Facing the future's "kiss"

Facing the future's "kiss", what should we do?

Liu Guozong

Unbeknownst to us, our Earth has been "kissed" four times.

During the Warring States period, there was a person from Qi who once worried that the sky would collapse. Later someone told the Qi people that the azure expanse enveloping our heads is not stone but atmosphere, and atmosphere is everywhere; our Earth moves within the atmosphere, so how could this sky collapse?

Modern scientific research has proved: the Qi people's worry about the sky is correct; the sky will indeed collapse, and it has already collapsed many times: in the past over 200 million years, the sky has collapsed four times. The time periods are respectively: 91oo million years ago, 65oo million years ago, 38oo million years ago, 11ooo million years ago; according to past patterns, if another 26oo million years pass, the sky will still have to collapse once more.

When the sky collapses: biological extinction, ecological change. No matter if you are a high official, low official, or an official like a caterpillar; whether you are a poor commoner, a big boss, small boss, big star, small star, not a star, wanting to be a star, penniless, begging for food — in short, all life must be reborn.

Scientists have proved through observation and research of the universe that our solar system has two suns: one that brings light and energy to our Earth, closely related to our lives — this is the sun that accompanies us every day, giving Earth light and energy; the other, we cannot see. It is very far from our Earth. Like the sun, it emits light and heat. However, this sun is not a star but a planet. Its direction of motion is the same as Earth's: it continuously orbits the sun day and night. In its motion, it generates tremendous gravitational pull, which can cause many large and small celestial bodies to wobble on the brink of falling, even to collide head‑on. People call these colliding bodies 'comets' (obscurity stars). When comets approach Earth, those stars that have been lonely in space for too long 'kiss' Earth. This 'kiss' has unimaginable consequences: at best, biological extinction, drastic biological change, rebirth; at worst, mountain‑shouting sea‑wails, mountains leaping and earth splitting, Earth 'shattered to pieces'.

As early as 26oo million years ago, there was a comet with a diameter of about 8 kilometers that, at a speed of 7o kilometers per hour, 'kissed' the Earth, causing the Earth to leap and crack, leading to biological extinction. When that comet kissed the Earth, it was still in Mason City, Iowa, Meiguo, leaving behind a 'scar' 35 kilometers wide and long. How will modern people dodge and face the 'kiss' of the obscurity star to avoid the calamity of heavenly punishment and earthly destruction? Let us first introduce what is related to this story――

"Snow White Princess" and the "White Witch"

In myth and legend, Chang'e is the "Snow White Princess" on Yueqiu. People throughout history and across the world have made various guesses and associations about the "palace" where the heavenly Snow White Princess resides: "When will the bright moon appear? I raise my cup and ask the blue sky; I know not what year it is in the heavenly palace tonight." The beautiful Chang'e — when did she "marry" to accompany your Earth "husband"? On this, scholars have offered many differing opinions.

Some say she split off from the Earth's body, that she is the Earth's only begotten "Snow White Princess"; that she is the "child" separated from the Earth mother's embrace, and Earth is her "father". Others say Earth is not her "father", but her "dream lover", "kindred spirit across the world". She was originally a "White Witch" wandering through space.

The former identity of this "White Witch" was originally a planet wandering through space. In the course of her wandering, she followed many stars — either the stars "threw" her down, or she found the stars unappealing. Through eternity and the vastness of space, true kindred spirits are rare. In one of her wanderings, she occasionally realized that Earth was her "dream lover", "kindred spirit across the world".

The "dream lover" and "kindred spirit across the world" that she found is indeed the "heaven's pride". On this "dream lover" there is air, water, and a temperature suitable for the survival, nurture, and growth of all living things; thus she was deeply attracted by its superior conditions, yet she lacked the courage to approach her "lover". Thus she kept her passion forever at a distance that was neither near nor far. Heaven and earth endure, lasting only until eternity. Also, some people firmly reject the tale of the "Snow White Princess" and the "White Witch", saying: "No"――

One must not be deceived by her beautiful appearance; Yueqiu is a hollow "sphere".

Using illusions to deceive others is a common human tactic. Some people appear respectable on the surface but are corrupt inside. Look at Chang'e in the moon palace — her appearance is how beautiful:

"The moon rises, bright and white; the lovely person is graceful and calm,"

"Gentle and winding, the heart is at ease and quiet."

