Chapter 633

Seeing that other scholars had also rushed over, and seeing Konan on the side, Dr. Clover thought for a moment and simply stated the content he had learned directly.

"This Poneglyph records the entire truth about Devil Fruits!"

"The Devil Mother Tree has been rooted in the world for thousands of years, its origin unknown. There were rumors that it came from beyond the heavens, but this statement cannot be verified, and it is unknown whether it is true or false!"

"The Devil Mother Tree is unimaginably huge, with branches and leaves reaching the sky. At that time, it almost covered the entire world and could give birth to strange fruits. Ordinary people who ate them could obtain powerful strength like gods; that was the Devil Fruit!"

"Several hundred years ago, several powerful nations that discovered this began to constantly fight for Devil Fruits, even attempting to take the Devil Mother Tree for themselves, thereby dominating the entire world."

"Precisely because of this, wars constantly broke out between several countries back then, which was called the Dark Age in history!"

Speaking of this, Dr. Clover's voice paused, and he said in a deep voice: "Of course, if it were just these, there wouldn't be anything to be surprised about, but what truly surprised me was what happened afterward!"

"According to the records on it, the war lasted for several years, and the scale became larger and larger, but on one day, all the Devil Fruit ability users in the world suddenly acted at the same time, and in just a few days, almost all countries were destroyed!"

"Nani?"

As soon as Dr. Clover's words came out, everyone present was shocked.

"Doctor, what is going on?" Someone asked hurriedly.

Dr. Clover sighed lightly and continued: "The ancestors who recorded the Poneglyphs inferred that this had to do with Devil Fruits. The reason Devil Fruits are called Devil Fruits is that perhaps there really exists a devil in every Devil Fruit!" ===== CHAPTER 635 =====
