Mad Shark Tribe

A complex mess of information flooded Chaosheng. It took her a good while to react before she slowly began to sort through it.

Baini likes her?

Baiqi wants her to join the Jingju Tribe as a concubine?

Thinking of that simple, straightforward big guy, Chaosheng felt a rare lack of repulsion in her heart; he was the first Beastman to show her kindness after she arrived in this strange world.

If she absolutely had to choose a Beast Husband to marry today, Baini would indeed be a very good choice, but joining the Jingju Tribe? That won't do.

Orcas are pack animals; she is not.

She had long since grown tired of interacting with others, and she quite liked the life of foraging alone these past few days.

"Let's head back first; the Treasure Hunt is about to begin," Baiqi said considerately, knowing that such things could not be forced.

"Okay," Chaosheng replied, lowering her head.

Almost all the Beastmen had come ashore, standing together according to their respective Tribes. As for the Beastmen without a Tribe, they huddled alone in the corners.

Baiqi led Chaosheng to the Jingju Tribe's location. Seeing Chaosheng approach, Baini's round, black eyes suddenly lit up, and he came straight over, sticking close to her. "Chaosheng, how was your stroll? Did you see anything you liked?"

"..." Chaosheng looked at the clingy Male Beastman before her, a hint of a smile flashing in her eyes. "It was quite good, but I didn't see anything I liked."

"Oh, alright," Baini comforted her. "The good stuff is all coming up later. If there's anything you like, remember to tell me."

Beastmen of the Polar Sea generally rarely use Crystal Coins; they only use them when markets and merchant caravans arrive.

Baini has outstanding abilities and has caught many prey for the Tribe, so Baipei rewarded him with many Crystal Coins.

At the thought that his Crystal Coins finally had a use, the corners of Baini's mouth could not stop curling upward.

A Whale Shark Beastman over two meters tall stood upon a stone platform. His beast-skirt was carved with unique patterns, and he looked to be of advanced age. "For this Treasure Hunt, everyone has brought many good things."

"Recently, our Whale Shark Tribe discovered a special grass that can actually cleanse everyone's Mental Sea!"

"Today, we have specifically brought it to share with everyone."

As soon as he finished speaking, a Beastman carefully carried up a stalk of grass. The emerald-green grass-ginseng had an ordinary appearance, yet it seemed to carry a mysterious radiance; just looking at it from afar made one feel their mind become clearer.

The Whale Shark elder looked with satisfaction at the shocked and stunned expressions of the Beastmen below the stage and introduced it proudly, "We have named it Sea Spirit Ginseng."

"The Sea Spirit Ginseng sells for three thousand Crystal Coins per stalk. I will be selling these Sea Spirit Ginsengs to everyone until the Treasure Hunt ends." As he spoke, the Whale Shark elder's face crinkled into wrinkles as he smiled, proudly watching the shocked expressions of the Beastmen below at this news.

Below the stage, Baiqi sought Baipei's opinion. Baipei's expression was somber, yet she seemed indifferent. "We'll buy a few stalks to see later."

Baini's Mental Sea was already healed, so even if the Sea Spirit Ginseng were truly useful, it was not such a necessity for Baipei; she wanted to wait and see a bit more.

"Everyone may now move about freely."

"All unmarried adult females must choose a Beast Husband before sunset today."

"Ah, Ya Sha ah..." The Shanbei Shouren began to chant again, and the grand and noisy Treasure Hunt began.

Chaosheng stood blankly in place. She was completely unfamiliar with this entire process and didn't even know what she was supposed to do.

Baini lowered his head, his nearly two-meter height standing beside Chaosheng like a large tree. His eyes seemed to see only the little Mermaid before him. "Chaosheng, let's go, I'll take you to buy things."

After the Treasure Hunt began, many Tribes laid out the items they intended to trade.

Beautiful deep-sea pearls, beast-clothing made from seashells, and some delicious salmon fillets.

