Chapter 51: Off-season: Big trades that continuously explode the league!

Almost as soon as Su Yan withdrew from the Summer League and returned to Chicago, the competition for Su Yan in the league was clear on paper, entering a white-hot state.

Showdown.

Everyone was competing openly.

The Cavaliers offered 18 million over 4 years, the same offer as the "No. 1 overall pick" LeBron, the "Su Yan + LeBron" "Absolute Duo" combination.

This was the largest contract from the outside world previously.

Immediately after... the Magic also went all out, offering a big contract of 20 million USD over 4 years, a contract higher than the No. 1 overall pick, given to Su Yan, an undrafted player.

Fans were also very much looking forward to the "McGrady + Su Yan" combination.

Feicheng didn't want to sit still and wait for death, also sending out 20 million USD over 4 years; the "Iverson + Su Yan" "Golden Duo" was also full of anticipation.

In this way.

With the same price, it just depended on whose appeal was stronger.

The Nuggets were not to be outdone.

They sent 24 million USD over 4 years; as long as Su Yan dared to come to Denver, a salary of 6 million USD per year would be given to this 19-year-old boy.

6 million USD per year.

What kind of concept is this?

With an exchange rate of 8.3, it was about 50 million in Dragon Country currency, and this was in 2003, 50 million; this was simply so much that countless people would go crazy!!!

Of course.

This annual salary, for a 19-year-old boy.

Even if placed in the entire basketball circle, it was quite explosive.

Fans looked at these offers, each one higher than the last, all with expressions as if they had seen a ghost, all falling into the shock of their eyeballs popping out.

"No, 24 million USD over 4 years? Given to an undrafted rookie, are the Nuggets crazy? What kind of heaven-defying contract is this?"

"Unbelievable!"

"No, "No. 1 overall pick" LeBron James, he only got 18 million over 4 years, Su Yan got 6 million more than him?

Isn't this too much?"

"Too much!"

"Yeah, I can admit that Su Yan is very strong, and the ceiling of the "Prediction Master" is extremely high, but... that's LeBron.

He is the "Chosen One".

How could Su Yan be more powerful than LeBron?!"

"Too unbelievable!"

"Uh... is there a possibility that LeBron has already signed a 4-year contract with the Cavaliers, and in the eyes of the Cavaliers, LeBron is a non-tradable asset.

Therefore.

The possibility of other teams getting LeBron is slim.

So they can only set their targets on an equally powerful undrafted player."

"Makes sense."

"Don't use your amateurism to challenge others' professionalism.

Therefore... so many teams are fighting for Su Yan, there must be a reason for it, "Prediction Master", "Gentleman Thug" Su Yan.

He will definitely be a player as powerful as LeBron."

"Hiss..." ===== CHAPTER 53 =====
