Thinking of the First Murder Case in Human History…

It turns out this devil has been following you for a long time; guard against him dragging you down――

People often call 'jealousy' the 'devil,' the 'brother' of 'sin.' This 'devil,' since the birth of humanity, has been leisurely trailing behind people, following them left and right. From time to time it drags the people created by God into the water, turning them into 'devils,' turning them into 'sin.' It makes good people turn bad, 'good' turn 'evil,' 'beauty' turn 'ugliness,' 'harmony' turn into 'conflict.'

You see, how happily this family lives――

The Bible records: after humanity's ancestors Adam and Eve were driven out of the Garden of Eden by God, they had two children, the elder called Cain, the younger called Abel. Cain farmed, Abel herded. Adam and Eve looked after the household. You see, how happily this family lives!

But just then the jealous devil appeared: one day, Cain and Abel simultaneously offered sacrifices to God; God favored Abel's offering and did not favor Cain's. At this point Cain became unhappy, and moreover 'greatly angry, his countenance changed.'

If your younger brother gets promoted, you become his subordinate; then it's no longer a brotherly relationship, but a leader–subordinate relationship――

At this moment the jealous devil attached itself to Cain's ear, whispering to him: 'Your younger brother has been noticed by the leader; he will surely be promoted soon. Now you two brothers are equal—older brother not big, younger brother not small. In the future, once your younger brother is promoted and entrusted by the leader, you will become his subordinate; you will no longer be brothers, but a leader and his subordinate.' The jealous fury burning in Cain's chest made him lose reason and morality; in the situation where his brother was completely unprepared, he killed him in the field. This is humanity's first murder case; humanity's first killing, yet it was caused by jealousy.

When others――

In real life, when others are more handsome than you, the jealous devil will whisper to you: 'Let her face fall and scar……'; when friends become wealthy, become bosses, while you remain a 'poor wretch,' the jealous devil will whisper in your heart: 'His wealth must be ill-gotten, made from workers' sweat and blood; don't look at how prosperous he seems now—there will be a time when he meets misfortune.' When your classmates rely on university, get promoted, become people above others, the jealous devil will whisper in your heart: 'The higher you climb, the harder you fall.....'
