Hitching a ride

Chaosheng pursed her lips, her gaze heavy. "What are you trying to say?"

Ailu was not annoyed; she flicked the whip in her hand and said leisurely, "He is still in private contact with the young master of the Jingju Tribe."

"I heard there has been quite a bit of trouble between you all."

"I advise you to go check on that sister of yours, lest you end up as enemies as siblings."

"That Krill Orc is currently thinking of ways to cause trouble for you all all day long."

Speaking of this, Ailu paused slightly and did not continue.

Chaosheng listened quietly without answering, the expression on her face unclear; only her slightly darkened purple eyes revealed the unrest in her heart.

"That Lianxun?" Honglianlian asked, opening her mouth. She was very gossipy and naturally had heard some news. "I heard he has angered Baiqi's Beast Husband away several times."

"And it always falls to Leader Bai to go find him and bring him back."

"Sigh, if they are truly so in love, they shouldn't be harming other Beastmen."

After Honglianlian finished sighing, she caught a glimpse of Chaosheng's increasingly dark complexion out of the corner of her eye, and her own expression changed as she tactfully shut her mouth.

Chaosheng's thoughts settled slightly, and she thanked Ailu, "Thanks."

"I will discuss this matter with Baini when I get home."

Upon hearing this, Ailu's lips curled into a cruel smile. "So what if he is still entangled with your sister now?"

"A Krill Orc dying silently is a very normal thing."

……

After Chaosheng and Honglianlian left the War Shark Tribe, Honglianlian said she had other things to do and would not be seeing Chaosheng home.

Chaosheng swam aimlessly, her large purple tail flicking lazily.

A touch of irritation stained her heart.

That Lianxun dared to poison Baini; it was already not easy that he had been spared and his life not taken.

Baiqi was actually still in contact with Lianxun; could this Beast Husband really be more important than Baini, her own brother?

Recalling the first time she met Baiqi, she was gentle and sensible, like a thoughtful sister.

One could never tell she was such a love-struck Beastman.

The blue waves rippled, and the seaweed swayed.

A black vortex appeared out of thin air.

A hand with distinct joints gently grabbed her flicking large purple tail.

Chaosheng stumbled unexpectedly. "Hey!"

She flicked her tail and looked back angrily at this hateful Beastman.

Zhuche chuckled, his enchanting and seductive voice drilling into Chaosheng's ears, bringing about a wave of numbness.

"What are you doing?"

"Let go!"

Her long purple hair danced with the waves in the sea, thick as a waterfall, and her exquisite and beautiful face in the middle shone with breathtaking beauty.

The hand grabbing her tail pressed down with a bit more force, ambiguously pressing against two scales. Zhuche's lips curled slightly, his eyes carrying a hint of wanting to settle scores. "After using me, you don't want me anymore?"

Ever since he sent the Chunze Vine to the little female, she had never come to find him again, as if she had forgotten him entirely.

"Hmm?"

His deep blue gaze was gloomy, staring unblinkingly at the little female before him.

"Hmph!" Chaosheng flicked her tail hard twice, but his strength was too great and she couldn't shake him off. She stopped in frustration, looking at Zhuche with a hint of annoyance in her eyes. "I don't understand what you're talking about."

"Let go of me, I'm leaving."

Hearing this, the force on her tail increased by another two parts, but he controlled his strength well—enough to firmly hold the little Mermaid's tail without making her feel pain or damaging those scales that were as beautiful as gems.

A hint of amusement flashed in the depths of Zhuche's eyes; was she actually getting angry?

"You had me guard that pile of grass for you every day, and this is the attitude you give me?"

Chaosheng's eyes cleared for a moment, and she suddenly gave a start. She had almost forgotten that she had asked this guy to guard her precious vines, which she would still need to use later.

Thinking of this, Chaosheng's tone toward Zhuche improved slightly. "Then you just watch them well for me."

"I will definitely compensate you later."

This guy also had abilities and would surely have a day where he suffered a Spiritual Sea Riot; she would have to help him then.

"Compensate?" Zhuche chewed the two words lightly in his mouth, a hint of charm outlining the corners of his eyes, his smile deepening. "How do you want to compensate me?"

Chaosheng said confidently, "When you are in pain, you can make a wish to me, and I will come to help you."

These words took on another meaning in Zhuche's ears. He looked at Chaosheng with his deep blue eyes, their meaning unclear, and answered softly, "Good."

You must remember that.

This is something you promised yourself.

The hand on her tail lingered and stroked twice, and only after her sensitive tail fin couldn't take it anymore and began to struggle did Zhuche let go. "Hmm, you go back first then."

"Or perhaps, do you want me to take you?"

Zhuche's ability level must be very high; he could not only create a space out of thin air but also teleport at will within a hundred miles.

Since a ride had arrived right in front of her, Chaosheng naturally had no reason to refuse, and she said naturally, "Then take me home."

"Good."

A cold temperature pressed against her waist, and in an instant, Zhuche and Chaosheng vanished from where they stood.

The black vortex spun at high speed, getting smaller and smaller until it finally vanished.

The space wreathed in black mist was as desolate as ever; as soon as it sensed Chaosheng's aura, it rushed to stick to her, wishing it could burrow into her flesh to breathe in that intoxicating, fascinating fragrance.

Chaosheng was suddenly a bit curious, her purple eyes wide. "Do you usually stay in this space?"

"That's actually quite good, no need to look for a place to stay then."

"What are you thinking about?" Zhuche scoffed lightly, a hint of pride appearing in his blue eyes, "Of course I have my own place to stay."

"How could you live here?"

"I am not that kind of Wandering Orc who is homeless."

Those Beastmen wanted to expel him from the Polar Sea, but he simply refused to let them have their way.

Not only would he stay in the Polar Sea, but he would also thoroughly enjoy everything here.

Wandering Orc?

Chaosheng inevitably thought of Shanlan and Bao San; she wondered how they were doing now.

At least from what she had experienced, Wandering Orcs were no worse than other Beastmen.

Zhuche watched as the little female zoned out right in front of him, as if she hadn't heard a single word he said.

A trace of resentment flashed through his deep blue eyes; he pressed his lips together in displeasure and said in a gloomy tone, "What are you thinking about?"

"Nothing." Chaosheng blinked unnaturally and replied, "I was just thinking of two Beastmen I know."

"Hmph!" Zhuche let out a cold snort, the displeasure in his eyes growing more intense, his words laced with thorns, "You certainly know a lot of Beastmen."

"???" Chaosheng listened to this sarcastic remark and looked at him in confusion.

What is wrong with him?

Do sea snakes have snake-fits too?

Forget it, she still had things to do.

She looked at Zhuche indifferently and urged, "Hurry up, I want to go back."

"What are you dawdling for?"

"You..."
