Chapter 53

No matter if you go to the Magic, Feicheng, or the Cavaliers, you will be the second-in-command, and that is not the label of a superstar.

So...

What do you think of this contract?"

"Uh..."

Su Yan thought for a moment, didn't answer immediately, but looked at Rich Paul.

Rich Paul remained calm, then leaned into Su Yan's ear and whispered: "Su, this offer is very good, quite perfect.

General teams wouldn't offer such a short-term contract just to keep you.

This contract from the Bulls is very friendly to your future."

"Um."

Su Yan nodded slightly.

He thought so too.

Possessing 【Steel Strength】 + 【Heavenly Emperor's Eye】 + 【Basketball God System】, his strength would only get stronger as time went on.

Then.

Under this contract with the Bulls, next season, he would definitely be able to get a "max contract" of over 10 million.

This would make Su Yan instantly stand out from the rookies, get the highest annual salary, and even surpass many active superstars.

That would amaze the whole league and make the rookie players of the last three years envious to death.

This "1+1" contract was indeed not bad.

"Wooow~"

Pippen, who hadn't spoken, was also surprised, "This contract is quite friendly to Su, not being bound by the team.

Getting a high salary next year.

And the Bulls still have to bear the risk of painstakingly cultivating you for a year and then having you pat your butt and leave.

However.

The reason the Bulls dare to do this is likely because they really like Su, and they believe Su will stay next year because the Bulls were good enough to you."

Pippen was brought over by the Bulls to persuade Su Yan to stay.

But he wasn't a mole; he genuinely felt the contract was good and genuinely hoped Su Yan would stay with the Bulls and gradually grow into "Jordan's Successor".

Rich Paul nodded silently.

"Uh..."

Pretending to ponder for a while, Su Yan nodded slightly and smiled: "Since the Bulls are so straightforward and offer such a good contract.

Then what reason do I, an undrafted player, have to refuse?!

I hope that in the time to come with the Bulls, we can get along well and make both myself and the Bulls better."

"Must."

Paxson nodded heavily.

Immediately, the two shook hands, and the renewal contract was officially reached.

In this way, Su Yan renewed with the Bulls with a "1+1" contract, a player option in the second year, 12 million USD over 2 years, plus unlimited use rights to a small villa.

With a "sky-high rookie contract", he renewed with the Bulls.

Immediately after.

The Bulls didn't stop for a moment, announcing on their official Twitter to inform the whole league, exploding the entire league together.

"Uh-huh? Why is the salary less?!"

"Idiot, how is it less, it's 6 million USD a year, just a little bit less than the highest 6.25 million USD a year given by the Knicks.

You have to know.

Players as strong as "Half-Man, Half-God" Carter, "German Tank" Nowitzki, "The Truth" Pierce, and other All-Star starter-level players.

Their annual salary is only 11 million USD.

What is Su Yan?!

An undrafted player who just entered the league; this salary is high, it's really too high.

The key is.

The "1+1" contract, as long as Su Yan can play to his value, he can have a new max contract with an annual salary of over 10 million next year.

At that time.

Su Yan's annual salary will instantly surpass all rookies and be on the same level as league stars; this is the most abnormal part of this contract."

"That's right.

Like "Little Emperor" LeBron, he will basically be in a state of "peak upon debut", a star level from the start.

However.

A four-year dead rookie contract.

Makes him unable to get a high salary for at least 4 years; this is the gap."

"Tsk tsk... the Bulls are really daring, aren't they afraid that Su Yan will be poached by other teams next year?"

"Definitely afraid. But high risk and high return coexist; while there is high risk, the Bulls also stood out in the battle for Su Yan.

Successfully getting Su Yan for at least one year.

As long as Su Yan plays well this year, the team cultivates him well, and the relationship is good enough, both sides will likely move towards each other next year.

That's not a loss."

"Holy! Shit! "Prediction Master" Su Yan, an undrafted player, played 3 Summer League games and harvested a "sky-high rookie contract".

In addition.

There is also popularity that surpasses all rookies.

This is truly remarkable."

"Haha~ Su Yan is just remarkable, Su Yan renewed with the Bulls and is growing vigorously in the direction of "Bulls Successor".

Looking forward to Su Yan's performance in the new NBA season!!!"

"Looking forward to it~"

"......"

Amidst the heated discussions and sighs of the fans.

The battle for Su Yan came to an end.

However... almost as soon as the sensation caused by Su Yan's "sky-high rookie contract" renewal with the Bulls ended, the NBA official exploded another big trade that shook the league. ===== CHAPTER 55 =====