Chaosheng followed by Baini's side, carefully examining these items, occasionally stopping to take a few extra looks when she saw beautiful pearls.

Many Sea Beastmen were secretly peeking at this foreign female, surprised that she had actually survived until now, and also surprised that she had managed to attach herself to the most talented Male Beastman in the Polar Sea.

If she could successfully marry Baini, she would also possess a Fifth-tier Beastman's Fifth Rank Yinneng. Hmph, what a lucky female.

"Heh, I've finally found you."

A malicious voice rang out behind Chaosheng. Hearing the slightly familiar voice, a hint of darkness flashed in Chaosheng's eyes. She turned around with a cold face and looked at this female. "Who are you?" Despite having a guess in her heart, she still asked.

The female's features were mediocre, with distinctive freckles on her cheekbones and thick, wide lips. She looked at Chaosheng with slanted eyes. "Don't recognize me? You didn't show any mercy when you killed my sister!"

"Oh!" Chaosheng's brows furrowed slightly, a flash of realization crossing her eyes. "You're that Great White Shark from that day."

That reckless, extremely impulsive Great White Shark female.

"Don't talk nonsense!" Rusui glared at her furiously. She hadn't forgotten how she had killed Rutong while wearing that innocent face. "Today, the Beastmen of our Mad Shark Tribe are all here. You killed Rutong, and I want you to pay with your life!"

"You dare!" Baini quickly pulled Chaosheng behind him, terrified that this female might hurt Chaosheng even a little.

Rusui looked at Baini, her eyes filled with deep wariness. She thought through gritted teeth that this sinful female was truly a scourge; she had actually hooked a new backer among them so quickly!

The Beastmen of the Mad Shark Tribe slowly gathered around, their eyes, fierce as copper bells, staring unkindly at Chaosheng.

Nearly a dozen Great White Shark Beastmen tightly surrounded Chaosheng and Baini, appearing ready to strike at any moment to avenge their Tribe's precious female!

Chaosheng hid behind Baini's back, gently rubbing his elastic muscles, her tone innocent. "Baini, is there any punishment for killing a Beastman?"

Baini stood firmly in front of Chaosheng, the cool, smooth sensation on his arm interrupting his train of thought. The soft touch was fleeting, and the numbing itch went straight to his heart. He lowered his eyes, masking the darkness in his gaze. "The Polar Sea does not forbid fighting and killing between Beastmen."

"That's good then." Chaosheng felt relieved. She did not regret killing Rutong; after all, shark meat was indeed delicious. It was just that she didn't like trouble, and if this matter caused the hostility of all the Beastmen in the sea, that would be bad.

Chaosheng was surrounded by the crowd of Beastmen, showing no fear, her lips even curling slightly; she didn't take these Beastmen seriously at all.

After these few days, the injuries on her body had recovered, and thanks to the filth in Baini's Mental Sea, her Witch Power had devoured that filth and converted it into her own strength; her power was even greater than before.

"It's her! She killed Rutong!" Rusui pointed at Chaosheng, screaming viciously. This hateful, wicked female actually dared to smile?

As soon as the words fell, the surrounding Beastmen immediately erupted like a boiling pot, wanting to rush forward and tear Chaosheng to shreds.

"This foreign sinful female dares to kill our noble female?!"

"Kill her and avenge Rutong!"

"Kill her!"

The Shark Beastmen clamored to avenge Rutong. A sudden gust of wind struck, and three Wind Blades hit the shoulders of these speaking Beastmen respectively.

Baini waved his right hand, wielding the Wind Blades, and coldly raised an eyebrow, looking at them as if they were corpses. "Are you looking to die?"

The sharp wind carried energy capable of killing invisibly, and the pressure of a Fifth-tier Beastman quickly shocked these Shark Beastmen into silence.

"Baini!" A female slowly walked up from behind the Tribe. She had a mature and gorgeous appearance but wore a feigned innocent expression. She wore white seashell beast-clothing, and a long white pearl chain hung over her curvaceous figure.

"What are you doing?"