Bright moon hangs in the sky ah, the moonlight pure and clear. Seeing a beautiful maiden ah, walking alone out of the Guanghan Palace, my heart is so excited, how I wish to whisper a word to her ah, accompany her for a stroll, to dispel that beautiful loneliness in the maiden's heart. This is merely humanity's beautiful wish, but the fact is, that beautiful maiden is a mysterious extraterrestrial, and Yueqiu is the extraterrestrials' space station. Beneath the maiden's immaculate white exterior resides an extremely civilized extraterrestrial humanity.

It turns out there are four beautiful Princesses in the heavens.

It turns out that as early as 15 billion years ago, Mars underwent a tremendous change; its civilized humanity could no longer survive there, so they had already built four space stations the size of Yueqiu. Inside these four space stations were facilities more advanced than those of our Earth humanity, more suitable for life to survive and live: a sun manufactured using nuclear reactors, computer-controlled seasonal temperatures, and the stations enjoyed eternal spring. Within the stations' eternal spring: there were broad, fertile fields. On the fields lay crisscrossing rivers; along the riverbanks fruit trees stood in rows, blossoms falling in profusion; in the fields grew lush green grass, flowers in full bloom, melons and fruits fragrant, wheat and rice golden. In short, the Martians' space stations were more splendid than the Peach Blossom Valley designed for humanity's future by the great Jin dynasty poet Tao Yuanming of our country, and also safer and more reliable.

When all conditions suitable for life to survive and live on Mars had completely disappeared, those Martians who had mastered advanced civilization entered the haven they had created for themselves—the space Yueqiu—then left Mars, arriving at the edge of Earth they had probed, intending to further explore my Earth, and to land upon our Earth. However, as they approached Earth, because those three Martian space stations had not grasped the operational laws of our Earth, they could not keep Earth in synchronous motion with us, and they collided with us and were destroyed. Their destruction also dealt a catastrophic blow to our Earth: it caused ninety percent of Earth's biota to go extinct, and it struck our Earth into three great hollows: the Atlantic Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, and the Indian Ocean.

Thus, that Qi person's worry about the heavens does have some justification. Modern people also worry about the heavens, and are also exploring humanity's new home. Where, then, is this new home for humanity?

What to do without milk and bread? Without a house and a car….?

Liu Guozong

People often say: "Birds fly toward the high, water flows toward the low." "Birds fly toward the high" is the birds' yearning and expectation for the high. Because birds that fly low are all inept birds; these birds are easily harmed, especially prone to harm from people. Like those sparrows that fly all day in front of and behind houses, or flutter back and forth over grass by the river, they are often chased and bitten by dogs and cats, living their whole lives in trepidation, unable to enjoy even a few days of peace; whereas those eagles or great peng-like birds that can fly into the clouds can soar between the blue sky and white clouds, and the lowly creatures on the ground (including people) can seldom inflict harm upon them. Therefore, those sparrows that dwell in front of and behind houses and in the grass, in order to lead peaceful, free, happy lives, also practice the skill of high flight all day long. However, those little sparrows are often limited by their own conditions; they often cannot fly high no matter how they try.

Little sparrow, unable to fly high—this is fate. Fate, you must accept it. Fate, you should keep to your station and live your days; you should follow nature, flying in the grass, if you have no bread or milk, you can fill your belly with grass seeds; if you have no air conditioning or heating, you can warm yourself with the sun. You should not feel resentful and mock those birds that fly higher and farther than you: "Why must you fly so high and so far? Look, I take off from the ground and swiftly reach the thicket of short trees by the river. In those thickets there are more grass seeds and tiny insects than I can eat. If I am thirsty, I go to the small river and drink some of its water. I fly up a few zhang and then come down. Look, I fly about all day in front of and behind my thatched hut, up and down in the grass, and left and right of the riverbank thickets; although I sometimes suffer injury, even my life may be threatened, I am still quite free and happy. You great birds, why must you stay in the blue sky and white clouds, or even higher and farther?"

"I want to know the world, I want to comprehend the universe, ah!" those high-flying birds said: "We go upward, then fly ever higher,"

Leaping up from the ground in a single bound,

Like a cloud of blazing fire,

Flying into the vast azure firmament,

Forever singing of flight,

Flying while singing.

The sun beneath the horizon

emitting golden electric light,

that is the resounding brightness of our song.

In the clear sky, rosy vapors and rising clouds,

that is our proud and beautiful wings.

We fly over high mountains,

fly over secluded valleys,

pass through the grasslands,

soar over the oceans,

the whole universe,

all are listening attentively—

my joyful singing.
