights the stronger one becomes.

Thus, students are more willing to spend their time on cultivation!

Of course, he wouldn't think like the other students—that the Earth Rank was easy to climb.

After all, this was the overall ranking of over four thousand students!

It included senior third- and fourth-year students!

With these people present, it was impossible for freshmen to rise into the top 500 in a short time—it was pure fantasy!

After that, Wu Mang mentioned a few more freshman guidelines before leaving due to other matters.

Another instructor stepped forward to teach some basic knowledge.

The entire Shengjianmian Society ended just before noon.

"That concludes today's special admit meeting. I hope you all use the basic credits issued to train hard and strengthen yourselves before the Freshman Competition."

"Otherwise, if your ranking in the Freshman Competition is lower than that of regular students, you'll be laughed at."

On the podium, Su Mei gave the final summary.

As a beautiful teacher with an excellent figure and appearance, every student listened intently while she spoke.

When they heard her last remark, everyone smiled knowingly.

As special admits, they had their own pride.

Naturally, they wouldn't lose to regular students due to laziness.

"Alright, time's up. Dismissed."

The special admit meeting was over.

Besides gaining a wealth of knowledge about Suzhou University, the special admits now also understood their current sequence rankings and had some sense of who their fellow special admit classmates were.

Among them, the most striking was

none other than Zhou Yi, the Holy Knight with sequence 001.

Many students couldn't understand why a Holy Knight, who leaned toward heavy support, was deemed the top freshman by the school.

"I don't get it—why did the school assign this sequence ranking?"

"I don't get it either. How can a Holy Knight rank above a Berserker? Shen Lingfeng's level is even higher."

"Exam questions differ by province; forcing a Holy Knight to be top freshman is inappropriate."

"But no matter his strength, I think he's incredibly handsome!"

"......"

After the meeting ended, everyone continued discussing the sequence rankings.

Some girls sighed over Zhou Yi's muscular build and resolute face—just seeing him naturally sparked admiration.

"Hmph, I think this 001 sequence is just empty fame!"

Amid the chatter, a voice suddenly rang out loudly, and the entire classroom fell instantly silent.

"Holy crap? Someone's looking for trouble!"

"Now this is a good show, let's stick around a bit longer!"

"Targeting Sequence 001 — looks like someone wants to use him as a stepping stone!"

"Well, Zhou Yi is just too conspicuous, and his class isn't exactly a powerful one either, so it's no surprise someone wants to step on him to climb up."

"......"

Although everyone had some doubts about this freshman's number-one ranking, they all chose to trust the school's arrangement.

And now someone had actually stepped forward — this was clearly meant to cause trouble!

Because of the overall policy of the Central Xia Nation, high school students had already begun receiving all kinds of training, so incidents like this had happened more or less.

Having entered university, they were no strangers to such scenes and instead found them interesting.

Quite a few students who had originally been ready to leave stayed behind, preparing to watch the show.

"Hm?"

Zhou Yi's brow lifted, and he looked toward the source of the voice.

He saw, in a front-row seat, a tall, broad-shouldered boy looking at him with a cruel smile.
